Abstract

Consider M as a 3-homogeneous manifold. In this paper, we are going to study the behavior of the first eigenvalue of p-Laplace operator in a case of Bianchi classes along the normalized Ricci flow also we will give some upper and lower bounds for a such eigenvalue.

Abstract

Associated to Birkhoff orthogonality, we study Birkhoff angles in a normed space and present some of their basic properties. We also discuss how to decide whether an angle is more acute or more obtuse than another. In addition, given two vectors $x$ and $y$ in a normed space, we study the formula for Birkhoff `cosine' of the angle from $x$ to $y$ from which we can, in principal, compute the angle. Some examples will be presented.
Total Induced Vertex Stress in Barbell-Like Graphs Shiny, Joseph; Kok, Johan; Ajitha, V.

Abstract

This paper introduces new parameters called induced vertex stress and total induced vertex stress in G, respectively. For graphs G and H, aspects of the maximum and minimum total induced vertex stress that can be obtained by 1-edge addition and 2-vertex merging are discussed.

Abstract

A characterization of cubic subalgebra is established. The notion of internal and external cubic subalgebra in BCK/BCI-algebra and several properties are investigated. The R-union, R-intersection, P-union, and P-intersection of internal and external cubic subalgebras in BCK/BCI-algebra are discussed.

Abstract

We establish some Ostrowski type inequalities involving higher-order partial derivatives for two-dimensional integrals on Lebesgue spaces (L_{∞}, L_{p} and L₁). Some applications in Numerical Analysis in connection with cubature formula are given. Finally,  with the help of obtained inequality, we establish applications for the kth moment of random variables.

Abstract

A non-empty subset S together with an associative function f from S × S×S into the family of all non-empty subsets of S is called a ternary semihypergroup. In this paper, we consider a semihypergroup (S, f) besides a binary relation ≤, where ≤ is a partial order relation on S such that satisfies the monotone condition. This structure is called an ordered ternary semihypergroup. We introduce and investigate the notions of bi-hyperideal and quasi-hyperideal in ordered ternary semihyperroups. In particular, we prove that an ordered ternary semihypergroup is left and right simple if and only if it does not contain proper bi-hyperideals

Abstract

Let Fq be a finite field and Fq((X−1 )) the field of formal power series with coefficients in Fq. The purpose of this paper is to exhibit a family of transcendental continued fractions of formal power series over a finite field through some specific irregularities of its partial quotients

Abstract

We construct a developable surface normal to a surface along a curve on the surface. As differs from the work Hananoi, we choose the curve as the normal direction curve on which the new surface is formed in Euclidean space. We obtain some results about the uniqueness and the singularities of such developable surfaces. We also give two invariants of curves on a surface which characterize singularities.

Abstract

This paper aims to develop a dynamic pricing policy for deteriorating items with price and stock dependent demand. In declining market demand of items decreases with respect to time and also after a duration items get outdated. In this situation it needs a pricing policy to sale the items before end season. The proposed dynamic pricing policy is applicable for a limited period to clease the stock. Policy decision regarding the selling price could aggressively attracts the costumers. Objectives are to maximize the prot/revenue, pricing strategy and economic order level for such a stock dependent and price sensitive items. We are giving numerical example and simulation to illustrate the proposed model.

Abstract

Generalized quarternion group (Q_(4n)) is a group of order $4n$ that is generated by two elements x and y with the properties x^{2n}=y^4=e and xy=yx^{-1}. The coprime graph of Q_{4n}, denoted by Omega_{Q_{4n}}, is a graph with the vertices are elements of Q_{4n} and the edges are generated by two elements that have coprime order. The first result of this paper presented that Omega_{Q_{4n}} is a tripartite graph for n is odd and Omega_{Q_{4n}} is a star graph for n is even. The second one presented the connectivity indices of Omega_{Q_{4n}}. Connectivity indices of a graph is a research area in mathematics that popularly applied in chemistry. There are six indices that are presented in this paper, those are first Zagreb index, second Zagreb index, Wiener index, hyper-Wiener index, Harary index, and Szeged index.Generalized quaternion group (Q4n) is a group of order 4n that is generated by two elements x and y with the properties x 2n = y 4 = e and xy = yx−1 .
