Abstract

The partners that are targeted by this service program are the Study Center Resource Centers (PSBG) Study Centers and Creative Parks located in Tebing tinggi city of North Sumatra Province. Based on observations and interviews with the PSBG administrators there are 5 problems faced by partners, including: (1) The teacher's ability to make teaching aids and catalogs is very low; (2) The use of IT contained in the CBD is very rare; (3) RPPs made by teachers have not included various learning models; and (4) The teacher has not been able to make a monthly PSBG magazine. Based on these problems, a number of solutions were offered, including: (1) training and mentoring to create learning media and their catalogs; (2) training and mentoring for making IT-based media; (3) training and mentoring to prepare lesson plans with various learning models; and (4) training and mentoring for the creation of the PSBG monthly magazine. Specific targets and outputs that will be produced are: (1) Catalog of learning media; (2) A collection of IT-based learning media; (3) Book collection of assessment rubrics. The method of implementing the service program will be carried out in a gradual, continuous and comprehensive manner carried out through clinical supervision methods in an effort to develop the capabilities and skills of managing and empowering the sustainability of the CBC.Keywords: Revitalization, Cluster Learning Center, Based on IT

Abstract

This study aims to examine the truth of the relationship between the atmosphere of learning and the attitude of refusal to skip student school. This research was conducted at the 15 Medan State Middle School in the academic year 2017/2018. The population in this study were all second grade students of Medan State Middle School totaling 360 people. The sampling technique used in this study is random sampling. The sample of this study is 90 people, namely 25% of the population. From the results of the analysis carried out conclusions the level of tendency of the Learning Atmosphere in SMP Negeri 15 Medan is still lacking and sufficient. The tendency for the attitude of rejecting school absenteeism from second grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Medan is quite high. There is a relationship that is positively and significantly directly proportional between the learning atmosphere and the attitude of refusal to skipping school actions from the second grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Medan.Keywords: Climate, Relationships, Learning, Cakes Attitude

Abstract

This purposes of this research is to improve learning result on PKn subject  through Inquiry method. This classroom action research conducted by 3 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students from class IV, SD N 164525 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to 33 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the use of the inquiry method of PKn subjects can improve student learning result characterized by increased mastery learning students, namely pre-cycle (51,51%), the first cycle (57,57%), cycle II (81,81%), the third cycle (90,90 %) and complete learn the clasical equal to 90,90 %.Keywords : Inquiry, learning result, PKN

Abstract

This aim of this research is to improve learning result on Indonesian langauge subject  through think pair share method. This classroom action researchconducted by 2 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students from class IV, SD N 168060 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to 35 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the use of the think pair share method of Indonesian language subjects can improve student learning result characterized by increased mastery learning students, namely pre-cycle (68,57%), the first cycle (77,14%), cycle II (91,42 %) and complete learn the clasical equal to 91,42 %.Keywords : Think-Pair-Share, Indonesian Language, Learning Result

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning activities, and increase student learning outcomes by applying Cooperative Learning Type Make a Match models to integer operating material and class VII fractions as many as 38 students. This research is a classroom action research. In this study 3 cycles were used, consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Obtained the value of mastery learning the initial test obtained 23.68% (9 students) who completed. After teaching actions with the Cooperative Learning Type Make A match model, the results of observations of students in cycle I were 21% and the student learning outcomes of the first cycle were 42.10% (16 students) were completed. In the second cycle, the results of student observation were 45% and student learning outcomes tests were 55.26% (21 students) were completed. While in the third cycle the results of student observations were 76% and the student learning outcomes test was 86.84,% (33 students) were completed.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Make a Match.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques Indonesian subjects. The research subjects were VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 4, Tebing Tinggi city. With the state of the students in the class totaling 30 students where men numbered 16 people and women numbered 14 people. From the results of research on student learning outcomes with the method of Qualitative Descriptive Analysis Technique in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis the student responses can be concluded that students give a positive response to learning with a Descriptive Analysis Technique approach Qualitative. This is reinforced by interview data which states that students are interested in learning with a Qualitative Descriptive Analysis Technique approach. In addition, it can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students' mastery learning in the pre-cycle (70.17%), the first cycle 80.42%), the second cycle (92.50%).Keywords: Qualitative Descriptive Analysis Techniques, Learning Outcomes, Indonesian Language

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of science process skills and student learning outcomes after the application of a guided curriculum learning model in class XII IPA-2 State Senior High School 1 Bagan Sinembah District. Rokan Hilir. This research was carried out in the classroom including classroom action activities (PTK) in the form of initial reflection activities and conducting observations to identify problems that occur in the classroom, planning learning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The findings of this CAR are: 1) Increased learning outcomes from the complete cycle I as many as 24 people or 72.7% to as many as 29 people who completed or 87.9%; 2) Improving science process skills from cycle I from 5 groups from 4 aspects assessed by 3 aspects, namely observing, collecting data and concluding still in sufficient category while in communicating aspect it is in good category.Keywords: Models, Guided Inquiry, Science Process Skills

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of English teachers in conducting the learning process that uses the concept of contextual learning. This study uses Kemmis M Targart research, consisting of 2 cycles in which each cycle consists of activities of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study are using interviews, observations and questionnaires. This research is said to be successful because of the pre cycle where from the samples taken, from five teachers who were guided by researchers, not one person has ever applied contextual learning in teaching. The success rate of this study is 88.8%. Based on the results of these studies then through clinical supervision activities can increase teacher commitment in implementing learning Contextual teaching and Learning and this research is said to be successful.Keywords: Ability, CTL, Clinical Supervision

Abstract

This study aims to improve the storytelling skills of students of Class IX-5 of SMP Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi using hand puppet media. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi. The research subjects were Class IX-5 students consisting of 36 students. This study consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, carrying out actions, observations, reflections. The research instruments in the form of field notes, observation sheets, questionnaires, and assessment sheets told stories. Product upgrading can be seen from the increase in the score of students' storytelling results in each cycle. The average ability of students to tell stories before the action is categorized as lacking. However, after the implementation of the action for two cycles, the average ability of students in storytelling became a good category. Improved product quality / results can be seen from the comparison of the average score of storytelling students in the pre-action stage until after the Cycle II action. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning motivation in families experiencing divorce (broken home) and to find out the strategies of teachers in (broken home) at the school.From the data and data sources which doing in wonocolo, surabaya city  use subject in primary school children of 4 children.Data collection techniques in this research using observation techniques, interviews, documentation until analysis technique, and in data this research method which using qualitative-descriptions.The results of this study indicate that children who have incomplete families, have broken home families, subjects still lack high motivation to learn. In addition, the strategies carried out at SDN Jemur Wonosari 1 Surabaya show that teachers teach various strategies and learning methods such as lecture methods, discussions, questions and answers, and assignments so that students are motivated to participate in learning and are active and affective so that students are not bored and are bored in learning process takes place.Keywords: Learning, Motivation, Broken Home
