Abstract

This research have the purpose to know the correlation ability to understanding novel contents to the literature learning outcomes of the students SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo, Ampibabo Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong regency; the correlation ability to understanding novel contents with the ability to understanding intrinstic element to the literature appreciation learning outcomes of the students SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo, ampibabo subdistrict, Parigi moutong regency. This research implemented in the SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo, Ampibabo Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong regency. The method of this research analyzed by descriptive and data analysis by inferensial. Descriptive analysis include describing, central tendention and disseminating tendention, the distribution composing score frequent and his histogram. Whereas the data analysis by inferensial used to hiphotesis trial utility. The research outcomes showing average score which getting by the twelfth grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo parigi moutong regency which have correlation with the ability to understanding the novel contents categoryzed was able, with the average score 75,36. For the second hypthotesis, according to the significant between the ability to understand the intrinstic element with the literature appreciation learning outcomes. The simple crrelation analisys (r) founded correlation between novel contents element understanding and instrinsic element understanding to the literature appreciation learning outcomes of the students SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo, ampibabo Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong regency (r) is 0,792. There is a positive correlation between the ability to understanding the novel contents with the ability to understanding instrinsic element to the literature appreciation learning outcomes based on the data analysis outcomes can be explain that the ability to understanding the novel contents and the ability to understanding the instrinsic elements to the literature appreciation learning outcomes of the twelfth grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo by an individual or a group have a positive correlation. However, the strong with the R score is 82,1%.

Abstract

On the observation, it was found that most students of thr grade V didi not have good ability in speaking Indonesia language. When Indonesia language is used orally, the students tend to use it incorrectly and unclearly. The results in different meaning such as “lagu” and “ragu” and interupted use when both asking and responding questions. This research aimed at (1) finding out and analysing the improvement of students’ speaking ability of the grade V of SDN model Terpadu Madani Palu through scientific approach, and (2) finding out the use of scientific approach in improving the students’ speaking ability of grade V of SDN Model Terpadu Madani. This was classroom action research and the subjects were grade V students of SDN Model Terpadu Madani. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle went through observing, asking, collecting and processing information, drawing conclusion, and recomending. The reseach showed that the use of scientific approach can improve the students’ ability in speaking. Based on the result in Cycle I, there was an average improvement in some aspects: pronu ciation 2.59; structure, 2.64; vocabulary, 2.59; patience, 2.82; voice volume, 2.68; fluency, 2.64; and comprehension, 2.59. The students’ speaking ability was 2.65. In cycle I, the problem was the students’ activity was not optimal. The effort was to improve the instructional scenario and encourage the students. Icycle II, the results are pronunciation, 3.59; structure, 3.41; vocabulary, 3.64; patience, 3.50;,voice volume, 3.64; fluency, 3.50 and comprehension, 3.59. The students’ speaking ability has reached 3.55. This result indicates that use of scientific approach can improve the student’ speaking ability of grade V of SDN Model Terpadu Madani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi, kesalahan, dan masalah menulis siswa. Jenisnya adalah deskriptif. Subjeknya adalah siswa kelas dua pada jurusan Akuntansi di SMK PGRI Palu. Intrumen penilitian ini adalah tulisan siswa, angket, dan wawancara. Tehnik analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis hasil tulisan siswa berdasarkan kriteria klasifikasi komponen menulis dan kemudian mengidentifikasi kesalahan yang terdapat dalam tulisan. Angket dan wawancara digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang di hadapi siswa dalam menulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, kemampuan menulis siswa pada komponen kerangka dan mekanika tulisan adalah baik hingga cukup. Isi dan kosakata dikategorikan cukup hingga sedang . Sementara tata bahasa di kategorikan sangat kurang. Frekuensi kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam tulisan siswa berjumlah 439. Terdapat 143 bilan frekuensi kesalahan pada penggunanaan kata kerja. Kemudian terdapat 110 frekuensi kesalahan pada kesesuian antara subjek dan predikat. Frekuensi kesalahan terkecil ditemukan pada penggunaan artikel. Terdapat 15 frekuensi kesalahan pada artikel. Ketiga, masalah yang paling umum dihadapi siswa adalah penguasaan tata bahasa, dan pengetahuan awal. Terdapat tujuh siswa yang menyatakan bahwa penguasaan tata bahasa adalah masalah yang paling sering dihadapi dalam kategori unsure kebahasaan dan delapan siswa yang menyatakan pengetahuan awal sebagai masalah dominan pada kategori diluar unsure kebahasaan.   Kemampuan menulis siswa juga banyak di pengaruhi oleh kurangnya penguasaan kosakata. Selain itu siswa juga mengalami kendala dalam mengembangkan ide pokok tulisan mereka. Serta kesalahan yang sering dibuat oleh siswa dalam menulis banyak dipengaruhi oleh bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Based on the background of this research, The problem of the study are formulated in the following questions “what is the implementation of a group investigation model can improve learning writing news text of eight grade students at SMPN 12 Sigi and How is the improvement of ability by using  group investigation model to the learning writing news text of eight grade students at SMP N 12 Sigi ? this research aimed to describe the implementation of group investigation model to the larning writing  text of eight grade students at SMPN 12 Sigi and for describing the improvement of ability by using writing news text investigation model of ninth grade students at SMPN 12 Sigi. The kind of this research is clasroom action research that implemented with a cycle. Each of cycle, there are 4 (four) steps research, 1). Planning steps, 2). Action, 3). Observing, and 4). Reflection. The research result found that the assesment of  the news element completeness aspect at the cycle I ( 31,81% ) and cycle II (77,27%). The presentation of appropriateness aspect at the cycle I (68,18%) and cycle II (100%). The Using of sentence aspect at the cycle I (77,27%) and cycle II (77,27%). The using of vocabulary  aspect at the cycle I (63,63%) and cycle II (100%). The interesting of topic aspect at the cycle I (72,72%) and cycle II (90%). The using of accuracy spelling aspect at the cycle I (68,18%) and cycle II (100%). At the cycle I the completeness percentage achieving only (31,81%) and cycle II occur the improvement become (77,27%). The sixth aspect happen improvement from cycle I to cycle II. At the cycle I the average completeness percentage  (7,4) and cycle II occur the imrovement and the completeness average percentage become (8,6).

