Background: Knowledge of reproductive health for adolescents is very important. Based on the nursing problems at the Cokroaminoto Manado Vocational School found in interviews with 5 female students, it shows that female students do not yet know about problems that often occur in reproductive health such as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and how to maintain healthy hygiene reproduction. Objective: This study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with adolescent attitudes about reproductive health at SMK Cokroaminoto Manado. Method: This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional approach using a total sample technique to obtain 30 female teenage respondents at the time of the study. The statistical technique used is the Chi-square test with significance value ≤0.05. Measuring instruments used are knowledge and attitude questionnaires. Results: The test results obtained by the Pearson Chi-square test obtained value x ² = 15,200 with p (asmp.sig) = 0.001 <0.05 means significant, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and adolescent attitudes about reproductive health at SMK Cokroaminoto Manado. Suggestions for young women to seek more information about reproductive health so that the knowledge of adolescent girls increases.

Background: patient satisfaction is one indicator of the success of health services and an important aspect that must be achieved by all health services institutions. Quality services are a form of patient acknowledgment of services received. Some studies employ satisfaction levels to determine a patient’s satisfaction. Aim: This study aims to examine the relationship between the quality of service and the level of patient satisfaction of health care participants in outpatients at the Bailang Public Health Center. Method: This study uses a cross-sectional design. Using a purposive sampling technique, as many as 37 respondents agreed to use. Service quality data is collected using a questionnaire sheet. Data were analyzed using the Fisher Exact Test statistical test, with a significance level of 95% (p <0.005). Results: the analysis showed a significant relationship (p = 0.014) between service quality and patient satisfaction. This research shows that service quality greatly increases patient satisfaction. Improvement of the quality of services provided will increase patient satisfaction. The findings in this study are expected to be a reference to improve the quality of BPJS services in the general public and specifically at the Bailang Puskesmas.

Background: Untreated pain can cause death in both mother and baby because pain can cause breathing and the mother's heart rate to increase which causes blood flow and oxygen to the placenta to be disrupted. Counterpressure massage which is a strong pressure massage by putting the heel of the hand or a flat part of the hand, or also using a tennis ball. Aims: of this study was to determine the differences in the effectiveness of counterpressure massage with massage effleurage against first stage labor pain in the Special Hospital of the Mother and Child Pertiwi Makassar area. Method: This study uses a Quasi Experiment research method with a pre-test post-test control design approach. The sample selection is done by consecutive sampling technique, the number of samples is 20 respondents (10 respondents for counterpressure massage and 10 respondents for massage effleurage). Data were processed using the Mann-Whitney test. Results: From the data analysis, the results obtained p-value = 0.009. Discussion: This shows that the value of p <α, then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Conclusion: counterpressure massage is more effective than massage effleurage to reduce labor pain in the first stage.

Background: Symptoms of cervical cancer are often not realized by women so that 70% of cases that occur are found in an advanced stage. This illustrates the still low active participation of women in screening or early detection of cervical cancer (Riksani, 2016). Aims: This study aims to determine the effect of health education on maternal knowledge about VIA examination (Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid) as early detection of cervical cancer in the working area of Tuminting Health Center. Methods: This research method uses a One-Group pre-post test Design to 36 respondents were included in the inclusion criteria by accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level (α) 0.05. Result: The results of this study were obtained from a statistical test of p = 0,000, meaning that the p-value ≤0.05. Conclusion: It was concluded that Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an influence of health education on maternal knowledge about the importance of VIA examination (Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid) as an effort to detect early cervical cancer in the working area of Tuminting Puskesmas. Suggestions for further researchers to conduct a similar study with different research methods such as quasi-experiments with group control.

One of the tasks of the nursing manager is to coordinate through supervision/supervision. Aims: This study aims to analyze, explore the effect of training and implementation of clinical supervision on nurse-patient therapeutic communication. Methods: This study used quasi-experimental design research before and after post control group. The number of samples in this study was 100 respondent nurses and patients who were divided into 75 intervention groups who were given training and implementation of supervision and control groups of 25 respondents. Results: The study showed that the improvement in the supervision capability of the headroom clinics increased significantly (p = 0,000) after training and implementation of clinical supervision. Patient satisfaction with therapeutic communication has increased with a value (p = 0,000). Conclusion: Implementation of clinical supervision contributed to patient satisfaction and therapeutic communication of patient nurses by 17.6%, while 82.4% was influenced by other variables (quality of service, hospital products). This study further recommends the implementation of clinical supervision to be one of the models in developing the quality of nursing services.

Background: Chronic kidney failure (chronic renal failure) is a chronic disease that causes disruption of kidney function, so it requires kidney replacement therapy with long-term hemodialysis that must comply with fluid diets and can cause anxiety. Aims: Research to assess the effect of nursing psychoeducation on reducing anxiety levels and adherence to fluid diets in chronic renal failure patients with hemodialysis. Methods: The study was conducted in April-July 2018 in three private hospitals in Tomohon and Manado. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental pre-post test design with a control group of 112 respondents (82 in the intervention group and 30 in the control). Psychoeducation interventions are given according to the education module for 4 weeks, 2 times a week for a total of 8 meetings. Anxiety was assessed using the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) questionnaire and adherence was assessed by the End Stage Renal Disease-Adherence Questionnaire (ESRD-AQ) before and after the study and weight observations at each visit. Results: Wilcoxon test results showed significant differences in anxiety levels (p <0.005) and fluid diet compliance (p <0.005) before and after the intervention. Mann Whitney test results showed no significant difference in decreasing anxiety level (p = 0.456) and increasing levels of fluid diet compliance (p = 0.495) between the intervention and control groups. The results of the ordinal logistic regression test, psychoeducation reduced anxiety levels by an OR of 6.5 times compared to the control group. The results of the binary logistic regression test, psychoeducation increased the level of adherence to the liquid diet with an OR value of 2.4 times compared to the control group. Conclusion: Psychoeducation can help reduce the level of anxiety and adherence to the fluid diet of patients with chronic renal failure with hemodialysis.
