Abstract

UKM Mulyasari is one of the starfruit juice producers in Agrosuko, Poncokusumo Malang. This UKM has beed produce since 2011 that have 4 employes with 50 carton/week and omzet Rp. 1000.000/week. UKM Mulyasari stillused conventional filtration filter system which causesseveral problemssuch as the formation of deposits, murky juiced produced, and short-shelf life of the starfruit juice. Therefore, we used ultrafiltration machine with polysulphone membrane and mesh as the filter medium to overcome these problem. Apllication of machine ultrafilration as well known MORFIN (Modified Ultrafiltration Machine) able to produce star fruit which reduce the bacterial ultrafiltration up to 85,5%, reduce pectin up to 53,33% and reduce the number of total dissolved solids up to 46,36%. Futhermore, a shellf life of fruit juice also increase from 10 days to 2 week, increasing of production from 50 cartons to 100 cartons eveery week, increasing of effectiveness workwhichrequires onlyone-timefiltrationfor 25minutes and development and diversification product in UKM Mulyasari.Keywords: Star fruit Juice, Murky, Filtration, Polyulphone, MORFIN

Abstract

Corn ( Zea Mays L ) is the main food source of the world after rice and wheat. The demand for these commodities experienced thus increasing production of maize to the attention of many people. In Indonesia, the planting of the seed corn is still done traditionally caused due to mismatch condition of land with modern technology that has been made, besides the price factor for a mechanical corn cropping tool less attractive to farmers. So farmers still use traditional cropping tool which impact on the length of time required when planting. Sepatagung present provide appropriate solutions. Corn planting tool in the form of semi-mechanical drill is suitable for use by Indonesian farmers because agriculture in accordance with Indonesian culture, in addition to a more ergonomic, use sepatagung also has a working capacity which is almost equal to the mechanical planting equipment. The method used is to make a direct cropping tool that has been integrated with the shoes and make modifications to the shoe. Abstract

Sprayer is a pesticide applicator tool which is used to control pests and plant diseases. The main problem of the hand sprayer is that it has to be picked up, so that the farmers should deal with the weight. A sprayer, that takes gasoline motor or batteries as power source, will manage the operating and maintenance costs high. Based on these problems, the idea to innovate the hand sprayer arises, by modifying it to be semi-automatic sprayer, which is carry-free and energy saving. The principle work is the use of force resulted by wheel rotational motion, converted into translational motion to drive the pump rod as the air compressor. The air produced by the pump, is routed through the hose, and is then mixed with the sprayed fluid. Its dimension has a width of 44 cm, a length of 67 cm, and a heigth of 55 cm, so it can be used in chili plants area, and vegetables which are generally 60 cm distance in block. The use of semi-automatic sprayer will address the needs and problems faced by farmers, which is more cost-effective treatments, more efficient in crop spraying, and lighter in use, thereby it increases the farmers’ efficiency and productivity. Based on the experiments and analyses that have been done before, semi-automatic sprayer is able to increase farmers productivity up to 112%.Keywords: hand sprayer, agriculture, semi automatic, sprayer.

Abstract

Kerupuk is one of complementary food almost in all Indonesia’s food. Kerupuk has function to increase taste because its delicious and consist of many variation. On of kerupuk producen is Mrs.Muayanah. Mrs.Muayanah has produced kerupuk for ten years. However, her business is stagnant because limited stuffs and her stuffs still simple so can’t produce in big number especially drying process which take longest time of all production process. From that description, we try to give solution designing solar oven to increase kerupuk productivity. APKOSTRIK is dryer which use solar and reflect it to the object (kerupuk) to help drying process by using solar collector. By reflecting and focusing solar sun, it will increase received hot energy till maximal and less time needed. Another that, solar also absosrbed by copper plate and temperature will keep increasing because copper plate absorb hot energy from direct solar and reflected one to increase drying speed. Room also affect drying process because room is isolated by alumunium. This simple functional oven can help increasing kerupuk productivity and profit because without any complicated knowledge or experiences everyone can use it. Abstract

Milk can deteriorate fast since milk contains high nutrient contents such as lactose, fat, protein and pH of milk is close to neutral pH which very suitable for the growth of microorganisms. Pasteurization is used to kill all pathogen and mostly spoilage bacteria, and degradate enzymes. “Natural Probiotic” is a home industry in field milk production in Malang region, it still using conventional methods in milk pasteurization, heating process using fire from stove. “Natural Probiotic” have problem on pasteuritaion process, this problem influence milk pasteurized as raw material for milk product, which produce low quality of yoghurt and kefir. It can identified how to design a milk pasteurizer machine that simple and user friendly. The purpose of this program was to solve the UMKM “Natural Probiotic” problem on the quality of milk product using Wave Pasteurization Control (WPC) which is a simple machine, user friendly and efficient in pathogen and spoilage bacteria killing, enzyme inactivation, minimize protein denaturation. WPC developed continuously operating heat treatment, capable of controlling milk flow during heat treatment in spiral glass. The Mechanism of WPC used HTST system with temperature 72°C collecting with spiral glass as milk low in microwave, it is make even heating. Milk heating by microwave results from the conversion of microwave energy into heat by friction of water vibrating due to rapid fluctuation in the electromagnetic field. Experiment result showed that pasteurization milk using WPC gave TPC content 104cfu/ml, negative E. coli. WPC be able to increase profit Rp 8.676.450,00 with R/C Ratio 1,31. Abstract

