Abstract

The problem of multiculturalism is the problem of our civilization. Indonesia with all its differences and cultural richness is one of the countries that has the potential for horizontal conflict. The efforts to unite and maintain unity must be three steps ahead of the threat of disintegration. The disruption era that is completely unpredictable and hoaxes and hate speech on social media makes it difficult to maintain security and maintain a conducive, harmonious and peaceful situation. Hostile with the others is not tradition of Nusantara people. Our tradition is a dialogue as well as strengthening the harmony of every difference. In this case, the Prophet Muhammad and the Walisongo have set a good example of living side by side with different communities. This article will discuss the strategies of the Walisongo in dialogue between religion and culture, as well as the strategy of the Prophet Mohammed in managing differences and building harmony in a pluralistic society. The results of the study conclude that to build a nation that is baldatun thayyibah wa Rabbun ghafur, it is necessary to have a society that is not only saleh ritual, but also saleh sosial and saleh kultural.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of the preacher in bringing changes to the social conditions of the people who used to work in the Dadapan prostitution localization, Kediri City. Da'i plays an important role as a propagator of religion to protect the community. Thus, the relationship between the preacher and his community must be close regardless of the background or social conditions of the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and is equipped with George Homans' social exchange theory, namely as an analytical tool to understand and seek clarity of cases so that researchers know more clearly about the phenomenon of da'wah in the ex-Dadapan localization community. The results of this study conclude that the da'wah process that occurs in Dadapan Village in social exchange theory explains that they are willing to interact when the interaction produces benefits for themselves. Therefore, in the dynamics of increasing religious understanding in the ex-Dadapan localization, it is necessary to have a reward given so that people want to interact in discussing religious studies.

Abstract

New Student Admission, hereinafter abbreviated as PPDB, is stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51 of 2018, carried out based on the principles of non-discrimination, objective, transparent, accountable and fair. One of them is implemented with the PPDB zoning system policy. The New Student Admission (PPDB) zoning system raises a number of impacts. In practice, SMAN 1 Srengat has encountered several effects that have arisen since the implementation of the PPDB zoning system. Among them are the random input of students and the low enthusiasm for learning in students who are accepted through the zoning route without any selection with qualifications based on the acquisition of learning outcomes at the previous level. This research tries to review overcoming the problems of the teaching and learning process after the implementation of the zoning system PPDB policy at SMAN 1 Srengat. So that it can be seen that, in response to the implementation of the PPDB policy of the zoning system which generates random input and raises problems in the spirit of learning, SMAN 1 Srengat implements innovation and development of transformative and comprehensive student coaching.

Abstract

Traditional games are increasingly losing place in children’s hearts as information-technology advances. Children prefer modern online-based games that can be accessed at any time via gadgets. Although some online games provide a chat feature that allows communication between users (children), children still cannot make direct contact. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using traditional games in improving children’s social behavior. This study uses an experimental design method. Researchers compared the scores of children’s social behavior before and after participating in traditional Javanese games. The research was conducted at Mojoranu I Kindergarten, Bojonegoro. Data were collected by means of observation using research instruments for 19 days of observation. Then, to analyze the data, the researchers use data triangulation involving the results of observation scores, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the average score of children’s social behavior before playing Javanese traditional games was 20.83 while the average score after playing Javanese traditional games was 39.11. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that traditional Javanese games are effective in improving children’s social behavior. Parents and/or teachers can use traditional games as a tool to improve children's social skills.

