Abstract

The problem in this research is the poor result of student learning outcomes due to lack of student interest and the methods used by the teacher is  not supporting it. The purpose of this study is determine student learning activity and to  improve the outcomes of class IX-D SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Morawa in the academic year 2015/2016 by using cooperative learning model STAD in solving the problem IPA. This study is a class act consisting of two cycles, each cycle comprises four activities: planning, action, observation and reflection,followed by planning the next cycle to take advantage of the man that is graders.Subject of this research are 36 students, they are 27 females and nine males  all of them are grade IX. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase student activity in Biology lessons. Based on research and data processing, it was found that the use of the Trihybrid Genetic Crosses card (three different traits) as a Biology learning medium, can improve the learning outcomes of class XII students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai in the 2019/2020 school year in Biology lessons on Trihybrid Genetic Crosses (three different traits). ), this can be seen from the calculation of the correlation value in the first cycle between the pre-test to the first daily test of 0.827 with a t-test value of 8.333, and the second cycle between the post-test to the second daily test of 0.943 with a t-test value of 16.075. The use of the Trihybrid Genetic Cross card (three different traits) as a Biology learning medium, can increase the activity of class XII students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai in the 2019/2020 school year in Biology lessons on Trihybrid Genetic Crosses (three different traits), this can be seen from the presence students during classroom action research (CAR), from 90% of the first cycle increased to 95% and 100% of the second cycle. Key words : Trihybrid Genetic Cross Card as Biology Learning Media, Learning Outcomes, Activities

Abstract

Pembelajaran pada awal semester genap tahun 2012/2013 di kelas VII -1 SMPN 8 Tebing Tinggi lebih banyak dilakukan di dalam kelas, kurang bervariasi, dan kurang memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil ulangan harian KD 6.1, mengidentifikasi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup ketuntasan klasikal hanya 68,57%. Hipotesis tindakan penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah hasil belajar siswa dalam materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu, melalui pemberian model Kontekstual akan meningkat. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri atas tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengambilan data, dan refleksi. Keaktifan siswa mengalami kenaikan yaitu pada siklus 1 prosentase siswa aktif sebesar 63,88% sedangkan siklus 2 sebesar 91,66 %. Hasil belajar juga mengalami kenaikan pada ketuntasan klasikal dan rata nilai. Siklus 1 ketuntasan belajar sebesar 69,44 % dengan rata-rata nilai 69,73. Siklus 2 ketuntasan belajar 91,66 % dengan rata-rata nilai 88,92. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, kualitas pembelajaran biologi di kelas VII-1 SMP Negeri 8 Tebing Tinggi mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan pendekatan kontekstual. Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran kedisiplinan siswa kelas VII dalam menaati tata tertib sebelum dan setelah diberi layanan penguasaan konten dengan teknik modelling. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling dan kelas VII PM yang menjadi sampel penelitian dengan jumlah responden 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, tingkat kedisiplinan siswa sebelum mendapatkan layanan penguasaan konten tergolong dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 66,6%. Setelah mendapatkan penguasaan konten persentasenya 77,6% tergolong kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11%. Kata kunci: Layanan Penguasaan Konten, Modelling, Kedisiplinan

Abstract

This purposes of this research is to improve learning result on Indonesian Languange subject  through role playing method. This classroom action researchconducted by 2 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students fromgrade IV, Elementary School State166325 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to 33 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the use of the role playing method of Indonesian Languange subjects can improve student learning result characterized by increased mastery learning students, namely pre-cycle (66,67%), the first cycle (81,81%), cycle II (93,93%)and complete learn the clasical equal to 93,93 %. KeywordS : Role playing, student learning outcomes, Indonesian language

