Abstract

This research’s aim is to evaluate the performance of academic services at high education of Open University (UT) by using balanced score card. Through evaluation, we will know how good the achievement of UT’s strategic plans that were run to achieve the vision and mission of UT. The perspectives of BSC evaluated at UT’s academic services are as follows (1) customer perspective, (2) financial perspective, (3) internal business perspective and, (4) innovation and learning perspective. The evaluation was done by interviewing, spreading the questioners of 358 respondents and document analysis of the report in 2013 and 2014 of UT’s Rector. The quantitative data processing was using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The evaluation result showed that the performance of Academic Services of UT is in the very good condition (healthy condition), which has A category with 74,11 score of the whole performance. The evaluation result showed that the performance of academic services of UT in a customer perspective in a level of 67,54% of index, while 75,44% of index was on financial perspective, 78,32% of index was on internal business process perspective and 76,61% of index was on learning and growth perspective.

Abstract

The research is conducted at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of DKI Jakarta III to obtain information on the effect of training, quality assurance, pedagogic competence, and self-efficacy towards lecturers’ job effectiveness. The research used 60 out of 145 lecturers as the population selected using simple random sampling. The research is conducted by using a method of causal with path analysis. The result of the research showed that: (1). there is a direct positive effect of training on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (2) there is a direct effect quality assurance on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (3) there is a direct effect of pedagogic competence on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (4) there is a direct effect of self-efficacy on lecturers’ job effectiveness. Therefore, job effectiveness of Health Polytechnic lecturers of the Ministry of Health Jakarta III can be enhanced by carrying out training, quality assurance, pedagogic competence, and self-efficacy.

Abstract

Collaborative skills merupakan kompetensi atau keahlian yang harus dimiliki olehseseorang di abad 21. Sementara itu kompetensi pedagogik merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang wajib dikuasai oleh seorang guru berkenaan dengan karakteristik peserta didik dilihat dari berbagai aspek fisik, moral, sosial, kultural, emosional, dan intelektual. Oleh karena itu diharapkan kedua hal ini dapat berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja siswa. Collaborative skills dan kompetensi pedagogik guru dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja siswa. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh collaborative skills terhadap kinerja siswa; (2) Mengetahui pengaruhkompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap kinerja siswa; dan (3) Mengetahui pengaruh antara collaborative skills dan kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap kinerja siswa Sekolah Dasar di Gugus 10 Kecamatan Pamulang. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling sehingga menghasilkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 orang. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil deskripsi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial (uji t): (1) variabel collaborative skills (X1) berpengaruh terhadap kinerjasiswa (Y) dengan nilai thitung = 2,233 atau 22,33 % lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ttabel = 2,012. Artinya, bahwa variabel collaborative skills berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja siswa. (2) Variabel kompetensi pedagogikguru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja siswa (Y) dengan nilai t hitung= 4,239 atau 42,39 % lebih besar dari ttabel = 2,012. (3) Hasil uji hipotesis secara simultan (uji F) collaborative skills dan kompetensi pedagogik guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja siswa dengan nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel sebesar 3,20 atau 17, 058 > 3,20. Koefisien determinasi (adjused 𝑅2) 0,431 atau 43,1%, dan sisanya sebesar 56,9% merupakan kontribusi variabel bebas lainnya.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu organisasi pendidikan atau universitas dalam mencapai tujuannya erat kaitannya dengan kualitas  pembelajaran daringyang sedang dilaksanakan. Tujuan untukkeberhasilan  tersebut dapat   dicapai  dengan cara memuaskan para akademisi yang masih  aktif. Studi  kasus menggunakan Forum media social dan komentar YouTube sebagai pengolahan  data  untuk  memprediksi kepuasan  pembelajaran  online di  Universitas  Terbuka. Pendekatan text mining adalah alternatif yang baik untuk menafsirkan makna komentar yang dibuat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis prediksi kepuasan layanan dari beberapa kategori. Salah satu tolok   ukurnya   yang dilakukan adalah moderasi komentar  Forum  dan  YouTube.  Metode   penelitian  yang  digunakan   adalah   empat algoritma klasifikasi machine learning dan dua algoritma Deep Learning yaitu Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine, K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Trees, dan Logistic Regresi, pembelajaran mendalam (Deep Learning) untuk akurasi prediksi. Total kumpulan data awal mencakup 801 data yang dikumpulkan dari 1 Oktober 2023 hingga 31 Oktober 2023. Pembersihan dan pra-pemrosesan selanjutnya menghasilkan total 249 data. Kemudian dievaluasi akurasinya dengan menerapkan algoritma klasifikasi pohon keputusan, akurasi tertinggi pada pengelolaan  data komentar Forum dan Youtube dengan nilai  akurasi tertinggi 92,0 % dengan menerapkan algoritma Decision Tree.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the efforts and strategies carried out by SLB to meet national education standards in order to improve school accreditation. This research used a quantitative approach with a total of 234 respondents from 34 special schools in the Padang City and DI Yogyakarta areas who were selected using purposive sampling. The data source for this research is primary data with data collection techniques through filling out questionnaires and FGDs. The research data that has been collected is carried out through SPSS analysis. The research was conducted from February to October 2023. The results of the research show that management standards, financing standards, facilities and infrastructure standards as well as standards for educators and education personnel provide a positive and significant influence on strategies for increasing SLB accreditation, while content standards, process standards, standards graduate competencies and assessment standards do not have a positive and significant influence on strategies for increasing SLB accreditation. However, it is known that each educational standard is related to other educational standards, so it is necessary to carry out various standard optimizations so that each educational standard can be implemented optimally to obtain optimal accreditation results.

