Abstract

Abstract. This study examined  the relationship between task oriented leadership style and management of non financial rewards to work motivation at PT.XYZ  Surabaya. Variables measured by the scale of the study variables 4 choices. Research subjects were 62 employees were taken random sampling. Data collected were analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of multiple regression analysis showed variable task oriented leadership style and management on non financial   rewards   associated   significantly  with work motivation (F = 20,911; p = 0,000). Both variables contributed 41,50% of the work motivation. Separately, task oriented leadership style has a highly significant correlation with motivation to work at t = 5,565 amd   p=0,000 ( p< 0,01), non financial rewards management while  significantly    correlated   with   motivation  to  work  with t = 3,997  and  p = 0,000 ( p< 0,01 ).Keywords : task oriented leadership style, management of non financial rewards, work motivation

Abstract

Abstract. The research was aimed to find out the relation of family harmony and self-concept  with adolescent’s delinquency.  The subjects were students from MA Mambaul Ulum in Al-Khairat Foundation and SMK Mambaul Ulum in Mambaul Ulum Foundation, East Java. 162 students completed the questionnaires.Multistage Cluster Sampling by random technique with the characteristic subject was used to determine the sample of the research. The characteristics of the research  subject were: (1) the ages of fourteen and eightteen years-old, (2) living with both of their parents, (3) male or female, (4) not a single child. The instrumens were scale of tendency of adolescent’s delinquency, scale of family harmony, and self-concept scale. The responses of questionnaires used 4- likert point. Data analysis method used in this research was regression analysis. Hypothesis shows that family harmony and self-concept gave contribution to the tendency of adolescent’s delinquency. the result of hypothesis showed that the Family harmony and self concept give a role of adolescent’s delequency tendency. Based on the value of stepwise regression by Multistage Cluster Sampling technic to the data of adolescent’s delequency with family harmony and self-concept found a value of coefficient correlation F-reg = 6,720, p 0,000 < 0,05 and coefficient determinant R2 = 0.152 or 15,2 %. The result was significant so that the hypothesis was accepted. The conclusion is there was the relation of family harmony and self-concept with adolescent ’s delinquency. Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed with determine the correlation between religiusity and self-control with juvenile tendencies. The subjects were 100 students both from SMA Negeri 1 Bancar and SMA Negeri 1 Jatirogo. Sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection instrument used in this study were juvenile delinquency scale , the scale of religiosity and self-control scale refers to the making according to a Likert scale. The results of data analysis using regression Anareg get the F = 17.954 with  p = 0.00 (p < 0.01). Religiusity and self-control variables simultaneously and significantly correlated with delinquency. Partially, it was found the value of t Regression between religiusity and juvenile delinquency  = -3.632, and r = -0.346 partial, with p = 0.000             (p <  0.01), this means that there is a significant negative relationship between religiusity and juvenile delinquency. Partial Test also find the value of t regression between the variables of self-control with juvenile delinquency = -2.737 and         r = -0.268  with a partial p = 0.007 (p < 0.01), this means that there is a significant negative relationship between self-control with juvenile delinquency. Effective contribution of religiusity and self-control variables was 27 % (R square = 0.270).Keywords: Religiusity, Self-Control, Juvenile Delinquency.

Abstract

Abstract. There are a lot of films are screened andvarious games which one liked by children nowadays. Those movies and games which are usually contain a lot of challenges , however  not all of them positive influence. The films and games which contain negative influence can stimulate the child agrgressively, especially the ones which contain violence. Authoritarian parenting is also a factor that affects the aggressiveness of the child. Parental upbringing violent without any compromise can lead to rebellion and an aggressive stance on the aggressive behavior of a child, then the child will be more visible on the child's social relationships . The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting and watching intensity level of aggressiveness of violence against children . The theory used is the social learning theory (social learning theory ) . The approach is using  quantitative research methods . The population was grade 5 of elementary school students . The results showed that there is no  absence relationship between authoritarian parenting and watching intensity level of aggressiveness towards children .  Keywords : authoritarian parenting, watching intensity of violence; child's level of aggressiveness

