Abstract

AbstractNot quarantee RSBI students have good achievement in academic and be succes people if they do not have motivation in it. Achievement motivation is one factor to hold academic achievement that can be influenced by student self concept.The purpose of this study was to examine the relation between self concept and achievement motivation. How percentage self concept role emerge achievement motivation.            The result of this study is founded significant correlation between self concept and achievement motivation. 13,3% self concept play role in RSBI students’ achievement motivation and 35,4% in Reguler students’ achievement motivation. In other, there is differences between RSBI students’ self concept and Reguler students’ self concept. Despite there is no differences achievement motivation between RSBI and reguler students.Key Word: self concept, motivation

Abstract

AbstractRSBI is project to empowering the of educational institution, especially in the medium grade  school with international standart. Some  students know that’s  program have available for them to increasing their skills like  any competitive advantages and comparative advantages, afther they graduated from teaching and learning process on the international standart school. But until now the establishment of  many internationals school still have some problems, like in the  funding, management, quality and  the other  problems . In Metro City  that’s really problems so that many school   especially in Islamic teaching or Islamic instructional, for religions teacher,  RSBI is the challenge for the to increasing their competence, for example the problem of instructional comtptence because RSBI needs some aspect of teacher’s competence like the English language, and information technology. For Islamic teacher that is become the problem because they must be prepared them to be qualified theacher in international school.Key Word:  RSBI and Religon instructional, academic competence and qualified of education.

Abstract

Memiliki akhlak yang mulia merupakan tujuan pendidikan Islam yang paling tinggi. Untuk itu Setiap guru khususnya guru pendidikan agama Islam memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memberikan pembinaan akhlak pada para siswanya sehingga dapat melahirkan generasi cerdas yang menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta berakhlakul karimah. Penelitian di SMK Ganesa Metro menunjukka bahwa walaupun guru PAI telah berperan cukup baik dalam pembinaan akhlak siswanya, namun banyak siswa di SMK tersebut berakhlak kurang baik. Berdasarkan observasi partisipasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, ditemukan beberapa kendala yang dihadapi guru PAI dalam melakukan perannya sebagai pembina akhlak siswa SMK Ganesa Metro yaitu kurangnya kemauan dalam diri siswa untuk memperbaiki dirinya. Di sisi lain ada beberapa guru yang kurang mendukung upaya guru PAI, teman pergaulan siswa, dan kurangnya perhatian orang tua siswa.Keywords: Akhlak, guru PAI, siswa

Abstract

AbstrakSungguh sangat mengejutkan dan di luar dugaan, ketika data yang ditemukan di lapangan, banyak sekali pejabat di legislatif, eksekutif dan bahkan penegak hukum yang terkait masalah korupsi. Pada hal jika dilihat dari regulasi tentang anti korupsi yang ada di negara Indonesia sangat banyak, jelas dan tegas. Bahkan ada larangan bagi pejabat untuk menerima apapun yang berkaitan dengan jabatan yang diembannya. Dari beberapa kasus yang sudah terungkap, penyebabnya berawal dari hadiah yang diberikan oleh pihak yang berkepentingan kepada pejabat bersangkutan. Di zaman Rasulullah ada perbedaan yang tegas antara hadiah/pemberian biasa dengan pemberian/hadiah kepada pejabat.  Hadis Rasulullah melarang pejabat menerima hadiah atau pemberian dari seseorang yang berkaitan dengan tugas yang diembannya. Ketentuan itu antisipatif agar pejabat tidak melakukan penyelewenangan terhadap amanah yang diembannya, ancaman hukumannya adalah gulul, dan laknat. Sementara langkah kuratif, semua hadiah yang diterima oleh pejabat harus dikembalikan kepada negara, jika yang bersangkutan tidak mau ada pengambilan paksa. Hukuman lain adalah tidak diberi kepercayaan untuk memegang amanah apapun. Jika merujuk kepada hadis dan realitas pada masa itu, apa yang dilakukan Rasul dapat dijadikan untuk penangan masalah korupsi di Indonesia.Kata Kunci : Hadiah,  Pejabat, Korupsi, Hadis Rasul

