Abstract

Salah satu alternatif bahan tambah yang digunakan untuk stabilisasi adalah menggunakan sistemsoil cement, dimana yang digunakan untuk bahan stabilisasi adalah clean set cement. Stabilisasitanah dengan menggunakan sampel tanah gambut (peat) di Propinsi Lampung dengan bahanclean set cement dilakukan dengan studi penyelidikan di laboratorium dengan pengujian beratjenis, pengujian batas atterberg, pengujian kepadatan, pengujian permeabilitas untuk mengetahuinaiknya kekuatan tanah gambut sebagai lapisan tanah dasar. Penelitian yang dilakukan denganmenggunakan 3 macam campuran: (a) Tanah gambut + 4% clean set cement, (b) Tanah gambut +8% clean set cement dan (c) Tanah gambut + 12% clean set cement. Hasil penelitianlaboratorium mekanika tanah menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan maksimum daya dukung tanahterdapat pada campuran tanah gambut ditambah 12% clean set cement dengan 14 hari waktupemeraman (delay time). Peningkatan kekuatan tanah dapat dilihat dari hasil pemadatan tanahyang semula memiliki kadar air optimum sebesar 62% turun menjadi 55,8%, berat isi keringtanah meningkat dari semula sebesar 0,676 gr/cm3 naik menjadi 0,770 gr/cm3, dan koefisienpermeabilitas yang semula 6,031 x 10-5 cm/detik turun menjadi 0,883x10-5 cm/detik. Peningkatankekuatan tanah tersebut disebabkan terjadinya pengikatan antara butiran-butiran tanah olehcampuran clean set cement dan lamanya waktu pengikatan dengan pemeraman. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa tanah akan terus meningkat kestabilannya sampai pada batas optimumapabila kadar clean set cement ditambah atau dipakai clean set cement seri CS 20 (untuk tanahorganik tinggi dan gambut) dan waktu pemeramannya lebih lama.

Abstract

In the development of transportation, government had role as guidance, so they have obligated toprepare and formulated transportation policy, control and monitor implementation of transporta-tion. One obligation referred to is setting transportation infrastructure network and level of ser-vice. Other important thing is performing prediction the movement of passengers and goods espe-cially on each point of transportation movement, related to road network master plan.The main objective of this research is the application of modeling transport in road network plan-ning. Other policies that will follow are the settings and policies regarding to freight circulation interminal, the recommendation of public transport and road network system. Four stages of trans-portation planning is used as a research method.The result of this study is recommendation that necessary to preserve transportation service in ru-ral areas to develop primary transportation based on community and land use development. Rec-ommendation of road network master plan is resettle of road level and function based on activity,new corridor development connecting under development area and nationality conection.

Abstract

In accordance the standard bridges, seismic loads must be taken into account in the combinationof loading conditions. Often the continous bridge model is a choise, especially on the model ofbridges with spans of more than 1 (one). This analysis focused on the piers of a bridge that consitsof 5 (five) spans. The variable in this model is layout of continous or simple beam. In this analysismade 5 (five) types of the bridge. To obtain the optimal and accurate design, use a dynamicanalysis by response spectrum based on the PGA value in SNI 03-1726-2002. With the pushovermethod using SAP 2000 software will be acquired and the value of Demand and CapacityDisplacement, so can to know the feasibility on the piers of a bridge modeled. Results of analysisthat only model IV incapable supporting the magnitude of longitudinal displacement. As for thetransverse direction of all the models capable to hold the magnitude of transverse displacement.Ductility of pier P1 and P2 for all models meet the requirements of the maximum ductility μD ≤ 5for multiple piers. Overall, the optmum behavior performance to resist earthquake loads is themodel II.

Abstract

The road is expected to meet the criteria of "Fast, Nyama, Safe, Beautiful and Sustainable" ascriteria for reviewing the performance of roads. Evaluation or study was conducted to review oneaspect of road based on speed or travel time required by the traffic on the roads, and theevaluation is done by correlating the data IRMS (Integrated Roads Management System) and BMS(Bridges Management System) to services section one way to road performance component of"travel time" traffic required for condition of roads and bridges on the road conditions, theprimary and secondary data conducted in 2010 on the national road network in the province ofJambi using data IRMS in 2010 and BMS in 2009. This study aims to review the performance ofthe street on the national road network in the province of Jambi. Thus it can be taken a linkagethat the travel time required by the traffic to move from one place to another are affected by thecondition of roads and bridges on the road, up to now the results of the IRMS and BMS as aninstrument (Benchmark / Standard) used by policy makers as a basis for determining future goodprogram planning, maintenance, and development. While the actual conditions on the ground arenot in accordance with the results of the IRMS and BMS were taken by decision of the currentconditions specified policy.

