Abstract

Expert system is a system that is trying to adopt human knowledge into a computer, so that the computer can resolve the issue like done by experts. System design expert for disease diagnosis ear, nose and throat with the utilization of the basis knowledge on file in database. Expert systems to diagnose diseases of ear, nose and throat using Forward Chaning methods and Generate and Test Algorithms which aims to carry out a search about indications in order to diagnose type of disease. Forward Chaining using Certainty Factor to calculate the level of certainty of the disease diagnose.Generate and Test Algorithm to do a searching for indication in the form of question. The system will provide questions to be answered. Data that is recognizable will adjust the rules to matched then be calculated using Certainty Factor and gives weight of the resulting answers to diseases diagnose.

Abstract

The rapid development in Indonesia is information technology. Today's computer technology can collaborate with other fields of science. One of them is a Computer Based Decision Support System (DSS). Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that is useful for increasing effectiveness in terms of decision making. A credit card is a payment instrument in the form of a card that has a credit facility to the owner in lieu of cash payment, where at maturity it can be paid with the minimum payment amount and the rest is used as credit. In applying for credit card closure, it can be combined with a decision support system. The decision support system for this case uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Preference Ranking Organization Methods for Enrichment Evaluations (Promethee). The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method has proven its reliability in weighting the criteria value and the Preference Ranking Organization Methods for Enrichment Evaluations (Promethee) is used to rank the alternatives provided. Establishing this decision support system will produce fast and accurate recommendations to credit card management on this issue.

Abstract

Retrieve, Cluster, Summarize (RCS) System merupakan sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari dokumen relevan, mengelompokkan dokumen relevan, serta menghasilkan ringkasan dari setiap kelompok dokumen relevan tersebut. RCS System terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap input query oleh user, tahap pencarian kumpulan dokumen yang relevan dengan query, tahap pengelompokkan kumpulan dokumen relevan ke dalam sejumlah cluster, dan tahap peringkasan setiap cluster dari dokumen relevan. Metode yang digunakan untuk sistem retrieval, clustering, dan automatic text summarization secara berturut-turut adalah Language Model (LM), K-Means, dan Multi Features Combination. Dalam proses perancangan RCS System, sistem retrieval dan sistem clustering dijalankan dengan menggunakan bantuan dari Lemur Development Toolkit yang telah disesuaikan untuk proses pengolahan dokumen bahasa Indonesia. Proses pengujian RCS System dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3000 dokumen Bahasa Indonesia, yang terdiri dari dokumen berita dengan kategori teknologi, kesehatan, dan olahraga. Hasil pengujian terhadap sistem retrieval menghasilkan nilai average precision sebesar 0,91 untuk top 10 dokumen, sistem clustering menghasilkan nilai average purity sebesar 78,32% dengan jumlah cluster sebesar 5, dan sistem automatic text summarization menghasilkan nilai average answer recall strict sebesar 80,00%. Kata Kunci:K-Means Clustering, Language Model Retrieval, Multi Features Combination Text Summarization, RCS System

Abstract

An application of exams and courses scheduling is made using Vertex Graph Colouring, Particle Swarm Optimization, and Constraint Based Reasoning method to produce a valid and optimal exam and course schedule which can also fulfill the demands of special schedule and room needs. FTI Untar is used as a study case in this development.  The results of the tests done for the courses scheduling of even semester of 2010 / 2011 till odd semester of 2012 / 2013, without collision of special preferences, show that on average there’s no hard-constraints (constraints that must be satisfied) violation, only 13% of soft-constraints (constaints that are attempted to be satisfied) violations between each course and 6% soft-constraints violation due to the poor preference score of the room or time used.  Whilst, the results of the tests done for the exams scheduling of odd semester of 2011 / 2012 and 2012 / 2013 show that on average there’s no hard-constraint and soft-constraint violation between each course although there is still 1% soft-constraints violation due to the poor preference score of the room used. The development was tested to the Secretariat of Informatics Department in FTI Untar and obtain a positive response because of the user-friendly user interfaces and can help to accelerate the process of course, practicum, and exam schedule’s report making.