Abstract. Prosocial behavior is a form of behavior that emerge in social contacts, so that prosocial behavior is an action taken or planned to help others , caring about the motives of the helper . Helping action is fully motivated by their own interests without expecting anything. Prosocial action is more demanding on the high sacrifice of the doer and voluntary or shown to benefit others rather than getting material or social rewards. Prosocial behavior is influenced by many variables , in this study , the researcher linking prosocial behavior with religiosity and empathy . This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between prosocial behavior with religiosity and empathy. The results of this study are expected to provide information for Assembly GKT Hosana Bumi Permai to develop prosocial behavior congregation. Having receached to 64 people of GKT Hosana Bumi Permai shows that together religiosity variables and empathy has a significant corelation with prosocial variables. Religiosity variables have no correlation with Prosocial , whereas empathy variables have significant association with Prosocial variablesKeywords : prosocial behavior, religiosity, empathy

Abstract

Abstract, This study aimed to test whether there is a relationship  of self-efficacy and social support with students adjustment in  learning. Subjects were 123 students of class VII students consisting of 62 men and 61 women taken at random in SMP Negeri 1 Larangan kabupaten Pamekasan. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained for R = 0.759 ; F = 81.600 , p = 0.000 ( p < 0.01 ) . The results of the analysis of this data show self-efficacy and social support of parents jointly associated with the adjustment of students in learning , at 56.9 % . Results of correlation analysis of self-efficacy with self-adjustment of students in the learning acquired partial r = 0.430 ; t = 5.222 and p = 0.000 ( p < 0.01 ) . These data show there is a positive correlation between self-efficacy with self-adjustment of students in learning , with effective contribution of 24.22% . The results of correlation analysis of parent social support with students adjustment in learning obtained partial r = 0.580 ; t = 7.799 and p = 0.000 ( p < 0.01 ) . These data show there is a positive correlation between social support of parents with students adjustment in learning, the effective contribution of 32.68%.Keyword : Adjustment, self efficacy, social support of parents.

Abstract

Abstrak. This study aims to determine the relationship between intrinsic motivation and democratic parenting parents to elementary school children's creativity. Subject of this study is Fifth grade students of Petra 5 Christian Elementary School to 90 students. The results showedthatthere wasa significant correlation between intrinsic motivation and democratic parenting parents to creativity (F = 4.081top=0.023); partially obtained results indicate that intrinsic motivation correlated significant positive towards creativity(t =2.334top=0.024), while between democratic parental parenting variables and creativity did not show anycorrelation(t =0.774top=0.443).Keywords: intrinsic motivation, democratic parenting parents, and creativity.

Abstract

Abstract. The research was conducted to find out the relationship between the perception of Kiai’s leadership and the conformity with the student’s obedience to the Islamic boarding school’s rule. The subject of the research was 115 of the Islamic boarding school’s students at Raudlatul Ulum Arrahmaniyah. The instrument used the obedience scale, perception of Kiai’s leadership scale and conformity scale. analyzing result shows that F value 22,879 and p = 000 (p<0,01), While the result of analyzing determination test shows that the perception to the Kiai’s leadership and conformity give an effective contribution to the student’s obedience to the rule of Islamic boarding school by 23,9 %. Abstract

Abstract. This cross-sectional study empirically examines the motivation and certification as antecedent welfare and performance of teachers and welfare as antecedent performance. Slovin formulation is used to take a sample of 244 teachers. Samples were taken from a population of 624 teachers who are already certified. Testing the model fit using Structural Equation Modeling. The test results demonstrate the value of χ2 = 449.163; p = 0.542; RMSEA = 0.000; GFI = 0.901; AGFI = 0.884; CMN / DF = 0.991; TLI = 1.001, and; CFI = 1.000. Results Analysis of Moment Structures / AMOS all support the model fit hypothesis. The findings of the study stated motivation and certification plays an important role in efforts to enhance the welfare and performance of teachers. Teacher performance can be predicted through the welfare of teachers. The research findings will be discussed in the context of motivational teacher certification program.Keywords: motivation, certification, welfare, performance