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajara siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigasi. Berdasarkan tes hasil belajar (Pretes) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 60 dan ketuntasan 14,3 %. Kemudian dilanjutkan KBM. Akhir KBM ke II dan KBM ke IV dilakukan tes hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I rata-rata nilai tes 73,1 dengan ketuntasan pembelajaran sebesar 51,3% dan pada Siklus II rata-rata nilai tes 81,7 dengan ketuntasan pembelajaran naik menjadi 85,3%. Perbandingan antara siklus I dan Siklus II dijabarkan, aktivititas Siklus I antara lain  menulis dan membaca (42%), bekerja (27%), bertanya sesama teman 5,3%),   bertanya kepada guru (14,2%), dan yang tidak relevan dengan KBM  (12%).(b) Data aktivitas siswa menurut pengamatan  pada Siklus II antara lain  menulis dan membaca (25,6%), bekerja (52,5%), bertanya sesama teman (14,4%), bertanya kepada guru (3%), dan yang tidak relevan dengan KBM  (4,4%). Abstract

ABSTRAKPembelajaran menulis yang dilakukan belum mendorong terbentuknya kebiasaan menulis pada siswa. Di sisi lain, penilaian pembelajaran menulis yang diterapkan juga belum dapat memberi informasi yang sebenarnya tentang perkembangan keterampilan menulis siswa. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diterapkan kegiatan menulis jurnal pada siswa dan memanfaatkan tulisan dalam jurnal itu untuk bahan penilaian autentik. Dalam penerapannya kegiatan menulis jurnal tersebut dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan. Kegiatan tahapan itu adalah pemahaman konsep dan pemodelan kegiatan menulis jurnal, pelaksanaan dan pembiasaan menulis jurnal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tebing Tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf siswa, baik dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitas paragraf yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan menulis jurnal juga membuat kegiaan menulis menjadi lebih menarik dan bermakna bagi siswa.Kata Kunci : Menulis Jurnal, Hasil, Penilaian Autentik

Abstract

This research is about the error analysis of using punctuation mark by EFL students.  The objectives of this research are to know the most error of using punctuation marks by the EFL students, the error punctuation trend made by the students, and the affecting factors of error in using punctuation mark in writing task. This research will picture the information about the factors affecting the students error in their writing paper and present about the description about the data from the error in students writing paper. The method of this research is qualitative and the data are taken from the students writing task by documentation lecturer and interview at two universities. They are IAIN Metro and Muhammadiyah University of Metro which consist of three participants in each institution. The reseacher concludes that the EFL students hardly understand in using punctuation mark. The reseacher found the error approximately more than 70% in using capitalization. By the interview, the reseacher found some factors such as lack of balance in the curriculum, knowledge, concentration and carelessness, practice.Keywords: Aspect of writing, Error Punctuation, Punctuation.

Abstract

This purposes of this research is to improve learning result on physical education subject  through exercise drill method. This classroom action researchconducted by 2 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students from class VIII-2, Junior High School State 8 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to 40 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the use of the exercise throughdrill method of physical education can improve learning result of under pass which characterized by increased mastery learning students, namely cycle I (77,5%), the cycleII(90%) and complete learn the clasical equal to 90 % in cycle II. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan siswa dalam berbicara pada materi peristiwa faktual. Hal ini disebabkan metode yang digunakan guru masih menggunakan metode konvensional (ceramah). Siswa akan lebih berani berbicara dengan metode yang bervariasi dan diperlukan metode pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara yang inovatif dan kreatif, sehingga proses pembelajaran bisa berlangsung aktif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Siswa tidak hanya diajak untuk belajar tentang bahasa secara rasional dan kognitif, tetapi juga diajak untuk belajar dan berlatih dalam konteks dan situasi tutur yang sesungguhnya dalam suasana yang dialogis, interaktif, menarik, dan menyenangkan. penelitian ini bertujuan “Untuk mengetahui keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan menggunakan metode Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite dan Review (PQ4R) pada mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Masalah Faktual di kelas V SD.Kata Kunci : Metode PQ4R, Keterampilan Berbicara, Bahasa Indonesia
