Abstract

Elderly house is a building that functioned as a shelter for the elderly man was being treated, cared for and given more attention. Numbers of elderly who do not consider the functional aspects and comfort make the elderly are reluctant to stay in elderly house. The purpose of this scheme is to provide seniors with atmosphere and design of the natural environment, safe, back to nature for the elderly and provide full facilities to serve the needs of the elderly. The concept of this design is applied to the familiarity of the layout, organization of space and furniture and adjacent groups. In addition, the combination of colors and materials also supports the concept of familiarity on St.Yosef elderly house. In St. Yosef between public spaces interconnected set, used together, and open to one another, this interior design benefits the elderly is to provide a means for the elderly where they can socialize with comfortable quarters feel feel like home.

Abstract

The meaning of Elizabeth Bag Store Interior Design in Semarang is map out Elizabeth bag store interior with design concept be in the form of design ideas, design themes, ideas or themes characteristic and ideas or themes application in bag stores interior. Elizabeth bag store is designed with post modernism style which is contained modern style, colonial style and java etnic. The modern style application in Elizabeth bag stores can be found at simple furnitures shape but elegant and apply materials like glass, stainless stell and gloss finishing. The colonial style application in Elizabeth bag stores can be found at windows design, high platform and chandlier lamp. The java etnic style application in Elizabeth bag stores can be seen at wood texture finishing.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a high enough intensity of disasters. This is due to the geographical location of Indonesia which lies in the path of the Pacific Ring of Fire which is the most active zone of the row of the active volcanic mountain in the world. Against the backdrop of this, ‘The Interior Design of Disaster Mitigation Education Center in Yogyakarta’ facilitates the community to explore the causal and the mystery behind these natural phenomena interactively with dynamic atmosphere and distinct space design. Presenting an interactive and literated design, interior design involves direct experience of visitors to try simulations of natural disasters. In order to give personal experience of disaster response with the experts, this facility will be completed with various supporting facilities like science lounge, mini theater, lobby, gift shop, and a consistory area. The application of post-modern design style and dynamic design is expected to introduce a modern educational with cultural aspects implemented in the design.

Abstract

Studio design is one of the useful facilities to plan a design product. Interior Design of Christian University has a great potency to change the present studio to become better studio which has better quality to develop the design learning process and comfort of the students in studio. In order to use that great potency, “Ultimate Studio” concept is apllied. Within this concept, the ideas of multi functional furniture design and interior element appear to help the student activities and to give comfortable atmosphere in the studio so that the teaching and learning process in the stuio can be condusive and optimal. The facilities in the studio designed need to be adapted with the students needs by dividing the studio to be areas which can help the students activites and give better atmosphere in the studio. This plan is expected to reach optimal result to bring positive functional effect for the design studio of Petra Christian University

Abstract

American car Supercar timeless design is said to be due to changes in each generation American Supercar car, definitely will not change drastically from its predecessor and is also known as muscle car because the average American has a super car that had a big cc engine, the paradigm that considers expensive American car products, exclusive and rare, so people are reluctant to visit the showroom, therefore American supercar design gallery in Surabaya is intended to invite the public to know the ins and outs, advantages and quality of American super car. Designing interior design purposes the American supercar Gallery In Surabaya convenient and informative style that has a modern hitech facilities hangout, cafes, spare parts and repair shop. Hi tech style, used for vehicle types Supercar loaded with technology and to highlight facilitate the delivery of information technology. Cozy atmosphere in this design is achieved through the complete facilities and atmosphere of the interior. Because Supercar America is not like a regular car, the use of materials and new materials. Informative atmosphere is achieved through the use of LED display panel and display that shows information bias. Application of shine in the dark theme applied to colors, materials and formations such as the use of finishing an impressive shine and gloss black or dark colors to impress dark.

Abstract

Musical Interior Element is an interior element which function  is combined with the function of musical instruments. The Interior elements consist of flooring, wall, ceiling and other object, such as furniture. Musical interior elements aims to propose a non-visual aspects of the interior elements of sound that is produced by the material. The target of this musical is for all ages which make the design easy to play, therefore musical interior designed with a simple form that is easy to play. To convey what it is not enough musical interior elements designed on paper only because the author uses a 1:1 prototype. The design method used is the method of experiment and research on related objects, namely the interior elements and musical instruments to get the opportunities or possibilities of any interior elements that can be combined with the function of musical instruments.

Abstract

Design of the restaurant in the hotel has a long life to represent the character of the hotel. Considering the atmosphere inside the restaurant which can be induced by social and environmental conditions. Shangri-La, one of the biggest hotels in Surabaya with Timeless Elegance legend that has some characteristics of fusion type restaurant with lounge, buffet, specialty and has a different special character, but still ongoing. Approach to the theory of aesthetic form of Herbert Read which refers to the aesthetic forms with meanings in it and the arrangement of the forms of expression that creates an object that is the interior of the restaurant Hotel Shangri-La. Methods of research used a descriptive approach. Subject matter within the scope and form of aesthetic expression with the physical limitations of spatial design elements, forming spaces, transitional space, a space filler, and decorative ornamentation. The results explain that the restaurant in the Hotel Shangri-La to apply aesthetic values, while the combination of the elements and principles of design in interior restaurant with variations in the composition to form an expression that is familiar expression equation, quiet, comfortable, open, stable, eternal, natural, warm, familial to the same hotel for the expression differences of each destination restaurant on the lobby Lounge is kemegahaan; celebration, cleanliness in restaurant Jamoo; Chinese culture at Shang Palace Restaurant and the creation of a variety of room ambience.

Abstract

The design is made to increase community activities in sport, especially for the teenagers, this design also to introduces a new sport to community, the sport of airsoft gun. This design not only invites community to exercise but also to provide information of airsoft gun.                    This design uses the function space so that people can visit to get information clearly and a new place for an interentingly exercise, by displaying a collection of objects and their descriptions, and supported by an attractive interior atmosphere.

Abstract

Day care is a place that makes "second home" for children who have parents who have a lot of activity. Has a variety of activities, so as to meet the metabolic activity and motor learning them. The method used was a qualitative method. Within a day care there is the curriculum. The curriculum is used as a basis for making a decision mentukan learning system, and the necessary space requirements. Also needs a room is determined by the activity there. Activity a Day Care will be one of the main factors for the development and the smooth development of the child. This study aims to determine the application of the curriculum to the design of the interior. Factors that support the activities can be done through the standardization is achieved through the size of the furniture, classroom arrangement, materials, lighting, and ventilation are used. Curriculum role in the process of learning, and support the necessary conditions for an interior children in a Day Care for children dapatberkembang optimally. The results are contained in a Day Care, has several major requirements that is comfortable, healthy, and safe. And according to the needs of the activity required.

Abstract

This design project is about a Sport Centre for Children. The background of the birth of this idea is that children can get an education in Surabaya completely and perfectly, not only intellectually increase in intelligence but also can develop in motor development that can help children to be more confident and  have a healthy lifestyle since the early age. The theme of this design is "Garden"  by creating an atmosphere of a garden in the room so that children can feel more free to express and also not saturated. The design is equipped with classrooms Gymnastics, Dance Class, Yoga Class, Archery Class, Karate Class, Indoor Basketball, Indoor soccer, Indoor Hockey, and supported with a shower room, locker room, lobby, play ground and a cafe.
