Abstract

Diwan Tarjuman al-Asywaq is one of the master piece of Ibnu Arabi as known the famous sufic mystic in Islam. A poetry in Diwan Tarjuman al-Asywaq appears controversy in Islam world because this poetry is considered to show the love story of Ibnu Arabi with the girl whom he loves. This study will present meaning of metaphor and symbol in this poetry with hermeneutic analysis of Paul Ricoeur. Hermeneutic Ricoeur will explain objectively meaning in this poetry (sense) and then put this meaning in the real life (reference). The result finds that idea of “little girl” in this poetry is interpretation of “Allah” who has nobleness, purity, beautification, and the high place. “Allah” with his perfection is presented through form of “woman” as formal form in interpretation of “Allah”.

Abstract

This article studies about the meaning of rahmah that was written repeatedly in many chapters. Rahmah is considered as great mission shouldered by the Great prophet Muhammad saw, who become good example for believers to realize the balance, peace and the true love and affection.  Rahmah is a quranic term pointing out the God’s attributes who always keep love and affection and bestows His grace on human being.

Abstract

Religious pluralism is a contemporer discourse in religious community. It is discussed because there is a phenomenon that the religious conflict existing in society due to misunderstanding among the followers of religion. They respectively claimed the truth of their religion and thus have absolute right to enter the paradise, maeanwhile others have no opportunity and chance to teste the convenience of heaven. In this case, religious pluralism must be socialized to establish good harmony among the followers of religion

Abstract

This writing discusses about women semiotics in the stories told in al-Qur’an. The signs of women in al-Qur’an is interisting to study,  using semiotic approach mainly in understanding the real meaning on women empowerment procces and its implementation in gender perspective. In al-Qur’an there are numbers of symbols pointing out the meaning of womens such is zauj, imraah, umm. Within the pramework of women empowerment, it is neccessary to actualize the quranic exegessis through the stories disclosed in al-Quran that women stand equal with man in any ways except in natural aspect. Al-Qur’an has given large space to women to have double function both domestic and formal.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to observe, to describe the implementation of Islamic teaching in the life of Garuntungan Village, District Kindang Bulukumba and to explain the factors that affect the implementation of teaching and practice of Islamic values in the community. The result of the research shows that Islamic teaching is basically practiced by people of Garuntungan village, although this practice is limited to formal religious rituals. Deep and well understanding of Islamic teaching is not implemented well in their private life, family, and society. This condition is supported by several factors such as the shifting behavior of society in the implementing the values of Islamic teachings, environment, community affair, lack of Islamic promulgation (da'wah), lack of parental knowledge of Islam, and community’s less interest in pursuing education but seeking job for earning money.Keywords: Islamic teaching, education, behavior, implementation.  ملخص يغرض هذا البحث إلى ملاحظة تطبيق قيم التعاليم الإسلامية في حي قرية غارانتونغان (Garantungan)، كيندانغ (Kindang) منطقة بولوكومبا  (Bulukumba) وتوصيفه، وشرح العوامل التي تؤثر على تنفيذ التعاليم الإسلامية و تطبيق قيمه عند المجتمع فى حياتهم. ويظهر هذا البحث أن تنفيذ الدين الإسلامي في قرية غارانتونغان يقتصر فى التقاليد الدينية، والعوامل التي تؤثر على تنفيذ قيم التعاليم الإسلامية في تلك المنطقة تشمل التأثيرات البيئية، واشتغال المجتمع فى العمل، ونقصان الدعوة، والافتقار إلى الإشراف الأبوي على أولادهم، وفكرتهم في العمل أفضل من التعليم.الكلمات الدالة: التعاليم الإسلام، تطبيق، تنفيذ،الدين الإسلامي.    Abstrak Penelitian ini mengamati dan mendeskripsikan penerapan niali-nilai ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan Masyarakat Desa Garuntungan Kecamatan Kindang Kabupaten Bulukumba serta menjelaskan faktor yang memengaruhi pelaksanaan ajaran dan pengamalan nilai-nilai Islam dalam masyarakat tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan ajaran agama Islam masyarakat Desa Garuntungan pada dasarnya berjalan, walaupun sebatas pada ritual-ritual atau tradisi keagamaan, sementara nilai-nilai ajaran Islam tidak terimplementasi dengan baik dalam kehidupan pribadi, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Adapun beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi terjadinya pergeseran perilaku masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam di Desa Garuntungan Kecamatan Kindang Kabupaten Bulukumba meliputi pengaruh lingkungan, kesibukan masyarakat, kurangnya siraman rohani (intensitas dakwah), kurangnya pengawasan orang tua terhadap anak, dan pemikiran masyarakat yang lebih mementingkan mencari kerja dibanding menempuh pendidikan.Kata kunci: Nilai, Ajaran Islam, pemahaman agama, ritual keagamaan.

