<![CDATA[Dental caries is limited to tissue damage teeth. Maintaining oral health is essential, some oral and dental problems occur because of our lack of knowledge and maintain oral health and therefore very necessary awareness to preserve and maintain healthy teeth to prevent dental caries. This study aimed to determine the relationship of knowledge how to maintain healthy teeth and mouth with dental caries in the first grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Pone Limboto Western District of Gorontalo district. This study uses an analytical survey method with cross sectional study, conducted in April 2014, located in SMP Muhammadiyah Pone Limboto Western District of Gorontalo district. The sampling method is the total population of 56 students. Data were tabulated and analyzed using Chi-square test. The results of this study showed respondents have knowledge and good dental caries category consists of 24 students, knowledge is not good either category kariesnya of 20 students while the knowledge category is not good, not good caries total of 11 students and has a good knowledge of the category of no good caries 1 students. Chi-square statistical test showed no relationship between pengetahuaan way to maintain healthy teeth and mouth with dental caries in which the p-value 0.004 <α 0.05. The conclusion that the knowledge is very important because the better pengetehuan someone then would be good dental health status]]>

<![CDATA[The increasing of juvenile aggressive behavior in Malendeng penitentiary house of Manado city is cause by their incapable to solve their problems. Juvenile inmates are mostly easy get irritated when being humiliate by bad words or mocking done by fellow inmate and burst into anger when being provoked and also no remorse is shown when doing a mistake. The inmate will very much angry when their will is being against, they felt worthless and stubborn, and there’s grudge and urge to take revenge for bad things happen to other around them. Type of this research is experimental research with vague treatment design (Quasi Experimental), by pre-test and post-test group design. Number of sample is 50 respondents which being choose with a simple random sampling. Measurement of aggressive behavior alteration is using Agitated Behavior Scale (ABS) questioner from Ohio State University in Colombus. This analysis is using T test assessment. The result of analysis on aggressive behavior in pre-test shows that 36 respondents (72%) experiencing mid aggression while within penitentiary house and 6 respondents (12%) experiencing heavy aggression. After giving a mental guidance to those juvenile inmates, a significant change occurs. This being found in post-test result which shows 46 respondents (92%) not experiencing aggression and only small part of them which is 4 respondents (8%) still experiencing mild aggression while mid and heavy aggression is being solved. Conclusion of statistic assessment result of T test then point out a hypothetical result P= 0, 00 < 0, 05 which means Ha is accepted. This result then reveals the effect giving a mental guidance to juvenile inmates toward to declining aggressive behavior. Suggestion that hopefully the juvenile inmates in Malendeng penitentiary house of Manado city, can apply the mental guidance given to them]]>

<![CDATA[Women entering menopause usually occurs around the age of 50 years will happen biological changes in the body, particularly the hormone produced by the ovaries. The loss of estrogen and progesterone progressively during menopause increases the risk of women's health and will affect the quality of a woman when his life is supposed to achievesuccess. The purpose of this study is known relationship with anxiety physical changes women aged 40-50 years in the face of menopause in the Village Papusungan Southern District of Lembeh. This study uses the research methods research design is descriptive analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were premenopausal mothers, whereas sampled in this study of premenopausal women who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria as many as 30 respondents, using a sample taking technique is simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used are univariate and bivariate analysis in which statistical test used is the Spearman rank, using SPSS 16.0. The results are consistent test results obtained statistically significant level of p = 0.966 and r = 0.008 or < r = 0.05 means there is a very strong relationship between the physical changes to the anxiety of women aged 40-50 years in the face of menopause in the Village Papusungan District of South Lembeh]]>

<![CDATA[Patients treated at room Irina A Down BLU Dr Prof. Dr.R. D. Kandou Manado in July amounted to 26 people on average monthly incidence of fractures is feeling the impact of pain experienced by the patient. Distraction is one alternative to reduce pain. Based on the initial survey 3 of 5 nurses interviewed have not implemented such measures. The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the implementation of the method of distraction on pain management of patients with fractures were performed by Irina A nurse in the department of Prof. BLU Down Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. This type of research is descriptive observasif on 23 Irina A nurse in the department of Prof. BLU Down Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Variables observed that the implementation of the distraction of pain in patients with fractures were performed by nurses. Data processed by tabulating the frequency and presented in tabular form. The results showed that nurses who perform the method of distraction pain in patients with fractures performed by nurses that as many as 18 respondents (78.3%). The conclusion that the majority of nurses are already doing the method of distraction in the treatment of pain in patients with fractures. Suggestions implementation continues and distraction techniques can be combined with other nonpharmacological techniques and supported by the provision of media for implementation of distraction methods such as books, pictures, etc]]>