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to assist the process of listing and checking items as well as facilitating the transaction process in PD. Duta Bangunan storehouse. The Method used in developing this application program is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). This application is desktop based that holds informations regarding PD. Duta Bangunan's inventory system. The use of this application is to supervise the product acquisition in PD. Duta Bangunan's storehouse. In addition to supervising the items, this application could generate reports with computerized one. Those reports are; report of incoming items, report of the items out, also report of return items from suppliers. This application was designed with Visual Studio 2012, using SQL Server Management Studio 2012 as the database system, Crystal Reports is also used to generate the reports.From the testing phase, the results gave conclusion that is the system created above is able to be used, and could help PD. Abstract

"Insert The Ball!" is a Physics Puzzle Game for Android Platform. Physics Puzzle Game is type of puzzle game where the player must use physics to complete the game. In This Game player must put the ball inside the ring. Player can draw objects and cut objects to aim  the ball into the ring.

Abstract

Paddy agriculture is a primary need for most of Indonesian people. Problems such as the decreasing in rice production and productivity levels drastically can affect the availability of the national’s rice stock and would give negative impact on other sectors. Therefore, it required the fast and accurate yield of crop estimation. One of the solutions offered are using remote sensing technology. Remote sensing technology used in this research include multispectral technology, the satellite, combined with hyperspectral technology, the ground based spectrometer. The objective of this paper is to estimate crop in order to assist the government to predict rice stock inventory and help the government program on food resistance based on MODIS satellite. The focus area of this research are in Karawang and Subang Regency, Indonesia. In estimate yields of rice, used three methods i.e. Principal Component Regression, Regression Ridge Regression, and Partial Least Squares. These three methods have the ability to overcome the collinearity problem, where partial least square regression give the better result from training stage. The training evaluation from PRESS  and R2 value where the partial least square regression get 0.3434 and 99,48%. Testing evaluation using real data in Subang, which has 31.281 ha areas, principle component regression give the better result. The estimation error of principle component regression from testing evaluation is 14,11%, it is smaller compare to other two methods. Key wordsRemote Sensing, MODIS, Principle Component Regression, Ridge Regression, Partial Least Square Regression.

Abstract

“Move That Plane” game is created using Unity 3D. “Move that plane” featured a war with aliens in the distant future. Players are conditioned as a pilot and part of the army that has been tasked to save the world. There are components that become elements of games such as enemy, item, and environment. Testing is done with questionnaires filled out by 20 respondents. The obtained results in the form is an increase of design and add more variety for enemy and player plane.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an application that assesses copywriting headline sentences with correct grammar and word mismatches. Copywriting is an activity of a work through writing to made the readers get response that the writers want to convey and in it there is one of the constituent elements, namely the headline which is a sentence that will be seen first before reading the main content of the work and in the headline there is an RTO formula for making it.In this research, the problem raised was implementing the shift reduce parsing method as a detection of sentence patterns and grammar in the headline copywriting from the preprocessing stage which provides part-of-speech (POS) labels using the HMM model with an accuracy value of 94.69% to the steps parsing and grading of sentences. In making this application, the SDLC waterfall model is carried out in a sequence of several processes in stages in designing and developing a system.The result of this research is an application with the form of a web framework using ASP.net as a web interface. After the application has been built, it will be tested using the blackbox test which results in 98% successful parsing that goes according to design.

Pengolah data citra yang terdapat pada penulisan skripsi ini berupa pendeteksian dan pengenalan menggunakan metode Color Histogram. Dalam membantu penggunaan metode Color Histogram untuk proses pendeteksian dan pengenalan, maka dirancang sebuah program aplikasi pendeteksian dan pengenalan yang telah diimplementasi dengan metode Color Histogram. Program aplikasi ini terdiri dari 5 modul, yaitu modul Main Menu, modul Input File, modul Database Image, modul Recognize, modul Help.
