Abstract

The application of Fengshuipatternflow of Company ‘X’ is a research which examining and understanding the theory of Fengshui, integrated with interior design as theart of organizing space. This study is conducted by comparing current field report with the existing literatures, then analyzed whether the real life condition is relevant to the theoretical background ither based on Fengshuior interior design point of view. This paper discusses about Fengshui and interior design as two disciplines which used for arranging the space and benefitting for open up the perception regarding to Fengshui as one of the culture that can be applied on setting up a room especially the interior of the office room. Both knowledge has different orientation, yet on the application, all of them canbeused for thepurpose of achieving the optimum result related to the productivity  of the workers inside the office. From the analysis, it can be concluded that Company ‘X’ have been 80% accordant to the Fengshui and interior design theory.

Abstract

In fact, Ornamental Fish breeding is inspiring people who loves ornamental fish. Not only because the beauty of the fish but also people can make some money from their fishes which ready to be sold in the fish market. Interior Design of Ornamental Fish Information Centre is the place for people to get some information about ornamental fish and to be the place for ornamental fish lover and breeder to share their experience and knowledge. The facilities are lobby, café, show room, fish care area, mating fish area, fish sales area, accessories, locker, and toilet. The concept design is sterilised fresh water collected from sterilisation process then implemented to the design to create a good atmosphere and comfortable place.

Abstract

Chinese people is the most immigrants around the world compared to the others. Although they lived with so many people around the world, they kept do their tradition with respect to their anchestor. Surabaya known as coastal settlements so that a lot of immigrants will come, include Chinese people. One of the Chinese tradition is Anchestor Worship. Chinese people who do this tradition usually has a anchestor worship’s altar in their house. Anchestor worship’s altar has a big influence in organization of space, because it has a lot of rules to organize. This research use the qualitatif method which is descriptive in character. The result of this research show that a lot of difference between the literature and the fact, that achestor worship’s altar didn’t give influence to chinese house anymore. It can because of so many factor, such as environmental condition or chinese people who forget their tradition.

Abstract

“Shop and Play Airsoft Gun” in Trawas which is one of many place that people that still at teen or adult can spend their time for their daily sport or even stimulate their adrenaline. This place can also help them not only for daily sport, but this place can help them to think of a strategy to win their batle with another team, But “Shop and Play Airsoft Gun” not only to make our life healthy, but also to introduce to Indonesia that airsoft gun is a tool for play and sports, not for act of crime. Also with the education for new player that want to know about airsoft gun. “Shop and Play Airsoft Gun” Have e thematic design, which are World War II so that its give many atraction to people to come. But because this game is dangerous for kids, this game must be limited to 17 years above, so that there is no harm and accident happened in the process of the game.

Abstract

Motocross in Indonesia has been known since many years ago especially in big citis. But the available facilities in Surabaya do not support. That is why a motocross centre is neeeded as a place for hobbiers, to fullfil their needs in Surabaya. The other problem for the motocrossers is the uncertain weather at the outdoor track. The weather is a primary aspect to be put into acount whenever they want to carry out their hobby. Their for, this indoor motocross centre is design for them to do it without being interfered by the weather and they do not have to go down the outdoor track or down the traffic road.

Abstract

Walk-in closet is a closet large enough to walk inside to store clothes or other fashion objects. All fashion needs can be stored and attractively furnished in it. However, a walk-in closet requires a fairly wide area, while the living space now days is becoming increasingly limited. Thus, a it is in general can only be enjoyed by people with large enough living space. Therefore, it needs a storage that can effectively meet the growing needs of users. With the field survey and study of the literature on the design of a walk-in closet, the design of portable walk-in closet intended to meet the needs of fashion storage media to be more effective by most people, especially people who haves limited living space.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of history and culture which we should keep them well, so they will not be destroyed as time passes. One of them is martial art Wushu, which long known in Indonesia in the name of ‘Kunthauw’. This martial art which came from China has live side by side with the life of Indonesian’s society for a long time, but it’s a pity that this martial art practitioner mostly still stand just by themself. Society itself often has some misunderstanding about Wushu. Interior designers play their parts to create a place which combine Wushu practitioners and giving enough information for Indonesian people about Wushu.

Abstract

Research studies is about the application of vintage style in some cafe in Surabaya aims to determine the application of vintage design styles contained in the interior of the cafe Carpentier Kitchen , Canary Cafe , Daily Sweet Cafe , and Stilroad Cafe . Research studies of vintage style design will be carried out in Surabaya with a case study that some cafe in Surabaya that meets the criteria of vintage design styles , including the Carpentier Kitchen , Canary Cafe , Daily Sweet Cafe , and Stilroad Cafe . The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method . Since the purpose of the study was to determine the application of modern design vintage style cafe on the interior of each of which became a case study research . In collecting the data necessary literature studies , interviews , and direct observation to study the object . After the data is collected then proceed with data analysis methods and conclusions drawn in the end

Abstract

Surabaya is one of the biggest cities in Indonesia. Most people whose life there has a consumptive life style, especially for those women. Surabaya has much fashion retails with its brands and facilities. But it still can’t fulfill what customers needs.So, with this Interior Design Fashion Center “Forever 21” in Surabaya hope can fulfill what customers needs and also can give them a new shopping experience. Forever 21 is a brand which already available in Jakarta and get positive responses from people there. Because the design concept is showing a new and interesting store, and also give a happy atmosphere for customers. This concept ‘ll be applied at display shape and interior element. This project ‘ll be supported with information center, so that people can get information about brand and fashion trend.

Abstract

Wine is a beverage made from fermented fruit, especially grapes, which have been widely recognized by society since time immemorial. For Indonesian people, wine has been popular, and consumption levels increased over time. But the majority of Indonesian people are not familiar with Indonesian local wine, and they haven’t yet understand about how to enjoy the wine. Therefore, it takes a facility as a means of education, information, appreciation, and recreational support to provide more insight for the people. Besides design purposes gallery of local wine Indonesia is also to attract foreign tourists to know the uniqueness of Indonesian wine. Efforts are underway to design objects Indonesia local wine gallery is to provide special facilities, which includes lobby, classrooms, winemaking area, area galleries, wine history area, bar, and  spa area.
