Abstract

Kelompok Tani Mawar Maju III adalah salah satu kelompok tani di Desa Gunungsari yang komoditi utamanya adalah bunga mawar potong. Kelompok tani ini memiliki permasalahan utama yaitu harus membeli air bersih dari desa lain untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga, dan harus mengeluarkan tenaga lebih untuk irigasi secara manual, padahal dibagian bawah lahan pertanian kelompok tani ini terdapat sumber mata air bersih dengan debit yang besar dan mengalir sepanjang tahun. Permasalahan lain yang dihadapi adalah adanya limbah berupa daun mawar yang tidak dikelola dan dimanfaatkan dengan baik, sehingga menimbulkan dampak pada lingkungan. Dari segi kelembagaan, masalah yang dihadapi oleh kelompok tani ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang teknologi dalam bidang pertanian dan rendahnya regenerasi dalam pengelolaan usaha pertanian mawar potong. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini akan memberi solusi berupa pemanfaatan pompa hidram dan pipanisasi untuk pengadaan air bersih dan irigasi, serta pengadaan sarana dan pelatihan pengomposan untuk mengolah limbah daun mawar. Dalam kelembagaan dan regenerasi, akan dilakukan penyuluhan dan kaderisasi terhadap generasi lapis sehingga keberlangsungan pertanian mawar potong ini akan berkelanjutan. Dengan adanya program ini, diharapkan akan memberi solusi bagi mitra berupa peningkatan perekonomian, peningkatan produktivitas lahan pertanian, peningkatan kualitas dan SDM berupa kemampuan pengolahan limbah pertanian, kemampuan dalam pemanfaatan dan perawatan penggunaan teknologi berupa pompa hidram , serta peningkatan kuantitas SDM produktif pada Kelompok Tani Mawar Maju III. Hasil fisik dari pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini adalah bangunan bendung air, pemasangan pompa hidram, pipanisasi dan bangunan tandon air sebagai bak tampung serta sarana pengomposan limbah daun mawar. Kualitas SDM juga mengalami peningkatan berupa pengetahuan dan skill anggota kelompok tani tentang teknologi pompa hidram dan perawatannya, serta proses pembuatan pupuk kompos. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v4i2.3807

Abstract

Environmental pollution is one of the world's problems that is in the spotlight and can be related to all aspects, one of which is social inequality and also economic problems. To solve this problem, the United Nations together with UN member countries created sustainable development goals, which have 17 goals and 169 main targets and are expected to be fully realized by 2030. One of the sustainable development goals that is the focus of attention is goal number 9 on infrastructure. , industry, and innovation. Based on these reasons, this paper will discuss sustainable architecture with reviews of various existing studies as one of the efforts to support and fulfill aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals themselves. In the discussion of this paper, the author focuses on the innovation of multifunctional public infrastructure with land use and energy efficiency as a solution to existing social problems. With this research, it is proven that the use of sustainable architecture can be a solution in overcoming the problems of land use and energy efficiency

Abstract

A glass facade is commonly used by modern building nowadays, even in the tropical area with its characteristic. Thus, buildings often face a problem with thermal comfort. Passive design strategy supposed to be considered by the architect in order to avoid inconvenience with the heat. This strategy utilized the architectural element as the tools to reach the comfort level. The aim of this study was to optimize the thermal behavior of the building itself by the modification of solar shading types and materials. EnergyPlus was used as a simulation tool in this study. The results show that solar gain exterior window can be reduced by 52,73% by using concrete louvre and wood louvre.

Abstract

Passive cooling strategy has been considered to apply due to its effectiveness. Double skin façade strategy is one of advance building façade technology in passive design. Moreover, Double skin façade-green wall is the development of conventional Double skin façade. The aim of this study is to observe and compare the performance of DSF and DSF-GW in reducing cooling energy. B-block building in Islamic University of Malang has been selected as case study. DesignBuilder-EnergyPlus was used as simulation tool in this study. The strategy of DSF and DSF-GW has been applied in along side of the building. The results show that the DSF-GW resulted best in reducing cooling energy demand up to 45% compare to conventional DSF.

