Abstract

Service one door or one stop service (OSS) is a step that can be applied in variousareas in order to increase investment and the one-stop service is expected in reducing thebureaucrat, therefore the process of licensing become shorter. In general, this study aims toimprove the satisfaction of investors who are conducting the licensing process in Semarang.There are 50 employees who are likely to occupy the part of the ministry, therefore thenumber of employees who take the test reach 50 employees who have been appointed by thehead of the Badan Pelayanan Perijinan Terpadu (BPPT). The data analysis uses IPA (Importanceand Performance Analysis). The results showed that (1) employees'IQ in terms of hardskills at Badan Pelayanan Perijinan Terpadu (BPPT) Semarang are in the level of average.The test that has taken showed less score in terms of the pace of work, precise work, jobstability and work endurance. As for soft skills, which are still getting less score is communication,self-confidence, self-control and emotional stability, showing that only 14 employeeswho meet the qualifications for employment services (front desk) that directly deal with therespondent (front desk). (2) Analysis of the level of satisfaction of respondents indicated thatthe services provided to the respondents do not meet the wishes of the respondents as theaverage value of the performance was lower than expectations of respondents. (3) Takinginto account the hard skills and soft skills of employees in the public service model thatsatisfy investors, the satisfaction of investors who are conducting the licensing process canbe increased.

Abstract

The demand for electricity in Indonesia has been escalating rapidly for the pastyears. One of the priorities to fulfill the demand is by developing mini hydro power. However,the potential risk of implementation can arise at any stages of EPC process. XYZ is a EPCcontractor company facing problems in managing risk. The objectives of this study are toidentify risks and measuring the magnitude of the risk and develop effective risk mitigationstrategies. Data analysis was conducted by determining the relative importance index (RII).There are 12 factors (22,64%) were categorized as very significant risks (80 RII 100). Therespondent considers that the level grade in reliability and availability plant are the highest riskfactor. The twelfth rank was taken by inaccuracy of engineers'estimations during the preparationof material take over (MTO)/bill of quantity (BQ). Improvement in the company's humanresources is a major concern of the respondents, because the main weight of the respondent'sassessment of the strategy group was the dominant risk factor based on analitical hyrarchyprocess (AHP).

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) at Semarang expands fastly. A lotof business create larger job opportunity in order to reduce unemployment people. One of theidea on empowering UMKM in information technology era is by establishing central communicationof UMKM based on Website. By making web marketing media, besides it providesinformation about UMKM development in Semarang, it can be functioned to access forany information of production factors. In addition, it can communicate with another UMKMglobally to extend the networks. Web design method uses flowchart system, while its research objectis UMKM which still run its business actively in Semarang. The resulting web is very interactive,it is because the two ways communication between the customer and UMKM, therefore it can buildcustomer community to encourage for purchasing the products in which marketed through web.

Abstract

This research aims to test theoritically of the DLA variables in order to measure theidentity and competitiveness of cooperation. Development Ladder Assesment (DLA) approachapplied in order to decide cooperation identity category at KUD Subur, KPRI BrawijayaUniversity and KWSU BAM at Malang. Methods of analysis using DLA approach with variablevision, capacity, resources, and network, as well as DLA approach with Daniel Cotemodels and ICA ROAP Grid Model. KUD Subur is on the yellow zone means that KUD Suburin performance is generally satisfactory, however there are some indicators that need to beimproved for fixing the organization management. KPRI Brawijaya University and KWSUBAM are at the green zone, it means KPRI Brawijaya University and KWSU BAM performanceare good in terms of vision, capacity, and network resources. Daniel cote modelanalysis, KUD Subur, KPRI Brawijaya University and KWSU BAM in general are in quadrantI. These suggest that cooperatives have been better to implement their identity but stillweak in facing the intensity of the market (competition). Grid Model Analysis, KUD Subur,KPRI UB and KWSU BAM have occupied in quadrant I. It means that the three cooperativescategorize as cooperatives which have identity and able to perform the competition. KUDSubur has a good performance in applying the identity of cooperatives, but still low in doingthe competition. KPRI UB is good in the terms of performance in applying the identity ofcooperatives and fairly in conducting the competition. KWSU BAM applied a very goodperformance in applying the identity of cooperatives and doing well in the competition.

Abstract

Market opportunities for local fruits are still very widely as the growth of publicawareness on fruits consumption. According to the poll Compass (October 16, 2011), thecommunity is still fond of local fruit, from the 446 respondents, 74.9% of respondents preferconsuming local fruit to the fruit imports. Fruits shipped from farmers to retailers, estimatedreach 30% damaged before it reaches to the consumer. This is in contrast to the fruits importedby traveling are still in a good condition. This study aims to make local fruits distributionstrategy at Semarang. The population in this study are farmers, retailers, wholesalers,middlemen. The research methods use quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis.The pattern of fruits local distribution at Semarang is most farmers sell to middlemen, proceedto wholesalers, retail traders, and then forwarded to the consumer. Model local fruitsdistribution strategy in this study is the farmers forwarded to farmers'coordinator, continuedto the outlets, then forwarded to consumer, or from the farmers'coordinator, continuedto outlets, then forwarded to the consumers.

