<![CDATA[Kisho Kurokawa is a Japanese architect who also founder of metabolism movement. Metabolism movement is the response of over population in 1960s, after World War II. A group of young Japanese architects and designers think this is a problem that have be solved, thatâs why they propose metabolism as a new urbanism. Metabolism comes from biological words âmetabolismâ which is means a chemical process to continue life. They adapt this life principal to create metabolism theory. Metabolism application on architect is in the building flexibility to be able to add or remove as the userâs need. As time goes by, each architect and designer goes their own ways to develop metabolism. Kisho Kurokawa uses life principal and develops metabolism theory to symbiosis. His symbiosis is symbiosis between interior and exterior, symbiosis between cultures or symbiosis between human and nature. Metabolism and symbiosis are his basic concept for his every building design, regardless his modern style with Japanese unsure on it.]]>

<![CDATA[Sports boxing in Surabaya branch in reality do not have adequate space and facilities, ranging from the standard and inadequate led to the growth of boxing underdeveloped and young seedlings that have no boxing talent can develop their potential well. Through interior design that implements the concept of "Transformation of young spirit" is expected to evoke the spirit of his special community youth so interested to practice the sport of boxing and also in the presence of adequate facilities can spur so excited to practice in this boxing gym.The concept of "Transformation of young spirit" uses the style of urban design. The concept of "Transformation" itself was taken because he wanted to show the impression of the atmosphere of the room at Edy Pirih original boxing camp so at the lobby using bricks that are colored white paint coupled with wall hangings such as poster art and occurs the change from the original space into a lobby that is both modern in another room of her, while the "young spirit" is a form of style urban design application that is composed of gravity, murals, and poster art which refers to the young style.]]>

<![CDATA[Currently football has become the most popular sport in the world, it is directly proportional to the number of the fan club. Each fan club definitely needs a good place to gather it to share information, chat and even to watch the match together. Manchester United is the English football club that has the highest number of fan club in Indonesia. Therefore, in this thesis project a basecamp to accommodate the needs of the fan club Manchester United. The basecamp has several facilities such as Red Cafe, Room to watch the match, Mega Store, and the Information Center. The design of the basecamp of Manchester United  fan club is expected to be useful to accommodate all the needs of the fan club that has not been fully met.]]>

<![CDATA[Interior Design Traditional Restaurant in Surabaya East Java is the interior design of a restaurant that serves food in addition to the typical East Java also provides an atmosphere there is a traditional East Java. The planned facilities include among others the lobby, dining area table service, self-service dining areas, counter service dining areas, a gazebo, a VIP lounge and restaurant management office. Restaurant service is using the system table service, self-service and counter service, with consideration of the diverse desires of visitors. In accordance with the traditional title of East Java, the design concept of this restaurant raised about custom house joglo of East Java, therefore planned in its design with the application of customary joglo roofs and all the elements - elements that exist in traditional house joglo. That which is intended to strengthen the traditional atmosphere of East Java.]]>

<![CDATA[Indies style is a style that has the special characteristic of the influence of colonial style that invaded the town of Java. GKJW Church Surabaya established in 1924, is located in Jl.Prof.Dr.Moestopo church where the location affected by the spread of culture Indies. The distinctive feature of the interior of the church that stands out from other GKJW Church, located on the square layout elongated linear shape, and experienced the formation to form a cross, with the concept of a centralized circulation to the linear circulation. This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of force on the interior GKJW Indies Church Surabaya, and what impact that occurs due to the influence Indies style. The method used by researchers, using qualitative methods produce descriptive form of words written or spoken of those that can be observed. The results showed that the style used church interior is a modern classic style, besides there are other styles which are Art and Craft, Art Deco, and Art Neoveau. The architecture of the building as a whole are affected Indies style.]]>
