Abstract

MotoGP is a sport that uses motor vehicles with high speed to race to be able to get past the finish line first. This design aims to provide facilities for the community, especially the lovers of motogp in Surabaya, This design concept is futuristic design to support the objects on display so it does not look out of date. This design also provides facilities to increase community insight such as information about MotoGP legends, there is also a hall to carry out various activities related to motorsport, there is also a retail store that sells various MotoGP tributes and cafes so that visitors can relax for a moment After touring at this legends MotoGP museum.

Abstract

The busyness of career women who serve as housewives and also work for a living makes them lack the time to take care of their babies. Whereas the early education is the most important, when the kids are in "The Golden Age". For parents who are busy working, they will need a place like a second home for children that can care and attend to their stages of development. For the children, home has an important role in supporting the growth process. Daycare Center serves as a place where children could develop according to their needs and abilities. After studying literature and surveying daycare facilities in Surabaya, then established a facility that will be able to attend to the needs of children at age 6 months - 8 years with excellent standardization for the development of the children. Guiding and educating children by “playing while learning and learning while playing” method is the main foundation of this design plan.

Abstract

The advancement of fashion industry is growing rapidly, and every single society is fond of it. Attention is given on formal, informal, and even casual outfit. With the presence of Jakarta Fashion Week every year, people are able to see the diversity of fashion’s evolution. Hence, this Jakarta Fashion Week Museum Interior Design is expected to provide knowledge and educate the public visitors regarding the evolution of fashion trends in Indonesia. Moreover, it conveys a message to the world that Indonesia is able to compete in global fashion industry. The Harmony of Geometrical Shapes concept is what this design will put forth. Thus, the will-be-used interior is more towards simple and geometric formation. This geometric formation is used in order to make the displayed fashion looks more prominent and attractive. Supporting facilities in this design are the lobby, gift shop, retail shop, café, museum display and show area, which will make visitors comfortable.

Abstract

Ciputra World Mall is one of the high-end malls in Surabaya that has enhanced Surabaya's reputation as the more modern and international class city that has 6 floors, integrated by horizontal & vertical circulation. Circulation is an element that regulates & connects different parts of shopping centers such as anchor stores, secondary anchors, landscaping and other facilities. Organizing circulation according to Peter Coleman was identified as a functional and qualitative circulation requirement. Qualitative circulation requirements are the second recommended planning consideration for mall design details. In general, qualitative circulation requirements gives a character to a place and helps the facilities easier to be remembered. Qualitative requirements is more about the consideration of the mall usage from the visitor's point of view and to make a difference between one mall to another (Coleman, 2006). This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. This research aims to find out the application of qualitative circulation in the interior of Ciputra World Mall Surabaya. The results obtained from this research shows that "Ciputra World Mall" applies the qualitative circulation requirements according to the parameters.

Abstract

Salon is a place that is needed by the whole society, ranging from children, teenagers, to adults. Salon is used to perform body treatments and beautification that will make someone appear more confident. In this case, salon visitors can treat and beautify their body from head to toe with various treatments offered by each salon.In general, salon provides various facilities, such as hairdressing, makeup, facial, embroidery eyebrows, manicure pedicure, and others. However, it is rare to find a salon that can provide all the treatments and facilities completely in one place. Sometimes some salons provide only a few treatments because of the limited space owned by the salon. This will affect the consumer's interest to visit the salon because the provided care is incomplete and they will look for other salons to meet their care.Beauty Lounge Salon interior design aims to provide a place that has complete body care and supporting facilities so that customers can use their time efficiently to treat their body. The New Born Beauty design concept which means "reborn beauty" from Lotus as the basic idea creates a fresh, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Abstract

Restaurant and kongkow place are a unity when talked about residents from Medan city. These became a problem for those migrants from Medan city in Surabaya city because of the lack of places for kongkow avtivity. So there’s needs for a restaurant that also can accomodate kongkow activity. This restaurant applied interior atmosphere that adapted from street atmosphere based from Medan city residents’s habit to kongkow outside. This restaurant is espected to become a place for all Medan city migrants in Surabaya city gather up or even introduce Medan city’s food to Surabaya city resident.

Abstract

“Fashion Store Local Brand” in Banjarmasin is opened to fasilitate the increasing interest of local brand by adopting the local culture into deign. The design is referring to Banjarmasin‟s local culture, the character of Puteri Junjung Buih as a leader as Banjar‟s Kingdom. With the middle-up target market, “fashion store local brand” is designed modern and luxurious. The interior elements represent the character of Putri Junjung Buih, using „Sasirangan‟ fabrication which is Putri Junjung Buih‟s individual clothing style. The design theme “Magnificent Queen” is applicated using post-modern dramatic style. It fits to give luxurious look to the fashion store.

Abstract

In the midst of the increasingly high outfit needs for special events at affordable prices, there is a business concept of online designer dresses rentals. One of the pioneers in this business was Dresscodes. The idea of the design came from the owner's desire to develop Dresscodes’ retail business by opening an offline store in Surabaya, as one of the largest cities in Indonesia with a rapidly growing interest in fashion.The purpose of the offline store interior design of Dresscodes ready-to-wear fashion products rental in Surabaya is to provide the customers to see and check fashion product collections directly, a space design that can accommodate various activities, and present a visually interesting space experience for the users. The concept "Your Living Closet" aims to create a total, dainty and classy design, which not only fulfill space activities’ needs, but also creating interesting user-experience and strengthen Dresscodes’ brand image.

Beauty and fitness center is a place for relaxation and health aimed specifically for women. The hectic lifestyle adapted by women nowadays tends to make them more vulnerable to fatigue and stress. Therefore, the interior design for Woman Health and Beauty in Surabaya is an interior design project for a beauty and fitness center designed to fulfill the need of a facility that will provide complete beauty treatment and fitness training for women in a place with utmost privacy. The designed facilities include the lobby, salon area, nail spa area, spa area, fitness area, yoga area, locker area, toilet dan cafe.

Abstract

Malang City has good prospect in the culinary fields such as cafes and salon, because the consumptive lifestyle as become a trend in Malang City. Cafe  is often used as a place to gather and meet the culinary needs, while salon is often used as a place to let saturation off and body pampering. These perspectives brings Malang into a need of a space to fulfill consumer consumptive pattern and to release saturation in Malang City. This design uses the concept of "Care and Relax". The aim of this concept is to create a space needed by the people which is a place that provides comfortable, serene and relax interior for the people inside. This concept also functions to give warm athmosphere. The application of care in the design is by proximity, protection, openess, and attention while the application of relax in the design is by calmness, roomy and light.
