Abstract

The objective of this research is to get about the effect of work culture, pedagogic competence and work commitment toward task performance at teacher vocational high school Bandar Lampung. The research was conducted using survey method with quantitative approach. The reach population in this research is 510 at teacher vocational high school. Research sample were selected as mush as 84 teacher using proportional random sampling technique. The data obtained with questionnaires and analyzed using pasth analysis tecniques. The finding show that work culture, pedagogic competence and work comitment have positive direct effect toward tast performance. Work culture have positive direct effect toward work commitment, and pedagogic competence have positive direct effect toward work commitment.

Abstract

The study is aimed at getting empirical evidences about direct and indirect influence of supportive leadership, trust and responsibility variables on the performance of Section Chief of District Education Office in Jakarta. Approach and method of this research is quantitative and descriptive correlation analysis with pathway analysis model. Simple random sampling is done to select 30 out of 42 Chiefs of District Education Office. The results showed that supportive leadership has positive direct influence on the performance, responsibility has positive direct influence on the performance, trust also has positive direct influence on performance. Supportive leadership has positive direct influence on responsibility, trust has direct positive influence on responsibility, and supportif leadership has direct positive influence on trust. In conclusion the three independent variables have direct positive influence on the performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the direct effect of the principals’ knowledge of management, the principals’ attitudes, and the effectiveness of Prodira towards school perfomance. This research used the survey method. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and tests. The data analysis was done using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with the approach of path analysis. The results are: (1) the principals’ knowledge of management has a directly positive effect towards the school performance; (2) the principals’ attitudes has a directly positive effect towards the school performance; (3) the effectiveness of Prodira has a directly positive effect towards the school performance; (4) the principals’ knowledge of management has a directly positive effect towards the effectiveness of Prodira; (5) the principals’ attitudes has a directly positive effect towards the effectiveness of Prodira. Also found among the three predictor variables, the effectiveness of Prodira highest effect towards the school performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect job characteristic model, empowerment and motivation of job performance state elementary school operator in east jakarta. this research tried to answer problems about job characteristic model with evidence increasing of service operator school. the research was conducted on job performance state elementary school operator in east jakarta involving of 136 state elementary school operator had been selected from the target populations of 207 state elementary school operator by using quantitative approach with path analysis methods. the research of hypothesis testing show: (1) job characteristic model had a direct effect positif on job performance; (2) empowerment had a direct effect positif on job performance; (3) motivation had a direct effect positif on job performance; (4) job characteristic had a direct effect positif on motivation: (5) empowerment had a direct effect positif on motivation;. therefore to improve the job perfromance state elementary school operator in east jakarta, need to increase job charactersitic model, empowerment and motivation.

Abstract

This research’s aim is to evaluate the performance of academic services at high education of Open University (UT) by using balanced score card. Through evaluation, we will know how good the achievement of UT’s strategic plans that were run to achieve the vision and mission of UT. The perspectives of BSC evaluated at UT’s academic services are as follows (1) customer perspective, (2) financial perspective, (3) internal business perspective and, (4) innovation and learning perspective. The evaluation was done by interviewing, spreading the questioners of 358 respondents and document analysis of the report in 2013 and 2014 of UT’s Rector. The quantitative data processing was using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The evaluation result showed that the performance of Academic Services of UT is in the very good condition (healthy condition), which has A category with 74,11 score of the whole performance. The evaluation result showed that the performance of academic services of UT in a customer perspective in a level of 67,54% of index, while 75,44% of index was on financial perspective, 78,32% of index was on internal business process perspective and 76,61% of index was on learning and growth perspective.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of training, integrity, and self eficacy on the managerial effectiveness of the head of state primary school of Jakarta Provincial Education Office. The survey was conducted in this study with 75 samples of state primary school with random sampling technique. The data were processed with path analysis. The results showed that: (1) training effects positive directly on the managerial effectiveness. (2) Integrity effects positive directly on the managerial effectiveness. (3) Self Eficacy effects positive directly on the managerial effectiveness. (4) Training effects positive directly on Self-efficacy. (5) Integrity effects positive directly on Self-efficacy. (6) Training effects positive directly on Integrity. Based on the findings it can be concluded that in order to improve the managerial effectiveness, it should be increased the teacher’s training, integrity, and Self-efficacy. And to improve the Self-efficacy, it should be increased the teasher’s training and integrity.

Abstract

This research is aimed at analizing: (1) The academic supervision, (2) The intensity of the academic supervision, (3) Evaluation of academic supervision, (4) Follow-up of academic supervision At SMA Negeri 1 Lambitu. This research took place in SMA Negeri 1 Lambitu Bima used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The data were collected through; (1) in-depth interviews, (2) observation, (3) documentation study. Data analysis was performed in three ways: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Then check the validity of data through triangulation of sources, methods and theories. The results showed the changes competence of the teaching profession after the academic supervision, as seen in changing patterns of teaching in the classroom, learning preparation tools, teachers become more motivated to develop their potential, increasing teachers' confidence and be able to do professional duties better.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the effect of the cultural organization, leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior lecturer in the Christian University of Indonesia. Quantitative approach used in this research with survey method. The samples of this research were one hundred and thirty one teachers and student selected randomly. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaire and analyzed by using path analysis. The result of the research can be conclude that: (1) the culture organization, leadership and job satisfaction had a positive direct effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB); (2) the culture organizational and leadership had a positive direct effect on task job satisfaction. Thus, the steakholders on campus UKI need to take concrete steps to ensure that in a campus environment with a culture and values that guarantee the existence of the Christian University of Indonesia campus in the future.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the effect of the principal leadership, school culture, and task commitment to quality of service vocational high school teachers in the Bogor region. Quantitative approach used in this research with survey method. The samples of this research were one hundred and thirty one teachers and student selected randomly. The research was conducted on quality of service teacher involving samples of 194 teacher had been selected from the target population of 131 teacher in the Bogor Region by using quantitative approach with path analysis methodes. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaire and analyzed by using path analysis. The result of the research can be conclude that: 1) the principal leadership, school culture and task commitment had a positive direct effect on quality of service teacher; 2) the principal leadership and shool culture had a positive direct effect on task commitment teacher.Therefore to improve quality of service, the principal leadership, school culture, and task commitment should be improved vocational high school teachers in the Bogor region . Implications and limitations of the study are discussed along with suggestions for future research.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the hypothesis whether managerial effectiveness is affected by organizational culture, entrepreneurial personality, and trust pertaining in an organization. This study used survey method with four questionnaires to collect the data and Path statistical technique to analyze them. This causal study involved 80 Branch Managers of the Practical Education Center as the sample. They were randomly selected from the overall population of 207 branches in the areas of Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. The result revealed that there was positive direct effects of (1) the organizational culture toward the managerial effectiveness; (2) the entrepreneurial personality toward the managerial effectiveness; (3) the level of trust toward the managerial effectiveness; (4) the organizational culture toward the level of trust; (5) the entrepreneurial personality toward the level of trust. It implies that the managerial effectiveness of the branch managers can be improved by enhancing the implementation of organizational culture, developing the entrepreneurial personality and improving the level of trust in the company.