Abstract

There was a significant increase in the number of new students at IAINTulungagung who chose to participate at the Tahfidz program as acompulsory program that they had to carry out every Monday until Thursdaystarts from 07.00 to 08.30 am. This article outlines the motivation ofstudents to take part in the tahfidz program in the dirasat al-Qur’an IAINTulungagung program, and outlines the role of that motivation for achievingthe target of tahfidz program students in the dirasat al-Qur'an IAINTulungagung. It was concluded that the types of student motivation wereintrinsic and extrinsic. The majority of informants (83.3%) had the intrinsicmotivation and had considerable attention to memorization activities, bothunda’an and muroja’ah. The majority of informants also have a solution tothe obstacles they face in memorizing. Related to the role of motivation, themajority of informants (83.3%) have the fluctuating motivation, they(87.5%) also aware of the targets set by the Tahfidz program.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrispikan dan menganalisis pemahaman masyarakat di Kabupaten Banjar Kalimantan Selatan tentang harta perpantangan yang dikategorikan sebagai fiqih responsif gender yang lahir dari pemikiran ulama setempat abad XVIII, Syekh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari. Data dikumpulkan pada tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Banjar Kalimantan Selatan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi non partisipatoris serta telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat Banjar tentang harta perpantangan dewasa ini terbagi menjadi dua; di tingkat ulama-ulama yang sering membantu penyelesaian sengketa, substansi dan dasar pemikiran yang melatarbelakangi kelahirannya dipahami dengan baik, namun kedudukannya lebih dipahami sebagai hukum adat daripada ijtihad fiqih, sedangkan masyarakat umum khususnya generasi muda kurang mengenal konsep harta perpantangan, baik substansinya, dasar pemikirannya maupun penerapannya karena fiqih kewarisan yang mereka pelajari merujuk pada karya ulama jazirah Arab. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat Banjar tentang konsep fiqih cenderung didominasi oleh fiqih dari ulama jazirah Arab, karena ijtihad ulama setempat yang mengakomodasi lokalitas tidak dipahami sebagai ijtihad fiqih.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to abtain the empiric figure ofthe correlation between leadership style and managerial abilitywith the teachers performance in Tulungagung Regency.The population of this research was all elementary shool teachers.Sample of 60 respondents was drawn by the used of simplerandam sampling technique of Taro Yamane formula.Instruments used to gathering data were questionnaires onteachers performance, leadership style and managerial ablity. The data was analyse by the used of simple, multiple and partialcorrelation and regression.The results of this research were, as followed: (1) that there weresignificant relationship between leadership style, and teachersperformance; (2) that there were significant relationship betweenmanagerial ability and teachers performance; (3) that there weresignificant  relationship between leadership style and managerialability  as they grouped together and teachers performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an valid and reliable test to measure the student’s basic science process skills in elementary school. This is a Research and Development (R&D) study, the research methods used to produce a specific product and test it’s effectiveness. To achieve the objectives, the research carried out in two phases, namely the phase of the instrument development process and psychometric analysis phase. The first phase includes: identifying an objective test; specifying the content/content of tests or describe the science process skill that will be tested; arrange grating instruments including indicators of there spective skills and items per indicator; write the item / items according tothe indicators; and perform expert judgment (to convince the face and content validity). The second phase is a psychometric analysis conducted by placing a pilot test. Results of the study are (1). Conduct the first phase of the development of the test, the result is the compilation of 24 multiple-choice items that have been valid after various appropriate revisions by expert advice.(2) conduct the second phase of the test development which is a psychometric analysis by conducting pilot tests to determine the internal reliability while recognizing the difficulty and discrimination level. Items accepted are those that have a level of difficulty, different power, distribution of answers suited to the ideal criteria. The results of this study phase are 10 items test are accepted as good items (item number 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 23), 13 items were fixed/revised (item number 3, 4, 5, 6 , 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 24), and the first question thrown away/not in use (number 10). Abstract

The human digestive system material is one of the materials which close to the students. However, students cannot know directly without a guide, because of the difficulty to bring a concrete manifestation of the material. Motivation in learning is needed to support the achievement of maximum learning outcomes.The motivation can arise through learning source or learning instrument, for example, multimedia-based learning media. The calculation result of observation showed a higher increase in the experimental class, ie 30 > 27 from the number of calculations observation sheet items. The results of pre-test and post-test showed an average increase that was higher in the experimental class, in amount of 63 (pre-test) and 86.16 (post-test), grade control by 61.52 (pre-test) and 79.30 (post-test). Experimental class showed an increase learning outcomes which is higher than the control class, which is 23.26 > 17.78 fromthe difference between pre-test and post-test.Keywords: Multimedia, Motivation, Result of Study

Abstract

The broke of the sense of humanity, scraped of religious values, the lost of identity of a nation that is one of them the background. The institutions of education that can hopefully deport the distortion of humanity values, preciselyless of implicate maximally reviews their task. In this era, the educations take care of cognitive aspect too, and less to take care of other external potentials.The Educations become less of meaningful, because it just is formalistic and only as transfer of knowledge. In this case, we need a humanistic education, that is a concept of education that help the students found reviews their skills, improve and the next they can actualize.