Abstract

Abstrak:Desain pencahayaan alami pada bangunan rumah tinggal seringkali tidak dipertimbangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan maupun kondisi geografis dan lingkungan setempat. pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami pada daerah tropis seperti Indonesia dengan penyinaran yang cukup kuat sepanjang tahun merupakan salah satu faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan. Pada penelitian ini, desain fasad yang meliputi lebar dan posisi bukaan dari lantai serta kombinasi dengan tipe shading device bertujuan untuk memperoleh tingkat pencahayaan alami yang sesuai dengan standar kebutuhan pencahayaan pada bangunan rumah tinggal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, desain jendela selebar 0.6m dengan posisi bukaan 0.5m di R1 dan 1.5m di R2 serta penggunaan shading device berupa overhang beton 0.5m mampu menghasilkan tingkat pencahayaan dalam ruang sebesar 300 lux sebesar 50 persen dari luas ruang R2. Desain ini paling efektif dalam mencapai standar kebutuhan pencahayaan dibandingkan alternatif lainnya.Kata-kata kunci: pencahayaan alami, tingkat pencahayaan, fasad, desain bukaan shading deviceAbstract: The design of natural lighting in residential buildings is often not considered according to the needs and geographical conditions and the local environment. the use of natural lighting in tropical areas such as Indonesia with strong enough radiation throughout the year is one of the factors that must be considered. In this study, the facade design which includes the width and position of the opening from the floor as well as the combination with the type of shading device aims to obtain a level of natural lighting that is in accordance with the standard lighting needs of residential buildings. The results showed that the design of a 0.6m wide window with an opening position of 0.5m in R1 and 1.5m in R2 and the use of a shading device in the form of a 0.5m concrete overhang was able to produce an indoor lighting level of 300 lux by 50 percent of the area of R2. This design is most effective in achieving the standard of lighting requirements compared to other alternatives.Keywords: natural lighting, lighting level, facade, design of shading device openings

Abstract

Abstrak: Strategi pendinginan pasif pada bangunan menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam memperoleh kenyamanan termal dengan meminimalkan konsumsi energi pendinginan bangunan. Posisi Indonesia yang dilewati oleh garis khatulistiwa mengakibatkan terjadinya penyinaran matahari sepanjang tahun. Hal ini memerlukan sebuah perlakuan khusus terhadap bukaan pada fasad bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan melihat pengaruh tipe internal shading pada interior bangunan terhadap variabel solar gain bangunan. penggunaan tipe shading berupa venetian blind, roller shades dan drapes akan diaplikasikan pada bangunan. hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa penggunaan roller shades mampu menurunkan level solar gain sebesar 55 persen. Sedangkan penggunaan venetian blinds dan drapes memberikan hasil penurunan sebesar 31 persen dan 25 persen. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan roller shades memberikan hasil yang cukup efektif dalam menurunkan solar gain pada bangunan.Kata-kata kunci: pendinginan pasif, internal shading, solar gainAbstract: Passive cooling strategy in buildings is an alternative in obtaining thermal comfort by minimizing building cooling energy consumption. The position of Indonesia, which is crossed by the equator, results in solar radiation throughout the year. This requires a special treatment of openings in the facade of the building. This study aims to analyze and see the effect of the type of internal shading on the interior of the building on the variable solar gain of the building. the use of shading types in the form of venetian blinds, roller shades and drapes will be applied to the building. the results of this study found that the use of roller shades was able to reduce the level of solar gain by 55 percent. Meanwhile, the use of venetian blinds and drapes resulted in a decrease of 31 percent and 25 percent, respectively. From this research, it can be concluded that the use of roller shades gives quite effective results in reducing solar gain in buildings.Keywords: passive cooling, internal shading, solar gain

Abstract

Building façade plays significant role in building energy efficiency and sustainability. Double Skin Façade (DSF) strategy comes as one of solution in advance building façade design technology. The aim of this study is to observe the performance of DSF configuration (air gap width) and materials in terms of reducing cooling energy for energy efficiency in case study buildings in hot humid climate in Taiwan. DesignBuilder- EnergyPlus was used as simulation tool in this study. Two scenario based on the placement of DSF strategy were conducted. The results show that combination of 1.2m air gap and double glazed Low E could reduce the cooling energy demand up to 31.28%. This study proved that DSF strategy is possible to be applied on hot humid climate such as Taiwan.