Abstract

This research aims to see the impact of variable customer delight that consists ofjustice, esteem, and finishing touch on active and passive loyalty of Co-worker of UPT-PK atSingosari. Based on the organization structure of UPT-PK Singosari, the population of thisresearch is all the third period Students of UPT-PK Singosari in 2013. Based on this population,the sampling technique uses random sampling methods, by involving the students asrespondent. Data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by using AMOS software.The results show several findings, that justice has positive influence on active andpassive loyalty, esteem has positive influence on active and passive loyalty, finishing touchalso has positive influence on active and passive loyalty to the Co-workers of UPT-PKSingosari.

Abstract

Teachers'professional development programs have been considered not be able toovercome the issues of lack teachers'qualities and students'learning outcome (Evans et al.,2009). This article aims to explain how the application of 3E (Experience, Expectation andEvidence) management model contributes to enhance teachers'professionalism. 168 teachersin Lampung province were involved in this study in order to investigate the extent ofExperience, Expectation and Evidence have contribution to their professionalism. Based onthe results of the regression analysis, these three factors gave significant contribution totheir professionalism 20.2% (p <0.05). 3E's management model provides an alternativeroad map on how teachers'professional development program should be implemented. Furtherexperimental researches on the implementation 3E management have an impact on theeffectiveness of teachers'learning in the classroom in which leading to the improvement ofstudents'learning outcomes become open.

Abstract

This research aims to learn, analyze and prove the influence of 1) hospital reputationto patients’satisfaction at private hospital at Banjarmasin, 2) hospital reputation topatients’trust at private hospital at Banjarmasin, 3) reliability of doctors to patients’satisfactionat private hospital at Banjarmasin, 4) reliability of doctors to patients’trust atprivate hospital in Banjarmasin city, 5) reliability of nurses to patients’satisfaction at privatehospital at Banjarmasin, 6) ) reliability of nurses to patients’trust at private hospital atBanjarmasin city, 7) operational benevolence to patients’satisfaction at private hospital atBanjarmasin, 8) operational benevolence to patients’trust at private hospital in Banjarmasincity, 9) patients’satisfaction to patients’trust at private hospital at Banjarmasin, 10) satisfactionto patients’loyalty at private hospital at Banjarmasin, 11) trust to patients’loyalty atprivate hospital at Banjarmasin. Populations of this research are patients from three privatehospitals at Banjarmasin. There are 250 respondents by using structural equation modelling(SEM). The research reveals that; 1) hospital’s reputation influences significantly positiveto patients’satisfaction at private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 2) hospital’s reputationinfluences significantly positive to patients’trust at private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 3)doctors’reliability influences significantly positive to patients’satisfaction at private hospitalsat Banjarmasin, 4) doctors’reliability influences significantly positive to patients’trustat private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 5) nurses’reliability influences significantly positive topatients’satisfaction at private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 6) nurses’reliability influencessignificantly positive to patients’trust at private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 7) operationalbenevolence influences significantly positive to patients’satisfaction at private hospitals atBanjarmasin, 8) operational benevolence influences significantly positive to patients’trustat private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 10) patients’satisfaction influences significantly positiveto patients’loyalty to be hospitalized at private hospitals at Banjarmasin, 11) patients’trust influences significantly positive to patients’loyalty to be hospitalized at private hospitalsat Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Coal mining industries currently are in unfavorable condition, therefore the Companyshall reduce the cost and/or increase efficiency in order to equalize the decrease of coalprice. Reducing the cost can be done by 2 methods either reducing the usage i.e. quantity byefficiency or reducing price which is usually done by negotiation as the main strategy of thecompany. Beside negotiation, appropriate contract management will deliver a good contributioneither directly or indirectly towards cost reduction. Symptom indicates a requirement ofimprovement to contract management. The solutions are efficient management, increasingstaffs'ability, increasing staffs'motivation, improvement of policy and procedure, developmentof simple spreadsheet, implementation of optimum cost strategy, owner estimation review,and holding regular socialization. Value added delivered by these solutions includesstaffs productivity, higher saving, better contract quality, higher bargaining position, minimizingloss of production day, and avoidance of additional cost.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of variable current ratio, Debt toEquity Ratio, Return on Equity and Earning per Share to the Stock Return, using a quantitativeapproach with the Analysis Regression method. The population of this study is manufacturingcompanies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange that pay dividend continuously forthe period 2009-2012. The population numbers are 28 companies that are observed withina period of 3 years, in order to obtain a total of 84 observations. The results showed that thevariable current ratio is a significant negative effect on stock returns. While the variableDebt to Equity Ratio is not significant negative effect on stock returns, and variable positiveReturn on Equity no significant effect on stock returns and variables Earning Per Share isnot significant negative effect on stock returns.
