This is due to the condition of the library which is uncomfortable, boring, and lacks of facilities, including public libraries in the Probolinggo City. The interior of the library has a very important function and role for the people who come to visit it. The method used in this interior design uses the design thinking process according to Hasso Plattner which consists of 6 stages, namely: understanding, observing, point of view, ideate, prototype, and test. The interior design takes the concept of “a Fun Experience in Education” which is intended to replace the image of boring library into fun and elevate the culture of the City of Probolinggo with the tagline "Kota 1000 taman" which aims to increase the level of interest in reading among Probolinggo people from childrens to adults with entertainment facilities but still educative. Abstract

Nostalgic experience is one of the ways to attract visitors to choose the desired space. The nostalgia experience itself is the emergence of a "feeling" that has generated through various things around the individuals, as one of the triggers is the presence of interior elements in a space that can be captured by the Sensory inputs aspects consisting of visual, hearing, touch, taste, and smell (Hwang & Hyun, 2013). Marchegiani & Phau (2010) also said that the nostalgia itself was divided into 2 different points of view, ‘The way I was ’ nostalgia that means personal nostalgia, and ‘The Way it Was’ nostalgia that means historical nostalgia. This study shows how interior elements in a space can influence the emergence of nostalgic experiences that surrounds the visitors' emotional perceptions. The object used in this study is Zangrandi Ice Cream on Jl. Yos Sudarso Surabaya, which is one of the cultural heritage of Surabaya that has been established since 1930. Abstract

In recent years, Indonesia has entered a new era in infrastructure, Industry 4.0. This new era brings Indonesia to a digital, connected lifestyle. This is the spark that lights the rising of unicorns such as “Go-Jek”, Tokopedia”, “Traveloka”, and “Bukalapak”. This new lifestyle also brings Indonesia to solve national problems through digital solutions. But in reality, the Indonesian youth is not trained and educated in an efficient enough environment. On this foundation, the designer proposes an Interior Design of a Digital Startup Exhibition and Training Center in Surabaya, a facility built to inspire and train digital startup activist to support the vision of Surabaya as a smarter city. The design use “/inspire” concept, a combination of “/n”, a code for “beginning” in programming language, and “inspire”, the hope and purpose in which this facility is built on.  The designed facilities include a receptionist for registration, café for refreshments, shop/service area to accommodate user’s needs, exhibition area to showcase digital startup’s community creations, co-working area for working, training room for programming education, seminar/workshop room for various activities, and office for employee. The designer hopes to create a facility that can sufficiently represent and inspire digital startup communities into an influential movement as a digital solution for Indonesia.
