<![CDATA[In Indonesian lung disease have a high death. Tubercolosis (TB) world report (2006) by World Health Organization (WHO), Indonesia still the third biggest after India and China with around 539.000 cases and around 101.000 peoples die for a year. Derived from those fact it need more attention from mass society. My research can be used to decision support system which used to lung disease diagnosed, and know what kind of disease from their symptom. Decision support system use production rule method for representating knowledge about the kind of lung disease and their symptom. This inference engine use tree method and forward chaining. Result derived from this research shown that tree method and forward chaining can be used in finding lung disease from their symptom. Â Key words: tree, forward chaining, lung.]]>

<![CDATA[Network security system on the server is an important factor to ensure the stability , integrity and validity of the data . Implementation of Snort -based Intrusion Detection System can save the cost of procurement of software because it is free and quite reliable in detecting security attacks . Snort -based IDS systems can be implemented on the Linux operating system . Snort main settings and network settings , especially on existing Snort rule . An attack can be detected or not by SnortI IDS , depending on the presence or absence of an appropriate rule. Testing the IDS system was done with several attack patterns to test the reliability of Snort to detect an attack against the security system . Based on the results of testing the system Snort IDS with ping , nmap port scanning , exploits , SQL Injection , accessing the database . Snort can provide warning of an attack against the security of a network system . The warning results can be used as a reference for determining the network security policy. <![CDATA[Thermometer is a device which is generally used to measure and is used to determine the level of temperature that is around. With the increasingly rapid technological advances in recent years, particularly in electronics so that the man with the intellect and the mind is trying to develop a thermometer that can be used as needed. One result of the development of the electronic thermometer. This thermometer will display the temperature measured into digital form so that the thermometer is increasingly used in electronic equipment. In this study will be designed to measure the temperature of the CPU, this is done in consideration of the importance of a temperature control on the CPU. Purpose of the design and manufacture of these tools is to make hardware that can check the CPU temperature. This is done in consideration of the importance of a temperature control on the CPU so the CPU can anticipate the damage caused by warming temperatures. With the rapid development of PT XYZ INDONESIA, then decided to update its sales application that can not follow the process of starting a thriving business. In addition the needs of data storage capacity becomes very large. To be able to meet that need, so the new system required a more reliable and faster in performance. By looking at the problem, we needed a system / application that can move and manipulate the old data so it can be used by the new system. <![CDATA[The third generation mobile communication technology or 3G allows users to enjoy various high-speed communications services. PT Indosat, Tbk. as one of the leading mobile operators in Indonesia builds IP-based 3G telecommunications network in Malang, which consists of 3G cellular network transmitters (Node B) and Radio Network Controller (RNC), over an IP/MPLS network that become the communication line among 3G telecommunication network elements. Network devices with traditional TCP/IP concept, which is the beginning of IP/MPLS development, has a lower implementation cost and a feature to implement DiffServ (Differentiated Services) to improve Qualiy of Service (QoS). The goal of this research is to design and build a small-scale traditional TCP/IP network (testbed) and performing analysis on the Diffserv implementation. The analysis shows that DiffServ can be applied to the designed network and able to improve QoS by making priorites based on Differentiated Service Code Point (DSCP). The testbed network is  also capable of handling 3 Node B which is connected to 1 RNC. Key words: Diffserv, QoS, TCP/IP, 3G]]>

<![CDATA[Not all owners and computer technicians can diagnose early damage to computer hardware properly and appropriately. Errors in the diagnosis process will certainly bring harm to the owner of a computer or computer technicians. Based on these facts, researchers designed a diagnostic expert system computer hardware damage, in the hope of this expert system can assist them in diagnosing damage to computer hardware like an expert.In damage to computer hardware, the symptoms appear can not be used to determine the exact damage to computer hardware. These symptoms should be collected and to match each other, so that it can generate the appropriate conclusions. This process is called in an expert system by the method of forward chaining.The process of diagnosis expert system with forward chaining method can work well, the expert system application interface that is easy to use and informative, enabling the user to use and understand the contents of the information submitted in the application of expert system. <![CDATA[Internet as information resources have a role that is so important to the community . Things to consider is the Internet in interacting factors of the use of the Internet is the use of Proxy Server is one of the solutions offered to provide Internet safety . One Proxy Server is quite popular today is Squid , Squid Proxy Server is the most widely used program by the network administrator as a program for squid proxy server is open source so it can be modified according to our wishes . Therefore we use the Squid to help in setting permissions in Internet networks required to provide information security data accessed by way of the filter so that the website - a website that can be accessed should not be blocked , limiting Internet bandwidth required in the network in an attempt to equally distribute owned bandwidth according to the number of clients in the Internet network. Internet access required and Restrictions For Internet access can be used that are not held by the client who does not have the right to access the internet.               The method used for the design of an internet connection access rights management using a squid proxy server in reload.net consists of several stages: planning , data collection , analysis , design , system design , and preparation of reports.   The results of this research is the implementation of ACL Squid Proxy Server is configured by the server to limit the use of the internet so that the client can provide internet accessible data security.   Key words : Squid Proxy Server , Unblock sites , limiting bandwidth , restricting internet access ]]>

Given this assessment, is expected to produce data that is more detailed and valid. So that will improve the quality of academic performance in these institutions. From the analysis in the design of Information System Performance Assessment of Academic Lecturers at trial in the High School of Information Management and Computers (STMIK) PPKIA Pradnya Paramita Malang, there is a shortage, especially in the assessment of academic performance so that the lecturer in determining the ability of academic faculty development policy experience obstacles.
