Abstract

Citizen Business Group of Mekar Asih Panumbangan still uses conventional way to cut Eceng Gondok which is one of the components of duck woof mixture with using a knife. Therefore,they need a tool to cut the eceng gondok in order to be safe, effective and eficient. Eceng Gondok Cutting Machine which is named Apendok is made to increase the duck woof productivity of Citizen Business Group of Mekar Asih Panumbangan. The methodologies which were used in this project are identifying the problems and requirements,. The identification results was considered to design the eceng gondok cutting machine . Then, doing component manufacturing and assembly. After that, doing the trial and analysis and then deciding the conclusion. Apendok has been made with 1,2 kg/minutes or 72 kg/hour cutting capacity, 3/4 Hp power, 10 blades which is made of stainlesssteel. The advantages of Apendok are more effective, efficient, safety and has the big capacity, so that it could increase the duck woof productivity of Citizen Business Group of Mekar Asih Panumbangan.

Abstract

In the 21st century, lots of company around the world already uses automation system to help their business. As we learn in Economic Principles, to get the maximum profit, we need to suppress the production cost. Now in Dewa-Dewi Poultry Farm, they still not adapt the automation system, use lots of worker and needs lots of cost. This problem gives us an idea to apply the automation system to reduce the worker cost, Poultry Farm can use water censor to automatically give the chicken some water, with this automation system, it will make the drink of the chicken always filled.

Abstract

Rice in a majority of states derived from rice fields of the countryside. However, the complicated problems of farmers in the countryside to erect manage their fields is the high cost of milling process that is happening in our network-based business group kelurahan Karangmalang. For that we make an effort ricemill machine to help kemompok farm. Ricemill machine itself is an existing machine with which we try to provide the innovation that is the process of combining paddy slep machine or a machine that is commonly called skinner with machine polishers paddy rice grain that has been peeled up quicker and practical in use. Specifications of this machine that is Model N-70-F with dimensions 112x44x74 cm. This machine has a capacity as large as 1100-1200 kg / hr with its size and rotational 10-11 KW 750-850 rpm and weighs 185 kg and Model HW60-A with dimensions 135x79x150 cm, this machine has a capacity as large as 1200 kg / hour with a force of 7 kw and 1,050 rpm spin machine size and weight of the machine 80 kg.

Abstract

Acquirement oxygen supply to the pond ecosystem (aeration) is one of the essential needs for fish farmers. They mostly use diesel combined with a windmill as a tool for aeration (aerator). Operating and maintenance of diesel engine are big budget. Meanwhile value of renewable energy in the coastal area is very big such as the wind energy. It is also experienced by UD. Sumber Tani, Surabaya. There is a concept of Eco Aerator as renewably technological for innovation. That is the aerator with a simple concept using the vertical axis windmill technology and Archimedes screw to replacement diesel engine. Using vertical axis wind technology, the mill is able to rotate in any wind direction making it suitable to coastal areas that have the characteristics of the wind direction changing to move Archimedes screw. It is also have stability in rotational motion. The advantages of eco aerator is no need to have a continuous wind speed, because of its function as a supplier of dissolved oxygen into the water that does not have to constantly supply such as a generator of electricity, it is enough 10 hours a day like a pond aerator farmers. The application of this technology is very simple, easy to operate and low budget.

Abstract

SME partners making brem business activity is managed by Mrs. Sukiati at Kaliabu village located at Madiun. Based on observations and interviews conducted by the team this PKM SME partners that the data obtained in the pressing process to take the juice of raw material is done manually. White glutinous pressing process (raw material brem) was performed using a less efficient equipment (12kg/process limited capacity). Besides, the pressing tool is not hygienic (wood and bamboo). Purpose of this activity is to improve productivity of SMEs with indicators: (1) accelerate the process of pressing sticky tape material originally brem 150 kg/day to 300 kg/day; (2) improve the quality of production, due to the changing methods performed manually are now becoming more hygienic. Expected outcomes of the event realization sticky tape pressing machine of the hydraulic system as a raw material brem. The result of activities are: (1) the realization of sticky tape pressing machine hydraulic system, (2) the process of pressing sticky tape material brem be over 2 times faster than the original 150 kg/day to 300 kg/day, (3) qualities brem production increases, because the pressing tool originally done using wood and bamboo are now becoming more hygienic done by machine.

