Abstract

Walk-in closet is a closet large enough to walk inside to store clothes or other fashion objects. All fashion needs can be stored and attractively furnished in it. However, a walk-in closet requires a fairly wide area, while the living space now days is becoming increasingly limited. Thus, a it is in general can only be enjoyed by people with large enough living space. Therefore, it needs a storage that can effectively meet the growing needs of users. With the field survey and study of the literature on the design of a walk-in closet, the design of portable walk-in closet intended to meet the needs of fashion storage media to be more effective by most people, especially people who haves limited living space.

Abstract

Space is a place where one interacting delivers action and reaction. Human reaction can arise from the influence of the State of the environment. The circumstances surrounding the perimeter of the environment/translated into design elements that can satisfy the needs of physical and spiritual exercises to the user, also called the atmosphere. Influence of atmosphere not only comes from the presence of the elements composing spaces but other elements such as room accessories. Accessories in a space that is often thought of as a decorative element, it gives impact to influence the emotions of visitors which ultimately impact on the atmosphere of the space. The atmosphere and character of the spaces formed by the influence of the elements composing spaces and accessories, among other things, a quiet space character produces a cheerful character, resulting in a deeply relaxed atmosphere that inspires creativity, familiar characters produce a family atmosphere, and earthy character generates an atmosphere of simple spaces. The character and atmosphere of that form are linked and tagged for compliance with the style/function area on the site.

Abstract

Education is a part that can not be discharged in the life of every person. There are a variety of ways to education, for example, an alternative course that is in great demand. Various agencies in Surabaya developing courses with a variety of facilities and quality of learning programs. The children became the object of major markets in the need for education. Realizing a container that is able to maximize the facilities and a good learning program in Surabaya for children aged 6-18 years as a reference design. Not all colleges realize the importance and influence of interior design in the learning process for children. Therefore, the concept of interior design Education Centre is taking the concept grow as problem solving where each design is focused for growing children independently, with a focused spatial planning, the design of a free and independent area for the children to learn, as well as the processing of each element of the interior by using color that is able to provide peace and activeness in learning. Good medium expected to produce children with intelligence and good personal.

Abstract

Interior World Center is a place that contain all needs and matters related to world of interior. The main purpose of Interior World Center is to give access and facilitate people in fulfill their needs that concern and correspond with interior world, that is to say with combine and integrate several interior activity into one in corporated place. Inside of this building there are several commercial space related with the interior world. The commercial spaces will support each other in order to succeed Interior World Center. The commercial spaces are furniture retail and interior accessories, furniture gallery, interior and contractor consultant office, cafe, meeting room, and also room for training and introduction about sustainable design.

Abstract

A talented designer from Jember city who founded a fashion house Dynan Fariz International High Fashion Center. Dynan Fariz has a dream to make Jember city as a fashion city, so he founded the Jember Fashion Carnaval. Jember city is known identical with  JFC. The interior design gallery of Jember Fashion Carnaval in Jember’s city, will make the city the center of fashion, So people can see the works of JFC without waiting once a year, and can provide positive impacts for the community and the district administration of Jember. By creating a gallery that has an entertainment value, educational, recreational, able to give special image for visitors, and can provide positive impacts for Jember’s city as a fashion city. To support the interior design requires data and formulation of the problem as a benchmark. The scope of the design in this gallery include best costume gallery, gallery of unique costume, costume next gallery, photo studio JFC, souvenir shop, a demo area, area history, profiles and awards area. This gallery is expected to be a means for young people to channel their talents and  in future JFC can has positive impacts. Because of that the concept of Golden Treasure gallery can illustrate that the JFC is one of the valuable asset of Jember’s city.

Abstract

The advance of century and technology in Indonesia however triggered the social changes in society. One of the social changes is the pattern of relationship between parents and their children, especially the urban society. The hectic activity and high individualism are the causes that made parents rarely get proper attention and care from their children. A lot of parents are left even separated from their childrens life. This phenomenon will greatly affect the mental and psychological development of parents. People in the elder stage will feel that they are useless if they do not get any attention that they need. This design interior of Panti Surya Orphanage aim to fulfill the needs by parents who do not get proper care from their children and live lonely. This interior design using an analytical method with doing field survey and direct interview to know what the real problem is, and then collecting the data that are gathered and analyze the data as the fundamental of the design. The orphanage design is based on the Universal Design standard so that this design can give a good impact to the elders and the society around.

Abstract

Factors of concern to the elderly be family problems because of the busyness and routines. The elderly often feel ignored by family members because of the bustle of their son or grandson, and it makes the elderly feel careless, dan less communicating.The purpose of this design is to provide a temporary home for the elderly during their family members busy, which can became a new altenative for the Surabaya’s people. The concept of the design is CARE, which means giving warmth, feel save, comfort and can including all the physical and psychological differences from the elderly. The author expect the elderly can getting together and communicate with each other as well and get some entertainment or attention as long as they are in the elderly house.

Abstract

Interior Design of Eco Hotel in Sendang Biru, Malang is aim to provide lodging facilities in the tourist area of Sendang Biru that give insight and inspiration to the community about the implementation of eco-interior as well as the growing concern for nature. Application of eco-interior aspect of the approach is done through 8 are visible on the facilities that are designed, the lobby, restaurant, outdoor café, gym, spa, bread shop, library, workshops, and hotel rooms. Workshop facility, allowing communities to better understand and recognize eco-interior as well as its application, through information and training related to creativity eco-interior, and invite the community to care for the natural environment is currently experiencing issues, namely global warming. Therefore, designers design a lodging facility that can inspire the public about the application of eco-interior through the application of the building as a hotel and workshop facilities where visitors can better understand the eco-interior with teaching and channeling creativity.