Abstract

Inter Urban Road Management (IRMS) is an integrated software system used to help roadplanners to take data and to plan national and province road maintenance programs. The exampleof IRMS output producing strategies in maintenace handling was in the East Cross of Lampungprovince in Pematang Panggang segment – Sp. Pematang had AADT value of 7,601, AC-WCsurface type, Link Program 2008 of BW(betterment widening), Link Program 2009 of R (routinemaintenance), Link Program 2012 of R (routine maintenance). Handling in 2008 was bettermentwidening from International Roughness Index (IRI) 8.6 into 3.4 (improved road condition) andeconomically the produced investment calculation was NPV/C 154,060,000 (positive). Thecorellation of budget allocation, AADT and road condition was by giving priorities of budgetprograms according to necessity so that the road condition, in this case IRI, would improve andthe AADT value would increase or vice versa. Less budget allocation for road handling causedless proper road conditions. AADT decreased with an assumption that traffic movement wouldchoose better alternative roads.

Abstract

Based on Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 17 Tahun 2008 of Navigation, waterwaytransportation consists of: (a) sea-based transportation; (b) River and lake transportation; (c)ferry. Meanwhile, sea-based transportation consist of: (a) domestic; (b) abroad; (c) special; and(d) traditional. Development of traditional sea-based transportation is aimed to keep the importantrole of traditional sea-based transportation as part of national sea-based transportation. Theimportance are: (1) to improve servicing to remote area; (2) impact on national economy; and (3)to improve competency and entrepreneurship. Development of Sebalang Traditional Sea-BasedPort is technicaly feasibel. Special issues that may occur are social, economic, and financing.

Abstract

The use of plywood as a construction material to hold the load as the beam has not been widelyused. It is due to little data and information in a plywood timber strength especially against theshear bearing. The research was conducted to determine the strength of the beam composed ofplywood (meranti wood origin) using adhesives Urea Formaldehyde (UF) for shear strength.From the test results show the use of the number of layers of plywood on the beam web's influenceon forces arrayed logs. Average strength achieved in block structured web thickness of 5 cm at2498 kg, 10 cm thick web of 4649 kg and a 15 cm thick web of 4443 Kg.

Abstract

The semi flexible pavement is a type of pavement with opened gradation based on porous asphalt,where the continuous pore in the mix composition is filled by mortar cement. The use of mortarcement can help performing a composite pavement which combines the strength of asphalt andcement as a bond material. The objective of using this composition is to increase the strength ofasphalt from permanent deformation, cracks both in the wet condition and the temperatureincrement. In this research, Asbuton modification asphalt (15% & 20%) and Tafpack-Supermodification asphalt (5% & 10%). The evaluation of the pavement performance was conducted bycompression strength test, split tension test and Marshall stability test with temperature variationduring test were 60oC, 70oC and 80oC. Based on the research, the compression strength resultedfrom the compression strength test were fc = 15,80 kg/cm2 for A0; fc = 21,10 kg/cm2 for A15; fc =21,90 kg/cm2 for A20; fc = 16,10 kg/cm2 for T5 and fc = 16,20 kg/cm2 for T10; while results ofsplit tension test were ftr = 1,16 kg/cm2 for A0; ftr = 2,42 kg/cm2 for A15; ftr = 1,83 kg/cm2 forA20; ftr = 1,78 kg/cm2 for T5 and ftr = 1,62 kg/cm2 for T10. From the durability of mixcomposition point of view in Marshall stability test at temperature of 70oC and 80oC, the resultsshowed that the Residual strength Index for Asbuton modification asphalt were more than 80%while for Tafpack-Super modification asphalt is less than 80% with a significant reduction inMarshall stability graph. From the various test results which have been done in this research, itcan be concluded that the Asbuton modification asphalt (15% & 20%) has a better performancecompared to Tafpack-Super modification asphalt (5% & 10%). Generally, the performance ofsemi flexible pavement tested in this research are still unsatisfied and only meet the specificationof Marshall stability for medium traffic load in the range of 550 kg up to 800 kg, while theMarshall stability required for high traffic load are 800 kg to 1.800 kg.