Abstract

Based at the first reflection outcomes that have done by the researcher in the SD Inpres 2 Bantaya, it founded the information that the student ability in the writing poetry still have low. The indicator founded that the scores average of the students was 60 scores. Whereas, the minimal completeness achieved score was 70 scores. The students have the difficult to expresses their mind and feelling in the poetry form. This research focussed to increasing poetry writing ability at the fourth grade student of SD Inpres 2 Bantaya with using modelling method, the problem statement in this research is how to applicate the modelling method to increasing poetry writing ability at the fourth grade student of SD Inpres 2 Bantaya with using modelling method. The nstrument that used to supports this research are : (1) first observation sheet (2) Observation sheet, (3) Reflection sheet, (4) Interview sheet, (5) Evaluation Sheet. Based on the finding and research outcomes that have done at the cycle I (53,46%) at the first meeting and (63,33%) at the second meeting. The implementation in the cycle II, the first meeting achieve (76,01%), and the second meeting achieve (86,33%). It is show that modelling method was effective to increasing poetry writing ability at the sixth grade student of SD Inpres 2 Bantaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian tindakan kelas secara kolaboratif. Peneliti dan kolaborator bekerja sama dalam melaksanakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi dan refleksi selama penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa EFL Jurusan Akuntansi (AK1) di semester I tahun akademik 2015/2016. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 24 siswa. Peneliti adalah dosen bahasa Inggris yang mengajar bahasa Inggris di kelas AK1 ini. Dia memilih kelas ini sebagai subjek penelitian karena mahasiswa di kelas ini merasa sulit untuk mengembangkan ide-ide ke dalam paragraf deskriptif. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan dalam dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Pertemuan pertama difokuskan pada pra-menulis dan penyusunan, pertemuan kedua difokuskan pada merevisi, dan pertemuan ketiga adalah editing dan penerbitan. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan, skema dan kinerja menulis mahasiswa selama pelaksanaan tindakan. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi menulis berbasis proses efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam paragraf deskriptif. Efek dari strategi ini didukung oleh persentase klasik mahasiswa dari 13 mahasiswa (52%) yang mendapat nilai sama dengan atau lebih besar dari 70 pada siklus 1 menjadi 21 mahasiswa (84%) yang mendapat nilai sama dengan atau lebih besar dari 70 dalam siklus 2. Selain itu, proses berbasis proses sebagai strategi pengajaran dalam keterampilan menulis mengajar efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan menulis siswa melalui gambar berseri. Penelitian ini didesain sebagai penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di MTs Alkhairaat Mamboro. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas Delapan, terdiri dari 11 siswa dan 9 siswi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus melalui langkah-langkah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Peneliti dan kolaboratornya mengumpulkan data melalui lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, dan butir soal menulis. Data dianalisa secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data yang didapatkan dari tes diabalisa secara kuantitatif sedangkan data dari lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan tidak dianalisa secara kuantitatif. Kriteria kesuksesan adalah siswa harus meraih nilai individu 65 dan harus dicapai oleh lebih dari 75% siswa dari total jumlah siswa dikelas. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan terdapat 5 siswa (25%) yang meraih criteria kesuksesan dipertemuan pertama dan 6 siswa (30%) dipertemuan kedua (siklus 1). Sedangkan disiklus 2, terdapat 14 siswa (70%) yang mencapai criteria kesuksesan dipertemuan pertama dan 17 siswa (85%) dipertemuan kedua. Hasil dari siklus dua menunjukkan keberhasilan siswa mencapai criteria kesuksesan. Hal ini mengindikasikan teknik gambar berseri mampu mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks recount.

