Abstract

This research was aimed to evaluating the degree program educates in leading regions, outermost and underdeveloped country at the University of Jakarta. This study uses CIPPO evaluation consisting of components Context, Input, Process, Product and Outcomes. This research using kuantitative methodology and data analysis technique used is descriptive by analyzing the data within each component method CIPPO collected from interviews, observations, questionnaires, study documents and photographs. Results of the study: (1) Background policy, objectives and targets of the program SM-3T whole aspect has demonstrated the Jakarta State University to meet the standards as LPTK organizers SM-3T; (2) The work program, qualified instructors and staff education and infrastructure have been met, while for the financing aspects LPTKs not meet the standards as program organizers SM-3T; (3) The implementation of preconditions in the field, and the implementation of programs in the field in accordance with the provisions of the guidelines of the program SM-3T while the program management of the sub-aspect cooperation with the other parties have not been successful; (4) Competence of graduates of the program and mark the graduation program have been met in full; (5) The impact is felt by participants of the program gives a lot of positive things but not give certainty about the fate of the program participants who have passed.

Abstract

This research’s aim is to evaluate the performance of academic services at high education of Open University (UT) by using balanced score card. Through evaluation, we will know how good the achievement of UT’s strategic plans that were run to achieve the vision and mission of UT. The perspectives of BSC evaluated at UT’s academic services are as follows (1) customer perspective, (2) financial perspective, (3) internal business perspective and, (4) innovation and learning perspective. The evaluation was done by interviewing, spreading the questioners of 358 respondents and document analysis of the report in 2013 and 2014 of UT’s Rector. The quantitative data processing was using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The evaluation result showed that the performance of Academic Services of UT is in the very good condition (healthy condition), which has A category with 74,11 score of the whole performance. The evaluation result showed that the performance of academic services of UT in a customer perspective in a level of 67,54% of index, while 75,44% of index was on financial perspective, 78,32% of index was on internal business process perspective and 76,61% of index was on learning and growth perspective.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of training, integrity, and self eficacy on the managerial effectiveness of the head of state primary school of Jakarta Provincial Education Office. The survey was conducted in this study with 75 samples of state primary school with random sampling technique. The data were processed with path analysis. The results showed that: (1) training effects positive directly on the managerial effectiveness. (2) Integrity effects positive directly on the managerial effectiveness. (3) Self Eficacy effects positive directly on the managerial effectiveness. (4) Training effects positive directly on Self-efficacy. (5) Integrity effects positive directly on Self-efficacy. (6) Training effects positive directly on Integrity. Based on the findings it can be concluded that in order to improve the managerial effectiveness, it should be increased the teacher’s training, integrity, and Self-efficacy. And to improve the Self-efficacy, it should be increased the teasher’s training and integrity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of information technology using toward the effectiveness of school management, the effect of work motivation of principle toward the effectiveness of school management, management, the effect of joint information technology using, work motivation of principle, the performance of principle toward the effectiveness of school management. The method of this study uses survey method, with a population of affordability of 60 units of State Junior High Schools of Kalimantan Timur. As conclusion of this study that is using information technology, work motivation of principle,and the performance of principle has a positive effect toward the effectiveness of school management, there is a positive effect of joint information technology using, work motivation, the performance of principle on the effectiveness of school management , the effectiviness of school management can be increased through the information technology,work motivation of principle and performance of principle.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the risk management certification program for the administrator and officer of comercial bank in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Surabaya Area. The evaluation focused on urgency, design, planning, implementation, outcome and impact of risk management certification program. Qualitative approach used in this research with program evaluation design. Program evaluation used in this researh is discrepansy model. Data collecting in-depth interview, orbservation and docemantation study. Interview conducted with administrator and official of commercial bank as a key informant. Data analyzed quantitatively stage, that is data reduction, data display, and conclussion drawing. Based on the findings, then be concluded that aspect of generally urgency, design, planning, implementation, outcome and impact of risk management certification program meet or in accordance with the criteria that established to evaluted risk management certification program. Only aspect evaluation and supervisory from the central bank of the Republic of Indonesia as program owner that not in accordance with the criteria. Therefore, risk management certification program must be continued and take improving on evaluation and supervisory aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of leadership, school climate, and management effectiveness, toward teacher performance in Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Bekasi city. This research tries to answer the problems about teacher performance to increase of learning quality. The research was conducted on teacher performance involving samples of 120 teachers that had been selected from the target population of 285 teachers by using quantitative approach with path analysis method. The research tests hypothesis: (1) leadership had a direct positive effect on teacher performance; (2) school climate had a direct positive effect on compotence of pedagogic; (3) management effectiveness had a direct positive effect on teacher performance; (4) leadership had a direct positive effect on management effectiveness; (5) school climate had a direct positive effect on management effectiveness. Therefore, to improve the teacher performance of madrasah tsnawiyah in city Bekasi, who need to increase the leadership of principal, the school climate, and the management effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose in this research is to obtain the discription of modern boarding school management as a sistem with socio-cultural basis in Daar el-Qolam Islamic Boarding School. This research is a qualitative research with case study using a sistem approach and using Miles and Huberman model including the data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verivication. Data collection for study was carried out by means of interviews and observation towards several respondents i.e principal, teachers, administrators, students, students parents, principal family, and the office of Ministery of Relegion. The result of this research showed that management sistem input represented in the profile. That Daar el-Qolam Boarding School is adaptist in profile. The process of management represented by dinamic, where as Daar el-Qolam Islamic Boarding School is multietnic in leadership pattern. The output of management sistem represented in graduates and publics apprecation. Where Daar el-Qolam Islamic Boarding School on their life skills. The environmental of management sistem represented in socio culture, where as Daar el-Qolam with multicultures has balance achievements between relegion and general field of study including language skills.

