Abstract

The green building criteria of GBCI are an effort to maintain environmental stability. The concept of being environmentally friendly is applied by schools in the form of the PBLHS (Care and Culture for the Environment in Schools) program. The adiwiyata school used as the object of research is SDN Bareng 3. Green building assessment focuses on energy and water conservation, which are relevant for green building and the PBLHS program. This study aims to determine the percentage of energy and water conservation implementation in SDN Bareng 3, and compile recommendations to improve the application of green building according to the study aspect. The research method is descriptive quantitative guided by GREENSHIP Existing Building Version 1.1. The results shows that SDN Bareng 3 obtained a percentage of energy conservation application of 52.78%, and 15% for water conservation. The recommendations are to make energy and water efficient SOPs, make energy displays, use alternative energy, conduct laboratory tests on water quality, have a water recycling system, and use auto stop faucets

Abstract

The existence of public space is an indication of good urban spatial planning. Activities in green open spaces are a simple way to improve mental and physical health. In post-pandemic conditions, people's preference for choosing public spaces, especially green open spaces as places for activities, socializing, or cheap recreation in the city center, has decreased. Therefore, a study was conducted to see the quality and characteristics of green open spaces which are the preferences of the people of Malang City in carrying out activities in these spaces. The research focuses on two types of green open spaces, namely sports recreation parks and children's playgrounds located in Trunojoyo Park, Malang City. This research uses a rationalistic study approach, with primary data from observations and interviews and secondary data through an assessment of 10 success criteria for public spaces according to Carmona (2019), namely evolving, diverse, free, delineated, engaging, meaningful, social, balanced, comfortable, robust. The study result shows that people's preferences in choosing green open spaces are the completeness and condition of the facilities in them

Abstract

Pagar Alam City has one of the old villages that has been included in the most popular indigenous community at the Anugrah Pesona Indonesia (API) award. The village is Pelang Kenidai which still maintains its ancestral values and traditions with the existence of its traditional house known as Ghumah Baghi (Rumah Bari) which is estimated to be up to 200 years old. This issue had become a government program in increasing tourism in Pagar Alam. So that it is necessary to develop a special strategy to help bring out the tourism potential of Pelang Kenidai village. This study aims to formulate the development strategy needed to bring out the tourism potential of Pelang Kenidai Village through the 3A concept (Attractions, Amenities and Accessibility).