Abstract

Language in the class learning activity is communication interaction reality which continuing. The teacher must be able to communicate, and manage the class with well to create learning atmosphere is fun and have the meaning for the student. In this research related with the directive teacher and student speech action. The problem which solved consist 3 matters, there are (1) The form, (2) and, (3) Directive teacher and student speech action strategy in the learning of the third grade student at SDN Tipo Palu ?. this research have the purpose to describe the using of directive action which consist (1) form, (2) function, and (3) Directive teacher and student speech action strategy in the learning of the third grade student at SDN Tipo Palu. The method which using is descriptive qualitative method. The data accumulation was done with two techniques, there are (1) recording and (2) observation. The research subject are teacher and the third grade student at SDN Tipo Palu. Data Analysis technique in this research is interactive model. Analysis in the research include 4 steps, there are (1). Data accumulation, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) verification/conclusion. The result of the research showing that in the larning of third grade student at SDN Tipo Palu, consist at the form : (1) Command, (2) statement, (3) question, (4) requesting, (5) prohibit. The function directive action which found at the result of the research consist by (1) command function, (2) statement function, (3) Question Function, (4) requesting function, and (5) Prohibit function. There are (1) command function is to do the other people to do something which desired. (2) statement function is functioned as give an information to the opponent speech. (3) the function of question sentence is to request the answer like an explanation to exhume an information, to clarify, or confirm. (4) request function is to request or prohibit someone to doing something. (5) the function of prohibit sentence is to prohibit people or a group of people to not doing something. The strategy which using in the directive action consist by direct strategy and indirect strategy. Directive speech strategy which many shows is speech action directive direct strategy. There is the speech action directive indirect at this research in the learning process of the third grade student at SDN Tipo Palu only two strategies, there are statement strategy and prohibit strategy, are (1) indirect strategy in the question, and (2) indirect strategy in the prohibit. There is direct strategy consist of : (1) direct strategy in the command, (2) strategy in the statement, (3) direct strategy in the question, (4) direct strategy in the requesting, and (5) direct strategy in the prohibit.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan mendengar siswa kelas XI Agama 2 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Palu melalui monolog. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah monolog. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, Dimana peneliti sengaja memilih kelas XI Agama 2 siswa Madrasah Aliyah negeri 2 Model Palu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Tes dibagi menjadi 2; pre-test dan post-test, Berdasarkan hasilpre-test dan post-test peneliti menemukan bahwa t-hitung adalah 7,98. Dengan menerapkan 0,05 signifikansi dan 28 derajat kebebasan (df), peneliti menemukan bahwa t-table adalah 1.701. ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung lebih tinggi dari t-table. Ini berarti bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima. Dengan kata lain, Keterampilan mendengarkan siswa kelas XI Agama 2 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Palu dapat ditingkatkan melalui monolog.

Abstract

The title of this research “The Interference  of Buginese to the using Indonesian Language In the Sioyong Traditioal Market Donggala Regency”, the problem of this reearch is (1). How is the Buginese Interference form to the using indonesian language in the sioyong traditional market of Donggala regency, (2). What are the cause interference of buginese factors to the using indonesian language in the sioyong traditional market donggala regency happen. The purpose of this research are : (1) To describe the cause interference of buginese factors to the using indonesian language in the Sioyong traditional market donggala regency happen. The data accumulation was done by some of the techniques. There are: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation, and (4) Fieldwork notes. There are two sources data. They are primary and secondary data. The method that used in this analysis data is descriptive qualitative method and the data analysis technique was done by (1) Data Accumulation, (2) Data reduction, (3) Data presentation steps (4) concluding step. According of this research could take the some of concludes: the interference happening at : (1). Phonology Interference is the changes of phonem /o/ to be /u/, Phonemes /e/ be /i/, the missing of Phoneme /e/, /h/ and /k/ (2). Morphology interference, (a) affixation interference; is the prefix {pem-} be {pen-}, {pe-} be {pa-}, {ter-} be {ta-}, the using of enclitic {-pi}and {-kik}, and (b) lexical Interference are verb interference, noun interference, adjective interference, question word interference, and numeral word interference. (3) Syntactic interference is the changes of the structure sentence pattern of indonesian language which interferenced by buginese. There are (a) Phrase interference, and (b) Clause Interference.