Abstract

This research is aimed at analizing: (1) The academic supervision, (2) The intensity of the academic supervision, (3) Evaluation of academic supervision, (4) Follow-up of academic supervision At SMA Negeri 1 Lambitu. This research took place in SMA Negeri 1 Lambitu Bima used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The data were collected through; (1) in-depth interviews, (2) observation, (3) documentation study. Data analysis was performed in three ways: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Then check the validity of data through triangulation of sources, methods and theories. The results showed the changes competence of the teaching profession after the academic supervision, as seen in changing patterns of teaching in the classroom, learning preparation tools, teachers become more motivated to develop their potential, increasing teachers' confidence and be able to do professional duties better.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the effect of the cultural organization, leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior lecturer in the Christian University of Indonesia. Quantitative approach used in this research with survey method. The samples of this research were one hundred and thirty one teachers and student selected randomly. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaire and analyzed by using path analysis. The result of the research can be conclude that: (1) the culture organization, leadership and job satisfaction had a positive direct effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB); (2) the culture organizational and leadership had a positive direct effect on task job satisfaction. Thus, the steakholders on campus UKI need to take concrete steps to ensure that in a campus environment with a culture and values that guarantee the existence of the Christian University of Indonesia campus in the future.

Abstract

The objective of this causal research was to obtain information concerning the effect of quality of worklife, reward, and self efficacy on managerial effectiveness of the principals of private high school in east Jakarta. The research was conducted by using a survey method with path analysis in testing hypothesis. In this research, principals of private high school has been choosen as a unit analysis and 66 samples of principals were selected in random. The results of the research are as follows; (1) there is a direct positive effect of quality of worklife on managerial effectiveness, (2) there is a direct positive effect of reward on managerial effectiveness, (3) there is a direct positive effect of self efficacy on managerial effectiveness, (4) there is a direct positive effect of quality of worklife on self efficacy, (5) there is a direct positive effect of reward on self efficacy. Therefore, to improve managerial effectiveness, Private school foundations should gives more attention to the fulfillment of the needs of facilities and infrastructure in schools. Principals should more adaptive in response to the changes. School principals should be able to compensate for changes in education that is so dynamic and managing changes to improve the quality of school.