Abstract

Boyolali the county as well as agricultural areas are also a lot of people who are self-employed in the field of fisheries. One of the villages in the district of Palm Boyolali Tegalrejo is precisely in the village is the center of catfish farmers or village is often referred to as the catfish, because this area irrigation system is easy, but the land is not so fertile. in addition many are also many who cultivate farming/livestock catfish, tilapia fish and nag. At one point sometimes abundant fish harvest/surplus, then comes the idea of a housewife, how dishes of fish not only cooked and eaten (fried, baked) then made other kinds of fish dishes that made shredded. Besides durable was no less prestige with shredded cow. This iterative refinement turns made while held good and prospected. Even until the laboratory tests conducted on non cholesterol UGM turns, making it suitable for toddlers, seniors and people who prioritize health in general. In order to accommodate the harvest of fish farmers/fish farmers so established SMEs. The SME SME named MAMI (dharma mina) is located in the village Tegalrejo. The main problem faced by the SMEs is the supporting equipment production process. The equipment is the dominant fryer, presses (drainer) and oven. The desire of SMEs will increase its production capacity, however there is the most urgent problem is the tool presses (drainer) after completion of the oil pan. Equipment presses (drainer) is still very manual is the model of the lever. By looking at the condition of the course, SMEs need assistance and a touch of technology to speed up the production process. Program for Appropriate Technology development will result in a tool that serves to relieve the burden on small industries in order to increase revenue and productivity as well as a discourse for small industries, that this tool can be used for other waste treatment especially fibrous. In general, the economic potential of the products obtained, among others: the cost of making cheap instruments, oil draining process can be completed. Viewed from the side of science and technology, there are two value-added utilization of appropriate technology, and use of Tilapia and fish dishes nag as an alternative, which is a shredded. The design tool is simple, but has a very high benefit. The methodology used in the field survey, determine the capacity of the machine, machine design, manufacture, testing machines, evaluation. From the results of this engineering tool, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Equipment shredded oil drainer result of this design can work well, as expected. (2) Equipment drainer shredded fish small industry is very helpful in the process of making the shredded fish as an alternative side dish.

Abstract

Orienteering is a kind of sport that requires navigational skill to use a map and compass well. In fact, availability of the navigation maps as important thing in Orienteering competitions, especially in Indonesia, not available enough, and that is one of problems the sport can’t grow well in this country. EAGLE, Environmental Geographers Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, is an innovation that use of unmanned aerial vehicle to produce the digital aerial photography for making navigation map in the Orienteering sport as a solution to solve the problem that faced by partner.EAGLE has a sensor camera that equipped with accurate navigation and flight remote control system, and has data link communications system that continually able to transmit the plane status, targets and information of remote sensing with digital image format as real time. Furthermore, EAGLE has a lightweight that make it easy to do maneuver and practical to use. The digital aerial photography of EAGLE also allows for digital image processing and analysis of spatial to generate elevation information and spatial modeling. EAGLE is a long-term investment for availability remote sensing data as a solution for the problem that faced by the partner, Federasi Orienteering Nasional Indonesia, as a leader organization of orienteering sport in Indonesia.

Abstract

Often times, the waiter exhausted, tired and bored in their duties and lead to faulty work. Robots that will be made is a mobile robot that is based intelligent robot line follower waitresses who will follow the specified trajectory line towards the customer tables ordering food.Making intelligent robot waiter consists of 3 stages. First, hardware, software and mechanics design. Secondly, manufacturing system consisting of electronic, mechanical design and system programming. Third, troubleshooting and refinement tool to make sure tools can work well. This robot will follow the black track line from kitchen to the dining tables of customers.

Abstract

During the cashew fruit growers only use cashews to be sold and processed into cashew nuts. While the fruit is not utilized optimally because the cashew fruit flavors tastes not good and can cause itching. In the Winton area are SMEs that develop the production of jam and hours. Constraints faced by SMEs are the tools which they use tools conventional pasteurization, the heat treatment of the jam and hours performed over the fire in a saucepan and cook until the temperature of 800C which is known to jam thermometer dipped into being heated and heating times of uncertainty, the method does not necessarily guarantee the quality of the jam, so pasteurization is developing automated tools. Tool automatically pasteurization as a means substitution of conventional pasteurization methods, equipped with a thermostat temperature, stirrer and timer and also ultra violet light. The tool is then tested to provide heat treatment on the jam clock with temperature and 610C for 30 minutes. It is expected that with this tool pasteurization process can take place with the first stage of which will boost the production capacity of 750 bottles / day of initial capacity of 100 bottles / day. Increased capacity followed by an increase in profit, when the production capacity of 100 bottles / day with a selling price of butter and jam USD $ 3000.00 per bottle, SMEs only make a profit of Rp 300,000.00 / day, while after reaching production capacity of 500 bottles / day at a price the same sales profit reached Rp 2,250,000.00 gained / day. Also expected product will be more hygienic and durable and able to reduce costs during the production process. So the cashew fruit can be processed into jams and soon to avoid congested hour of raw materials.

Abstract

In a small industrial slippers, sandals profile pengeplongan process is a process that takes a relatively long time (manual system). This resulted in most of the demand could not be met. In addition to the fuel efficiency is still low, it is because the material cutting process occurs according to the length of the rest of the sandals so much material is wasted. Planning press machine should be able to cut the sponge slippers used as an ingredient for the manufacture of slippers. The calculation starts from data collection materials, then searched the force required in order to direncanankan diameter cylinders are used, and the selection of pneumatic components. Furthermore done circuit design and assembly. Final level of testing tools for success. From the calculation, the force required for 5243.3 N with operating pressure 0.7 N/mm2 and 100 mm diameter pneumatic cylinders.
