Abstract

Ziarah qubur is the sunnah worship by Prophet Muhammad, either a family grave or the clergy, auliya’, and shalaf al-Salih who have died. The behavior of ziarah qubur is interested to be studied because it seems to be a trend for people who have interest in popolar culture. Popular culture is often regarded as a product or cultural practices with low taste. This refers to the view that popular culture is a commercial culture as a result of mass production and industrialization so that it can be a lifestyle. This study aimed to answer the extent to which the publics understanding of the ziarah qubur in Kendal regency. Through interviews and observation, this qualitative research led to the conclusion that ziarah qubur became a tradition, entertainment and ziarah motivation. The results of this research could develop in a more diverse results if developed on a broader subject.

Abstract

16th century Javanese Muslim is like a newcomer in a large family called the Islamic civilization. At the same time, the Ottoman Empire at that time the great empire which emphasized Islam as a source of law is the only manifestation of the Islamic Caliphate remained. Is a must, Javanese Muslims who had entered the Islamic civilization met with the Ottoman Empire. Meetings that occur through several channels including the Hajj, political, trade and networking all these scientists actually have the benefit of both nations. Java clerics who are part of the community of clerics Jawi is the pioneer generation of meeting the other two nations in the continent.

Abstract

The purpose of the research were to analyze the level of achievement of islamic management on beef cattle development program of Lembaga Mandiri Mengakar Masyarakat in Pondok Pesantren Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka-Sulawesi Tenggara Case. The research was conducted January 2012-January 2016. Independent agencies are Rooted in the Community in Pondok Pesantren Al Mawaddah Warrahmah as respondent were selected. The data were statistically analyzed by descriptive analysis to analyze the achievement of the program. The result showed that the achievement level of amount of beef was high in periode 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 (75, 78.5, 75, and 88.88 % respectively), number of farmer was low (100, 100, 100, and 57.4% respectively) from its target, profit sharing was high (Rp.10.425.000, Rp.16.700.000, Rp.17.500.000, dan Rp.21.025.000).). That can be concluded that program of independent agencies are rooted in the community (LM3) in Pondok Pesantren Al Mawaddah Warrahmah case is effective.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the significance effect of financial ratios toward sharia stock return on companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) either simultaneously or partially. Sample in this study is 12 (twelve) companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) period of 2011-2015. The analysis model in this study using multiple linear regression analysis model and analysis techniques to test the hypothesis using the F test, t test, and R2 test. The results of testing hypothesis and discussion is Return On Asset (ROA), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning Per Share (EPS) simultaneously have significant effect toward sharia stock return. Earning Per Share (EPS) partially have positive and no significant effect toward sharia stock return, Return On Asset (ROA)  partially have positive and significant effect toward sharia stock return, and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) partially have negative and significant effect toward sharia stock return.

Abstract

The policy on tourism development program of Surakarta especially on the calendar of the event takes advantage from religious tradition as tourism commodity. The purpose of this study is to describe the religious tradition haul, the programs by the tourism department of Surakarta, and how commodification through a well implemented marketing communications process, messaging, and other media, as well as responses from the audience regarding the marketing of haul tradition in general toward creating a leading tourism object. Haul which is a tradition for commemorating the death of clerics (ulama) who are followed by some local communities in Surakarta, especially those in Pasar Kliwon Regency, is utilized in tourism. Through critical study, the cultural values that are supposed to be preserved, changed into marketing values to attract visitors. The used media are the advertisement and the calendar of events. The local community gain advantages economically from this policy, but they object to it socio-culturally. Meanwhile, the tourists are generally interested in haul tradition.