<![CDATA[Performance of nursing or nursing practice is an activity that is given to clients through the implementation of nursing care to achieve the goal of health services in accordance with the duties and responsibilities of nurses to meet the provisions of the code of ethics, professional standards, the right use of health, service standards, and standard operating procedures. The research objective is to get an overview of the performance of nurses in carrying out the treatment in cardiovascular patients in the room CVBC Cardiac Center Dr Prof. Dr R.D Kandou Manado. This research type is descriptive. Population is the patient in the room CVBC. Samples were taken 30% of the total population that is 15 respondents. This study uses monovariabel.The results showed that the image of the nurse's performance in carrying out the treatment in cardiovascular patients there were 8 respondents (53.33%) are performing well, by education level and length of 5 respondents worked 3 respondents. While performing less sebyak 7 respondents (46.67%), based on respondents' education level 4 and 3 respondents working length.Conclusions from the study is the performance of nurses in treating patients in the room CVBC Cardiovascular Hospital. <![CDATA[Depression is a very deepened sorrow feeling seriously that happened on prisoner as a result from convicted criminal. This sorrow feeling caused prisoner experienced it life means, hopelessness feel and have not motivation and avoided by families or the other. Convicted prisons action in the Country House Detention II A class Malendeng of Manado on 2012 year as amount as 3390 prisoner. By the mounth January until to February 2013 year as much as 529 prisoner and 50 persons (9,5%), Consisted to robbing case. Aims this research is to identification of relationship between depression with long terms periode of prisoner detention. Research design is analytic description with cross sectional study approach to describe and identification of there is relationship between depression with long term periode prisoner detention. Population is all of prisoner with robbing case. Sample obtained technic is total sampling that meet a demand inclusive criteria and exclusive criteria as a mount 50 persons. Data taking using with questioner by The Burns Depression. Data analysis result founded that the prisoner ages as muchly between 15-30 years amount 44% with men sexual amount 84% and education level SMP as much 50%. Detention long terms periode between 1-2 years as amount 44%. Most of prisoner experienced moderate depression as much 56%, severe depression 16%, and most of a bit mild depression as much 14 persons (28%). Statistic test result using chi-square, founded that pValue= 0,000<α 0,05, that means there was significantly relationship between depression with prisoner detention long term periode in Country House Detention Malendeng II A Class of Manado]]>

<![CDATA[Nursing clinical practice is part of the curriculum that can not be separated from the theory, in which a nursing student to apply the concept of professional nursing. The success of the student in the clinical practice experience is influenced by several factors such as clinical instructor, the method used in the guidance clinic, completeness of facilities, as well as the cooperation of clients and families. This study aims to analyze the correlation between students' perceptions about clinical instructor with the achievement of medical-surgical nursing clinical practice in the Public Service Board Dr Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. This type of research is cross-sectional. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis using Chi-square test found that the value of p = 0.101. The value of p> 0.05 indicates that there is no significant relationship between students' perceptions about the mastery of clinical instructor with the achievement of medical-surgical nursing clinical practice. P =0.046, p value <0.05 indicates that there is no significant relationship between students' perceptions of facilitators clinical instructor with the achievement of medical-surgical nursing clinical practice, the value of p = 0.109. The value of p> 0.05 indicates that there is no significant relationship between students' perceptions about the motivation clinical instructor with the achievement of medical-surgical nursing clinical practice, the value of p = 0.000. P value <0.05 indicates that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions about clinical instructor communication with the achievement of medical-surgical nursing clinical practice, the value of p = 0.000. P value <0.05 indicates that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions about clinical instructor supervision by the achievement of medical nursing clinical practice]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetes Mellitus is a state of chronic hyperglycemia accompanied by metabolic disorders due to various hormonal disorders that cause a variety of chronic complications in the eyes, kidneys, nerves and blood vessels that can affect a person's quality of life. This study aims to describe the general quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus in BLU Endocrine Polyclinic Hospital, Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado.This type of research is descriptive, taken by accidental sampling technique, the number of 30 respondents. The research was conducted in July 2015. The instrument used is the World Health Organization Quality of Life Instrument (WHOQOL-BREF). Results of this research is processed manually by using the formula P = (f / n) x100.The survey results revealed, the quality of life of patients with Diabetes Mellitus is in good category were 19 respondents (63.3%) and unfavorable 11 respondents (36.7%). In conclusion, the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus in Endocrine Polyclinic Hospital, Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Good. Saran, is expected to be input for a nurse to be able to maintain and improve the quality of services that support interventions to maintain and improve the quality of life of patients with Diabetes Mellitus.]]>

<![CDATA[Immunization as a preventive way to prevent the disease, through the provision of immunity to be given continuously, comprehensively and implemented according to standard so as to provide protection of the health and breaking the chain of transmission. In general, the provision of basic immunization injections action on the infant will cause pain effect. This study aimed to get an overview of infant pain response on providing basic immunization at PHC of Bahu Manado. The benefits of research to the health center is expected to provide information and input for the clinic to improve immunization coverage in their work areas. The population in this study, all mothers carrying infant for immunization by 65 respondents. This type of research is descriptive observational survey. How to accidental sampling sampling 30 respondents who met the included criterion. The data obtained were tabulated then processed and presented in frequency distribution of table. The variables in this study using a single variable that infants pain response on providing basic immunization injections. The research carried out in August 2014. In this study, response to pain highest respondents who received BCG immunization with a score MBPS of 7.08 number of 12 respondents (40%). And the pain response by age, the data obtained by respondents who had a mean score MBPS of 7.5 in infants aged 0-3 month. For a nurses is expected to provide information and input for the clinic to improve atramautic care method in infant during immunization.]]>

<![CDATA[Prevalance of population chronic renal failurein the North Celebes be in the second position of national that is 0,4%. Obedience of the chronic renal failure patient based on the survey on the February 2014 on going haemodialysis treatmen as much as 167 patients, as amount 38,9% don’t followed haemodilysis treatment.Purpose of the research is to knowing relationship between obedience of patient chronic renal failure with haemodialysis treatment as regularly in BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Manado. Type of this research is analytic descriptive with cross sectional approach designs. Population and sample as amount as 64 respondens in Dahlia rooms. Result of the research as following, as much as (98%) respondens obey and regularly, (2%) respondens obey and not regularly, (50%) respondens not obey and obey, and (50%) respondens not obey and not regularly. Result of the Chi Square test showed that there were signidicantly relationship between obedience chronic renal failure patient with haemodialysis treatment as regularly pvalue=0,000<p0,05.Conclusion that obedience chronic renal failure patient significantly relationship with haemodialysis treatment as regularly. Suggestion, hoping to continuously research, so that can be development this research with searching for the other factors had be done, so can met describing as overall about obedience of the ongoing haemodialysis treatment patient]]>