Abstract

Speaking skill is one of four language skills include listening, reading, and writing. Speaking is very important for the existence of socio and culture. Brainstorming method is one method that is used to arrange idea by revealing many ideas from the topic given. It is also used both before speaking or at the time of speaking. Brainstorming method can be done in group or individual. If it is in group, someone has to become a minute notes and has to write down the ideas revealed. On this case, students do not need to worry about the grammar, spelling, and so forth, even about the truth of members’ explanation. The implementation of brainstorming method in improving speaking skill has main advantage through process. The learning process by implementing brainstorming method can support students to think actively, to reveals idea, and stimulate students to express their ideas.

Abstract

Pengajaran bahasa Inggris bukan hanya harus menarik melainkan juga harus menyenangkan, karena dengan begitu, pemahaman pelajar akan materi yang disampaikan pun pasti akan lebih mudah. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, pengajar bahasa Inggris seharusnya lebih kreatif dalam menciptakan atau menemukan berbagai tehnik dalam menyampaikan materinya, agar para pelajar bukan hanya mampu memahaminya, tapi juga mampu menerapkannya. Oleh karena itu, tidak salah jika para pengajar tetap mempertimbangkan tahapan-tahapan awal proses pemerolehan bahasa pertama (first language acquisition) pada anak. Salah satunya adalah bagaimana seorang anak memperoleh kata-kata dan ungkapan-ungkapan baru pada saat mereka sedang bermain di taman bermain (playground) ataupun di rumah. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, akan menjadi sangat bermanfaat dan penting bagi para pengajar bahasa Inggris untuk menggunakan tehnik permainan (games) dalam mendorong  meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan (skill) berbahasa Inggris mereka.

Abstract

Bakusedu is vernacular language literature, such as short story is one of reality construction of Manado’s culture, in the form of oral and writing represented in symbols. For Manado’s people bakusedu is a kind of their societies’ advice which cannot be forgot and separated from their live; it also serves a  means of social communication in order to teach, educate, to draw characters, emotion, and inform values for younger generation. This research’s problem is focused on the study of forms of emotion’s word and meaning in bakusedu which is spoken in Manado language. This research can be classified as a case study using eclectic approach which combines theories of linguistic and sociology of literature. Methodologically, in this research is natural in characteristics because the primary data are observed directly. The form of culture value in this bakusedu identified in writing. The researcher  serves as human instrument. The data emotion words and phrases are gathered from monolog and dialog content of its bakusedu that is spoken by Manado ethnic group in North Sulawesi. The finding of emotion words and it function in the society are found, namely words and phrases which cover human character such as: working as mercy of god, discussion to solve problem, physical character; several kind of emotion words, such as positif, netral and negatif.

Abstract

Mengajar keterampilan berbica melalui Game sangat menyenangkan peserta didik, karena mereka tidak hanya belajar, akan tetapi mereka juga bisa bermain. Game-game yang dipilih dalam tulisan ini adalah game yang mengantar peserta didik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris. Tetapi ini tidak berarti bahwa game ini hanya cocok untuk keterampilan berbicara saja, akan tetapi guru bisa memodifikasi pada ketrapilan lain sperti menulis.
