Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago with 33 provinces with 17,508 islands, that most of the plains are surrounded by waters. The interior design of this terminal will become a place for transportation facilities devoted to the residents who want to take advantage of cruise tourism. This project is planned as a response to the high demand of international and local tourists, which made Bali as a major tourist spot with beautiful beaches and seascape, as well as business purpose for the investor. This terminal will provoke the interest of local and international tourists, especially those using cruises and seaplane transportation to visit Indonesia. Abstract

Café is the place which perfect place to gather or just relaxation from tight activities. Café usually have light food and drink for dish and have live music for additional entertainment. Magnum café is ice cream café from Unilever Walls product which was openened in Jakarta city and Surabaya city not yet. In this café the visitor can also learn more about history of Walls from beginning until now. From this café also give different atmoshphere than another café like give something unic in every room which place to this café. And the hope is give something interesting to visitor who come to this café.

Abstract

Ganefo Hotel was originally a residence of an ex- lieutenant of China who was assigned by the Dutch to oversee the activities of the local population. Although at this time the building has functioned as a hotel, the styles of Dutch Colonial and Chinese are applied to the building is still maintained until now. The combination of styles in this hotel makes it an interesting object to be researched. This study aims to analyze the Dutch Colonial and Chinese styles which still exist in this building. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The result demonstrates the application of Dutch Colonial design styles and China on the interior Ganefo Hotel Surabaya which is seen on the building orientation, layout, organization of space, space-forming elements, transition elements, furniture, and decorative elements.

Abstract

Designing the interior of a gallery in the middle of the modern this is the big challenge where shall be adjusted with  era development rightnow with an element of culture. Of a gallery is expected to add a reference several models kebaya, because kebaya is Indonesian asset. The concept is used to adjust a motif that is often used in kebaya has been in modification. Expected by the existence of this gallery became a place that informative for many people. To support those people, will be held a modern kebaya gallery with many facilities such as:lobby, fashion show area,exhibition,store,consultation room,and many more.

Abstract

Theology school is a school that engaged in Christianity and aims to educate the students to be a God-fearing and could become a servant of God as an evangelist, teacher or have a soul, to feed the church later. While the Manado area, the majority of the Christian faith is a religion, which the teachings of the ancestors is already believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the true Savior, so that up to now they are still hereditary inherited this belief, both in terms of the government to reach the public.The method used is the method of field studies and direct observations as well as literature, due to the direct observation we get to know the situation on the ground directly and with the literature we can find out what will be required in the design of this school.This design response to emerging issues in the tackle global warming problem, it will be made a theological school design green design concept in the design which will use the material or materials that are environmentally friendly, as well as the use of energy and resources efficiently, thereby also preserves the environment, in which we are living on this earth has the obligation to protect the environment around us.

Abstract

WF skin care clinic is a facility that provides health and beauty skin treatment. Curretly WF provides many facilities to offers. However, that facilities haven’t supported well by the organizations of comfortable room circulation. This project aims to provide a complete service of skin care facility, by creating an effective and efficient atmosphere for clinical,  space especialy for medical and non medical service, as well as a clear spatial separation between men and women to create flexibility activities.

Abstract

Popularity of cupcake in Indonesia starts from Bandung and endemic to other major cities. House Of Cupcake is a form of reaction to respond to these trends in Surabaya. House Of Cupcake is a place that is commercial, entertainment and education, aiming to make the cupcake as the cake is easy to obtain but still unique, as well as accommodate the cupcake connoisseurs and customers in particular in the city of Surabaya, which is one of the major cities in Indonesia. Design method using the approach of Michael J. French, where the results of the initial stages of the design will be used in the next stages, but can occur reciprocal to produce an appropriate design. Raised the concept is stylish homey, where the interior is to be created but the atmosphere of the house gets a touch of style commercial. This concept is applied in interior and decorative elements. Stylish homey is manifested through the choice of colors and a homey atmosphere raises the appropriate material.

Abstract

Ship is the oldest transportation tools in the world. Compared to others transportation tools ships need the longest time to get to their destination. Because this reason by the time ship is completed with others function, such as recreation facilities. When the passengers are on the sea they need facilities that can accommodate their needs. Design method that is used in this design proggres are plan, design, develop, and deploy. Concept for this ship’s design is Inforgettable. This concept concern on giving the passengers unforgettable trip. This concept is presented with Papua culture theme. So it can introduce Indonesian traditional culture which isn’t well known. Combine the Papua culture theme and presented in modern way make post-modern stlye. Final result for this interior design is maquette with 1:50 scale.

Abstract

Boncafe Pregolan restaurant is a restaurant in Surabaya located at Pregolan Street 2, Tegal sari, Central Surabaya. Boncafe Pregolan restaurant built in 2007. The interior of Boncafe Pregolan restaurant is divided into several rooms, main entrance area, main dining area I, main dining area II, smoking dining area, and terrace dining. The aesthetic of  interior Boncafe Pregolan restaurant is interesting to be analyzed, because of the interior’s plays inside. The design principles implemented to the interior elements and their composition, also the furnishing. the interior design shows that there is not simply designed shows the existance of aesthetic process inside. The interior of Boncafe Pregolan restaurant is adequate to be analyzed from its aesthetic using the design elements and principles. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative method by comparing field data with qualified literature data.Based on the analysis of its interior building elements and furnishing, the result shows that in interior of Boncafe restaurant , the use of square form, rectangle form, and the line elements dominates the space, the abstract form is the accent form for the space. Repetition of the form takes place to unified the space hamoniously. The use of the color for the entire space is a safe color composition, namely neutral colors, natural colors, red, yellow, blue as accent color. The use of neutral colors and natural colors are easier to combined and easier to be unified without any space chaos. The most dominant design principle is the harmonious of the space seen from visual rythyme of the interior building elements and furnishing. In Monroe Beardsley theory, aesthetic object has a whole unity that the object is perfectly arranged. The unity is achieved by the implementation of design principles, there are repetitions of the interior elements. Secondly, complexity or interpreted as harmony which shown from the windows pattern of main dining area II and smoking dining area. Thirdly, intensity or interpreted as focal point and not monotone. The stone wall stands as the focal point of the whole area and the use of alternation repetision and accent color on neutral and natural color, make non monotonic design. As a whole, the aesthetic of Boncafe Pregolan restaurant analyzed from design elements and principles achieve its aesthetic.

The sales information center and community devoted to the Lamborghini car lovers in Surabaya area. Its design concept is to get to know the place where intended, understand history as well as spare parts sales, car servicing lambhorghini and provide a gathering place for community lambhorghini car in Surabaya and surrounding areas. Facilities that will be made include receptionist, showroom area, service area, café, lounge, multipurpose room and toilet. It is developed by bringing together all the facilities for the lovers or people who want to know about a car lambhorghini in Surabaya
