Acceleration of national development increases the number of construction projects in Indonesia, including road projects. The contractor as the service provider in the implementation of the construction work shall have a detailed implementation schedule and project cost budget plan so that the construction work shall not be subject to delays and cost overrun. The main thing that can cause cost overrun is the error in cost estimation. In this study discusses the modeling of increasing the accuracy of cost estimation as well as the development of factors that can improve the accuracy of cost estimation. Validation of research variables was done to experts using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and modeling using Structural Equation ModelingPartial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method to project contractor of Public Works Department of Central Kalimantan Province and National Road Implementation Center XI Unit Work of Central Kalimantan with contract value of project worth 20 Billion to 50 Billion Rupiah Year 2016. The result of variable validation shows the competence variable of estimator, survey, availability of information, calculation of cost estimation and internal company is variable which influence estimation The obtained modeling equation is AEB = 0,129 KE + 0.466 S + 0,191 KI + 0,153 PEB + 0,069 IP + 0,181 ζ. The development of cost estimation is done by improving each influential indicator in each variable and applying development strategies to increase the estimated cost estimation based on SWOT analysis.Â

Batu Ampar Terminal Balikpapan is the only type A passenger terminal in Balikpapan City. The purpose of this study is to determine the operational performance of the terminal at this time and also to determine the level of service in the terminal. The results of this study indicate that for FIFO queue discipline analysis on AKDP and AKAP bus lines, it is known that Ï <1 means that there is currently no queue in the terminal. For the analysis of terminal facilities it is known that there are still some terminal facilities that are not yet available from the main facilities and supporting facilities, therefore the need for additional facilities in order to meet the standard of passenger terminal type A. In the next 15 years analysis for traffic intensity value is approaching 1 which means in the future will cause the queue in the terminal, so it is necessary for the improvement of terminal performance. For the service performance with IPA method there are 35 variables that there are 7 variables that enter in quadrant I. In the next step to do analysis to know the priority of handling by using QFD method.Â

Arterial, collector, and local are the hierarchy of road function in urban areas. Each of them is composed by primary and secondary road network. Certain road functions have certain criterion. Those criterion help in determining the type of design vehicle. Dimensionals and turning radius of the design vehicle are related to road geometric, i.e. the lane width and the widening of horizontal curve and intersection. The aim of this research is to check the suitability of road function criterion with the intersection geometric condition at Dipatiukur and Hasanuddin streets in Bandung. Those streets are chosen because they experience a change of the design vehicle dimension. Dipatiukur street has a secondary collector function, while Hasanuddin street has a secondary local function. Pd.T-18-2004-B, the guideline about a determination of road function classification in urban areas, stated that bus is not permitted to get through a local secondary road. In fact, DAMRI bus line 7 can get through Hasanuddin street. The result of checking the suitability of road function criterion can be seen from both design speed and the width of the road. If the vehicle designed is a car, it can be concluded that those two streets meet the requirements. Meanwhile, the result of checking the intersection geometric condition shows that the turning radius, entering sight distance, and the path for a bus are not appropriate with Pt.T 02-2002-B guideline about a Geometric Intersection Designing Procedure and a Geometric Designing Procedure for Inter-Urban Road Numb. 038/TBM/1997.

The use of bending structure components becomes economical if the cross section of the beam follows the moment-diagram form. In this research is a simple beam with concentrated load in the middle of the span, so that the height of the beam is maximum in the middle of span, too. The research purpose is to obtain the bending capacity and to know the buckling behavior for optimum design. The results are compared with theoretical calculations, and ANSYS validation. Concluded of this research that the larger the tapered constant, the greater the bending capacity. The smaller the tapered angle the greater bending capacity. For the same tapered angle with higher h max, the bending capacity is also greater. The collapse occurring on this beam is the lateral torsional buckling.

Plate girder is a composition from of several pieces of plate elements that have high slender ratio. Buckling on web is the main problem. Corrugated web is an innovation to resolve buckling problems. This research aims to get the effect of fold angle to shear capacity and get the collapse behavior that occurred. The research was conducted on a full scale in the laboratory and the ANSYS validation. This research concludes that the shear capacity of a flat-plate girder (conventional) will be increase by about 41% by making corrugated web geometric. In this research, the collapse occured in conventional girder plate is the collapse due to diagonal shear buckling in the area of 1/3 support, while for the collapse of the corrugated web girder is the collapse of torsion.

Earth Dam stability can be affected significantly by the existence of excessive leakage. This is due to decreasing of shear strength of the dam material and additional overturning moment. In such scenario, the non-destructive soil investigation method is needed to analyze the stability of earth dam in current condition. This paper examines the use of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) to investigate soil layers and to measure parameters of soil shear strength indirectly. First survey was carried out at dam crest and downstream using Wenner Configuration along profile lines at electrode spacing of 5 m. There were 5 profile lines of 180m long each and 10m distance of spacing. Furthermore, two profiles lines at weak cross-section based on its resistivity soil values were undertaken. Laboratory tests were conducted to determine relationship between resistivity value, moisture content, cohesion and angle of friction for each type of dam materials. From the ERT results and lab testing, a model dam can be obtained using current material parameters to perform stability analysis of dam subjected to earthquake. The lowest FOS was found at the upstream side about 1.15 and at the downstream side about 1.14 after applying seismic load of 100 years return period.

Cracking is one of the structural behaviors reviewed under the service boundary conditions. Cracks will be the gaps in the various substances in the reinforced concrete structures that will make the structure vulnerable. The fragility of building structures due to exposure to high temperatures or fires can be observed from the behavior of structures when the boundary conditions and maximum crack widths become one of the conditions to how the strength of the structure can survive. This research aims to find how big influence of high temperature on reinforced concrete beam especially to crack width. The test performed is a bending test with a beam-sized test object (10 x 15 x 120) cm. The variation of this research is normal reinforced concrete beam (BN), exposed to temperature 400°C (BS1), exposure temperature 600°C (BS2), and exposure temperature of 800°C. The results show that the decrease of bending strength from normal temperature to 400°C is 10%, from normal temperature to 600°C at 22% and from normal temperature to 800°C at 29%. For the average crack width at normal beam load load of 0,148 mm, then for 400°C beam decrease and the average crack width is 0,095 mm. For the average crack width when the load of beam service 600°C increased and gained 0,696 mm, for beam of 800°C crack width at service load 0,276 decreased compared to beam 600°C.
