Abstract

ABSTRACT Rural drinking water management in Buleleng Regency was served by rural drinking water supply (PAM Des) and community-based drinking water supply (Pamsimas). Providing sustainable rural drinking water was the most basic need through the implementation of Tri Hita Karana. Tri Hita Karana (THK) as a sustainability concept greatly determined the success of regional environmental resilience. This research aimed to analyzed strategies for increasing the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in sustainability in the management of PAM Des. Analysis of the sustainability index for PAM Des management used the Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) method. Multi Dimensional Scaling also analyzed lever factors that were sensitive to sustainability. The results of the analysis showed that the sustainability index value for the ecological dimension was 70.11%, the economic dimension was 46.00%, the socio-cultural dimension was 50.65%, the technological dimension was 46.89% and the institutional dimension was 49.74%. The sustainability index value for the ecological and socio-cultural dimensions with a value above 50% was quite sustainable. The sustainability index value of the economic, technological and institutional dimensions of the less sustainable category. The leverage factors obtained from the analysis of 5 (five) dimensions of sustainability were 19 factors. The strategy to increased the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in the ecological and socio-cultural dimensions was the implementation of mutual exchange between PAM Des managers and land owners of springs, implementation of magpag toya upakara, tumpek wariga, community participation in PAM Des, use of water according to needs, adjustment of the level of community water needs and community concern for PAM Des infrastructure. In the economic, technological and institutional dimensions, this must be done by improving, improving the PAM Des infrastructure and also regulations that strengthened the management of PAM Des. The strategy to increased the implementation of Tri Hita Karana had had a positive impact on environmental resilience in the management of rural drinking water supplies in Buleleng Regency, Bali.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Terrorism posed a real threat to regional resilience of the West Java region. One of the challenges in addressing terrorism was that deradicalization efforts often fall short, particularly during the assessment phase. This research aimed to sheded light on the role of intelligence in the assessment of deradicalization programs for convicted and ex-convicted terrorists. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. Researchers classified terrorism convicts and ex-convicts based on their responses to deradicalization programs, to identified priorities for intelligence support in the assessment process. Primary data in the form of notes from observations and interviews with eleven former terrorism convicts in West Java was used, along with secondary data from previous research and online news sources. This was the first study on intelligence assessment in the context of deradicalization efforts and was therefore expected to provided valuable insights in this area. The research findings indicated that the West Java region was particularly vulnerable to terrorism, with a concerning number of recidivism cases. Based on the classification of terrorist convicts and ex-convicts in this study, there were two categories of individuals who required more in-depth assessment, supported by intelligence information. Intelligence could help identified opportunities for deradicalization and carried out thorough assessments that would otherwise be difficult to obtained. Proper assessment was crucial for effective deradicalization and reducing the likelihood of terrorist recidivism. This wouldl ultimately increase regional resilience against the threat of terrorism.

The average age of farmers in the research location was 53 years 10 months, with an average of 13 years of farming experience and an average of 7 goats. The results of calculating the Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C), Payback Period (PP), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) in calculating the financial feasibility of the Bligon goat farming business in coastal areas showed that this business was worthy of development. The development of Bligon goat cultivation could be used in efforts to alleviated poverty in the community and supported sustainable economic growth in the coastal areas of Bantul Regency. The sustainability of this economic dimension was expected to make a positive contribution to food resilience and national resilience by encouraging an increase in the number of farmers and goats.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Demographic Bonus is a golden opportunity for the Indonesian nation. However, the existing social problems due to limited workforce pose a threat to this opportunity. Through the reconstruction of the Four Pillars of the Nation: (Pancasila, UUD 1945, Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika) strengthening of the younger generation is implemented as a preventive measure and societal understanding. The research aims to determine how the Four Pillars of the Nation strategy is implemented for the development of the younger generation in facing the Demographic Bonus and its implications for the social resilience of the Riau Islands. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research informants involve academics, community leaders, youth figures, government, and private employees, as well as students. The results show that the Riau Islands Government strives through the Demographic Bonus and the strengthening of national values, but the threat of national disintegration arises. The socialization of the Four Pillars of the Nation needs improvement, especially among teachers and community leaders. Protection for communities vulnerable to human trafficking is carried out through the Trauma Center Protection House (RPTC) with the formation of a social network involving the TPPO Task Force and the Provincial Task Force. Challenges related to financial motivation and economic inequality still exist. The Four Pillars of the Nation are implemented as education on national values, and conflict resolution involves communication and sometimes legal approaches. Collaboration between the TPPO Task Force, the community, and community leaders is expected to reduce the risk of human trafficking in this province.
