Abstract

The character development of young people is mandated by law. One of the characteristics that is missing is a responsibility that is now lacking in the current generation of young people. The provision of tasks and learning motivation is one solution. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of assignment and learning motivation on the responsibility of students in the economic education study program. This research is a survey research type with quantitative methods and a correlational design. The subjects of this study were 54 students in the economic education study program who were randomly chosen. The data collection technique is a questionnaire, while the data analysis technique is a partial t test and a simultaneous F test. The results stated that giving partial assignments to students greatly affected their responsibilities in life by 57.9%, but motivating student learning did not affect them partially, only 0.8%. The assignment and motivation of students to study simultaneously still affect their responsibilities by 58.7%.   Keywords:  Assignment, Learning motivation, Responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of buzz marketing, price, and perceived quality on the purchasing decisions of Jolly Tint Pinkroulette Lip Tint products among Surabaya University students. Primary data was obtained through a survey using questionnaires distributed to 400 respondents who are students in Surabaya. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach employing the multiple linear regression method. The research findings indicate that buzz marketing, price, and perceived quality simultaneously have a significant influence on the purchasing decisions of Jolly Tint Pinkroulette Lip Tint products. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance for companies to consider buzz marketing strategies, competitive pricing, and product quality enhancement to influence consumer purchasing decisions. This study is expected to contribute to understanding consumer behavior in the digital era and serve as a reference for companies in designing effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to understand the impact of job training and compensation on work motivation and employee performance. A total of 84 employees from PT. Dongseo Furniture participated as respondents and completed questionnaires for data collection. The data was further analyzed using correlation tests (both partial and simultaneous), determination coefficient tests (partial and simultaneous), and regression tests (simple and multiple). Hypothesis tests (t-test and F-test) were conducted at a 5% significance level (α = 5%). The findings, processed using SPSS version 23, reveal a significant influence of job training and compensation on work motivation and employee performance. Keywords: Compensation, Employee Performance, Job Training, Work Motivation

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Locus of Control, Financial Socialization, and Parental Norms on Financial Management Behavior with Financial Literacy as an Intervening Variable among Economics Education Students at Makassar State University. This research is quantitative, with a total population of 640 students from the Faculty of Economics as recipients of the Bidikmisi Scholarship Program. A sample was then obtained based on the Slovin formula of 246 students. The results of this research are: (1) Locus of control has no effect on financial management behavior; (2) Financial Socialization has an effect on financial Management Behavior, (3) Parental Norms have an effect on financial management behavior; (4) financial literacy has no effect on financial management behavior; (5) Locus of Control has an effect on financial literacy; (6) Financial Socialization has no effect on financial literacy, (7) Parental norms have no effect on financial literacy; (8) Locus of Control has no effect on Financial Management Behavior through financial literacy; (9) Financial Socialization has no effect on financial management behavior through financial literacy; (10) Parental Norms have no effect on financial Management Behavior through Financial Literacy among Makassar State University students in the class of 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the impact of capital, human resources, and technology on the development of the creative economy in the culinary sector on Madura Island. The focus of the research is on creative economy actors in four districts of Madura, namely Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep. The method used is multiple linear regression. Data were collected through a combination of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by directly distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents, with 10 respondents in each district. Sampling was done using the snowball sampling technique. The research results conclude that capital, human resources, and technology have a significant impact on the development of the creative economy in Madura Island. Keywords: local potential, creative economy, culinary

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of dividend per share, profitability, and capital structure on share prices, partially and simultaneously, for automotive companies indexed by the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index. Data processing in this research uses quantitative data analysis and uses Views version 9. The samples in this research are automotive subsector companies indexed by the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI), totaling 10 companies over the 4-year period 2018–2021. The research results found that partial dividends per share had no effect on share prices, profitability, and capital structure had a significant effect on share prices. Simultaneously, dividend per share, profitability, and capital structure have no effect on share prices.

Abstract

Management of Village Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) in Increasing Village Original Income (PADes) in Cogreg Village, Parung District, Bogor Regency. This study explains how the management of village-owned enterprises (BUM Desa) is carried out in Cogreg Village. Collecting data using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data sources used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data, which were strengthened by the results of interviews with informants, including the village-owned enterprise director, village-owned enterprise treasurer, village-owned enterprise supervisor, and village-owned enterprise secretary. The results of the research as a whole, Management of Village Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) in Cogreg Village, are seen by four indicators, namely, planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, which are still not optimal. This can be seen in the organization that has not found competent people, the implementation, which is still constrained due to coordination that has not gone well, and the provision of information that has not been maximized to the public. Keywords: Management, Village Government, Village Owned Enterprises

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of brand trust and habitual behavior on McDonald's Samarinda customer loyalty. This type of research uses descriptive methods with a quantitative approach. The sample used was 100 McDonald's Samarinda customers. The data analysis used is a multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that brand trust and habitual behavior simultaneously have a significant effect on customer loyalty. In the coefficient of determination (R2) test, it is known that the magnitude of the effect of brand trust and habitual behavior is 55.9%, while the remaining 44.1% is influenced by variables outside of brand trust and habitual behavior, such as customer satisfaction. The conclusion of the study is that McDonald's Samarinda customers repurchase products 3–4 times a month and recommend the McDonald's brand to the surrounding environment or other people because they have brand trust and habitual behavior.Keywords: Brand Trust; Customer Loyalty; Habitual Behaviour

Abstract

Mawasangka Market experienced a significant decline in levy revenue in 2021, worsening in 2022, when it ceased to be the market with the highest levy revenue, experiencing a decline of up to 78.77%. This study explores the influence of Levy Regulation, Market Service Facilities, and Levy Rates on the Willingness to Pay Market Levies. The research population consists of all traders in Mawasangka Market, totaling 300, in Buton Tengah Regency. The sample size, determined through simple random sampling techniques, comprises 75 traders. The analysis of variable relationships was conducted through instrument requirement tests, data analysis requirement tests, t-tests, and f-tests using the SPSS software. The research findings indicate that Levy Regulation and Market Service Facilities do not affect traders' willingness to pay Market Levies, while Levy Rates have an influence on this willingness. Simultaneously, these factors collectively impact traders' willingness to pay at the market. Based on the research results, there is a need to review policies related to levy regulation, market facilities, levy rates, and other factors to enhance revenue collection through market levies and improve overall market conditions. Keywords: Market Service Facilities, Willingness to Pay, Levy Regulation, Levy Rate

Abstract

This study aims to understand how the digitization and service quality of the New Bimma application can foster the interest of prospective job seekers. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, direct observation, and literature studies. The data analysis process used includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the New Bimma application provides various employment-related services in Bandung City and provides benefits for its users. Although not fully known by the public, the quality of this application service is considered good based on indicators of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence. The app managed to attract 32,469 active users, thanks to an effective promotion strategy on social media. However, the Bandung Manpower Office is advised to still need to increase the frequency of promotions, develop creative content, collaborate with influencers, and conduct periodic evaluations of application performance, user response, and market trends to increase relevant innovations.