Abstract

Media sosial TikTok dan Twitter (X) merupakan dua media sosial yang memiliki banyak pengguna di Indonesia. Berdasarkan lembaga survei We Are Social pengguna TikTok di Indonesia mencapai 109.9 juta sedangkan pengguna Twitter (X) di Indonesia mencapai 24 juta. Media sosial TikTok dan Twitter (X) seringkali menjadi tempat untuk menyampaikan pendapat atau komentar terhadap suatu hal. Universitas Terbuka merupakan suatu kampus yang memiliki media sosial TikTok dan Twitter (X) dengan ribuan pengikut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat layanan bidang akademik dan non-akademik Universitas Terbuka. Data yang dianalisis sebanyak 685 data komentar pada media sosial TikTok dan Twitter (X) dengan kata kunci Universitas Terbuka. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis menggunakan model pre-trained BERT. Pada model ini diperoleh nilai akurasi sebesar 90% dengan proporsi data latih dan data uji 80:20.

Abstract

Terbuka University is a leading institution that implements the optimization of digital transformation, especially in distance learning systems. To improve the quality of service to students and stakeholders, Terbuka University has developed the Terbuka University Digital Learning Materials application. This application offers several learning modules that can be accessed through the Google Play Store. This research aims to classify data using different labels related to reviews of the Terbuka University Digital Learning Materials application using the Long Short-Term Memory classification algorithm. Evaluation is conducted to find accuracy, f1-score, precision, and recall values. The research results show that classification with Long Short-Term Memory achieves an accuracy of 76.72% with the Vader label, and the accuracy with the TextBlob label reaches 74.21%. Confusion matrix evaluation shows precision results of 0.91 and recall of 0.78, with an f1-score of 0.84 for the Vader label. For the TextBlob label, the precision is 0.96, recall is 0.45, and the f1-score is 0.61. This research contributes positively to understanding the evaluation and classification of reviews of the Terbuka University Digital Learning application. Implementing the Long Short-Term Memory algorithm with the Vader label can be an effective choice to improve service and learning quality through the application.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan analisis dampak variabel motivasi, kedisiplinan dan lingkungan sekolah pada prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian survei, melibatkan siswa dari beberapa sekolah dasar sebagai responden. Metodologi riset ini memakai  penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel senbanyak 80 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan  software  SPSS 20 untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Merujuk  pada hasil analisis, diperoleh hasil: (1) prestasi belajar siswa terdampak positif  dari motivasi  siswa; (2) prestasi belajar terdampak positif dari variabel disiplin siswa; (3) presatasi belajar terdampak positif dari  variabel lingkungan sekolah. Riset ini memberi simpulan: variabel motivasi, lingkungan sekolah, kedisiplinan siswa secara parsial berdampak positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SD  di kecamatan Sungai Lala kabupaten Indragiri provinsi Riau. Dalam riset selanjutnya, perlu dilakukan riset pada variabel yang berdampak pada siswa yang lain.

Abstract

Learning local content builds national character, because it pays attention to environmental characteristics and local culture. This study aims to determine the application of character education to students based on local wisdom in the Riau Malay learning process. This research is ethnographic and qualitative with the principal, 7 class teachers, and students as subjects. The research instrument consists of observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study have been carried out well based on local wisdom in Malay culture learning at SDN 183 Pekanbaru including being religious, honest, disciplined, social care, responsibility, environmental care, independent and respectful.

Abstract

How well teachers do their jobs in the classroom has a direct bearing on how well their pupils do in school. In order to determine whether pupils are ready to join the commercial and industrial sector, the efficacy of their teachers is essential. Improving the efficiency of educators has a bearing on the quality of the human capital developed via schools. In order to better understand how teacher motivation affects performance, how discipline affects performance, and how principal leadership affects performance, this research will examine all three of these factors. Furthermore, the research evaluates the impact of principal leadership, teacher motivation, and disciplinary measures on student outcomes. The participants in this quantitative study were 295 educators from Banyuasin I District's State Elementary School. We used a simple random selection strategy to identify 75 instructors for our sample. Data collection was conducted through the administration of questionnaires, which were subsequently subjected to analysis via multiple linear regression methodologies. The influence of principal leadership exhibited a partial positive correlation with teacher performance, while teacher discipline also demonstrated a partial positive correlation with teacher performance; conversely, teacher motivation revealed no discernible partial impact on teacher performance. Furthermore, it was determined that principal leadership, discipline, and motivation collectively exerted a significant influence on student achievement.