Abstract

Lighting strategy in a building play important role, especially for building with specific function like a small community library in Supiturang. An appropriate lighting design will help user inside the building doing their activities comfortably. The daylight as the primary source of lighting in a building which also can save electricity energy should utilized well. This paper promotes the use of mix model lighting strategies between natural and artificial lighting in order to reach visual comfort inside the building. Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Malang take place as an academics to share knowledge in the society in Supiturang village. The mixed used design of natural and artificial design strategy was used to save electricity energy in building and optimize the visual comfort for reading activities. Methods that used in this community service activity were interview, field survey to get building physical data and simulation of lighting design. During the covid-19 situation, in the beginning there was a problem in executing this activity. Since the policy on the village was not allowing to gather many people in the small community library, of Supiturang village, thus the proposed design was only explained to the head of the Supiturang village as the policy holders. Abstract

Masjid Assualaiman merupakan salah satu fasilitas umum warga bareng raya yang berada di wilayah RW 01, Kelurahan Bareng, Kota Malang. Gagasan perluasan masjid merupakan permintaan dari masyarakat sekitar yang membutuhkan sarana prasarana masjid untuk mewadahi aktivitas ibadah masyarakat sekitar yang mulai berkembang terhadap fungsi lainnya yang sifatnya tetap yaitu pendidikan TPQ dan kebutuhan ruang secretariat untuk pihak pengelola masjid dan fungsi temporer lain seperti pengajian akbar dan sholawatan yang membutuhkan ruang yang lebih luas. Hal inilah yang menjadi latar belakang dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh tim dari Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Malang. Metode konsultasi dan diskusi dilakukan sebagai dasar dibuatnya perencanaan pengembangan masjid Assulaiman. Basic konsep arsitektur berkelanjutan diterapkan pada analisis dan rencana pengembangan masjid, sehingga ajuan rencana pengembangan masjid merupakan desain yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap kondisi iklim dan lingkungan sekitar. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa produk gambar rencana 2D dan 3D yang digunakan sebagai acuan pelaksanaan renovasi pengembangan  masjid Assualaiman, kelurahan Bareng, kota Malang

Abstract

The decision on the priority for care and maintenance at Alfamidi Minimarket uses the AHP method to evaluate the decision for building care and maintenance to predict any potential damage to Alfamidi Minimarket. Thus, numerous complaints may be reduced, and building quality can be maintained to assure customer safety and comfort while shopping at Alfamidi Minimarket. The objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to determine the condition analysis of Alfamidi Minimarket in Malang, (2) to obtain a priority scale for implementing care and maintenance at Alfamidi Minimarket in Malang using the AHP method and Expert Choice V.11 Application modeling. This research applied a quantitative approach with a descriptive analysis technique; the sampling procedure was purposive sampling, and 13 Alfamidi Minimarkets in Malang served as the sample. The subjects of the research were Alfamidi and shop employees. The data collection method used a form about the building condition and a priority weighting questionnaire as supporting data. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can be utilized in making decisions since it systematically has multi-criteria properties to describe a problem. The analysis results show that: (1) The average condition of Alfamidi Minimarket in Malang based on the building condition index shows a good category with a percentage of 82.0669% with an average architectural component index (IKK) of 77.8%, a structural IKK of 97.75 %, Utilities IKK was 88.28%, and Environmental Management IKK was 63.0%. (2) According to the priority results, Alfamidi Dieng had the lowest building condition index at 78.99%, while Alfamidi Sigura-Gura had the highest at 85.82% Keywords: Priority; Care and Maintenance Building; AHP Method.