Abstract

This research is aimed at identifying what difficulties the students have in doing the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test; a standardized test to measure a person’s global English competence. To solve the problems, Mind Map technique, a process of mapping the mind to correlate the certain problems from the neuron cells forming the concept correlation into an understanding and the results is directly expressed in a piece of paper, with an animation that is easily understood by the maker, was implemented. Therefore, this research is also aimed at finding out whether the implementation of Mind Map technique can increase the students’ competence in doing the TOEFL test.This technique was applied on the basis of the single-group-design experiment, where the research was conducted in one group only. Drawn as one group pre-test + post-test: O1  X  O2, this design tries to use the subjects as controls for themselves and omits the control group. This design is also called ‘repeated measures’ design because the subjects are measured two times at its dependent variable. The treatment was conducted 8 times, one pre-test and one post-test. The data was analyzed by using t-test to know the difference between the early and final ability.Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that Mind Map technique can increase the subjects’ ability to do the TOEFL test so that their scores can also increase. The results of the analysis shows that the index of tobserved is -11,621 or tabsolute 11,621, higher than the index of ttable at df 30 and significance level of 5%, that is 2,042. Meanwhile, the difficulties the students have include the difficulties in matching the limited test time duration, identifying the pronunciation at listening section, mastering the grammar and vocabulary, as well as understanding the reading text content. The subjects also have positive perception toward the implementation of this technique to increase their ability in doing the test. They consider that Mind Map technique can help them do the test guided, systematically, and enjoyable.

Abstract

Terorisme dan Negara Islam Indonesia (NII) sampai saat ini menjadi tema hangat di berbagai media. Kedua masalah ini menjadi perhatian serius pemerintah, karena keduanya mengganngu kehidupan masyarakat dan mengancam stabilitas pemerintahan dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.Pemerintah berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk menanggulangi aksi terorisme dan gerakan NII. Berbagai cara dan pendekatan telah dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini. Pendekatan hukum sebagai upaya pemberantasan melalui penyelidikan, penyidikan, penyidangan, dan eksekusi terhadap para pelaku teror di Indonesia telah dilakukan. Bahkan pemerintah sekarang mulai menempuh cara pencegahan dengan membentuk Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT).Mengenai gerakan NII, pemerintah juga berupaya melalui berbagai langkah. Di antaranya melalui kordinasi berbagai Kementerian dan departemen. Mulai dari Kementerian Pertahanan dan Keamanan, Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia, Kementerian Agama, sampai Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional. Pelibatan Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional memang sangat penting dan tepat, mengingat selama ini jaringan gerakan NII sangat berkaitan dengan lembaga pendidikan. Dari berbagai kasus yang muncul selama ini, pola perekrutan anggota baru NII melalui Sekolah Menegah Atas dan Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the difference between problem solving skill of students by using the contextual teaching learning and conventional learning.            It is an experiment research. There are groups of the samples in this research, they are experiment and control groups. The experiment group learns the mathematics by using contextual teaching learning, while the control group learns the mathematics by using conventional learning. To get the data of this research, the researcher uses two kinds of instruments; test and observation. The subjects of this research are the students of PGMI STAIN Jurai Siwo in the fourth semester of the academic year 2009/2020.            The result of this research is obtained after the treatments are given in experiment and control group. The result is there are significant difference between the students who learn mathematics by using contextual teaching learning and conventional learning.Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that problem solving skill of students by using the contextual teaching learning is very different from conventional learning. In this research, it is known that the students who learn mathematics by using the contextual teaching learning are better than the students who learn by using conventional learning. They can build their knowledge actively, so they can find the concept or procedure of the mathematics (inquiry) by themselves. By this inquiry process, the students’ understanding about mathematics is more meaningful.Kata kunci: Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), and Problem Solving skill.