Acrylic cylinder is a component that is commonly used as a reactor in the addition process, which is mixing several types of chemicals. Because mixing chemicals corrode the container usually used, so use of the acrylic. In a small industrial establishment acrylic cylinder still use manually way, which is preheated using welding acytelin then performed bending process. This causes low quality products because the products produced corrugated surface due uneven heating and work safety are minimal. Therefore, in require of a machine that can solve the problem, to produce smooth cylindrical surface isn’t corrugated. These machines are designed using a three-roll system that is placed in a triangle and the heaters are placed in between the two roll below, so that the plate can be bent straight up in preheat plate ready to be bent. Thus producing smooth surface and is expected to support the engine production capacity of small industries. From the calculation power needed 0.17 HP motor, the motor rotation 1500 rpm is reduced by a gearbox with a ratio of 1:50 to drive two 60 mm diameter roll with a speed of 30 rpm and from the calculation power needed 133 W electrical heater. After testing, it was found that the product quality is better acrylic cylinder with no waves on the surface.Keyword : Roll Bending Machine, Heater, Acrylic.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan sandal sebagai alas kaki semakin bertambah, oleh karena itu industri kecil dituntut untuk bisa memproduksi sandal dalam jumlah yang banyak setiap minggunya. Dan untuk bisa bersaing dengan produk sandal yang lain maka produsen sandal harus membuat produk sandal yang berkualitas. Proses produksi sandal terdiri dari pemotongan spon sandal (Ethylene Vinyl Asetat) sesuai bentuk dan ukuran yang diinginkan, tali ikat sandal, proses pengecapan atau hot embossing pada permukaan sandal, dan finishing. Dari rangkaian proses, hot embossing sangat menentukan kualitas sandal, namun hingga sampai saat ini proses embossing yang dilakukan masih menggunakan alat manual sehingga tidak memberikan hasil yang baik dan seragam. Namun dengan menggunakan mesin hot embossing ini produsen dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksinya. Dari analisa dan kesimpulan hasil percobaan pada spon Ethylene Vinyl Asetat dengan tebal 10 mm didapatkan hasil yang bagus pada temperatur pemanasan 80oC pada waktu penahanan 10 detik dengan tekanan 7 bar/ 7.105 Pa

Abstract

In small industry, trellis craftsmen have variety of stages in production process of trellis. They had only manually equipment to create a profile of fence. By using this manual process, it tends to increase operation cost and variety of quality of trellis fence. UD Jaya Makmur is a representative of trellis craftsmen who use manual equipment to produce trellis fences and other bar fences. Based on the background and the needs of this small fences industry, the fence bender machine has been built through Student Creativity Programme (PKM-T) which held by DIKTI. The process starting with exploring the machine design, then the proposed design had been analysed. After final calculation, the construction of fence bender machine was started, including profiling technology and automation. As the result, Fence Bender Machine has specification: Electric Motor 2 HP (Horse Power), Gearbox 1:60, Steel as material holder and can bend plate with 5 mm thickness. The machine was equipped by Holder/Bend Tool for bending or profiling. By comparing with manual production process, the fence bender can produce higher quality of trellis fence and better efficiency, because the machine can produce more fences and lower production cost. The production capacity of the machine was 240 products/hour for elbow profiles and 120 products/hour for circular profiles.Keywords: Fence Bender, Plate, Trellis.

Abstract

The process of exhausting long melon cultivation is one of the rarity factor farmers grow the The long and exhausting process in melon cultivation is one of factor the farmer rarity to grow up the fruit. The liquid fertilization is done once per 2/3 days. And the spraying can reach up to 23 time until the harvesting. Not maximum liquid fertilization will take longer time and more draining. Thats way, it needs a technology which can solve both these problems in one tool. This tool is called eco splash tank. This tank can also used in remote area without electricity because it is equipped by solar panels for energy source. the one wheel using for design makes the eco splash tank has capacity 30 L and strong. The result for a single full charge can be turned on and pump for 8 hrs. and the charging time for solar panels to accu until full is 9,5 hrs. in a pilot watering can be done up to 30 plants/minute and spray up to 27 plants/minute. It increases from 20 plants/minute(watering) and 17 plants/minute (spraying). In addition the functional benefits are felt by farmers. Because they don’t need to hold, pump, and by the fuel. furthermore the design of eco splash tank will be developped for agricultural crops and then RAMP Technopreneurship, patent, and a list of 107 Innovation.Key Words: Aplikator, Sprayer, Hortikulture, Solar Energy

Abstract

In the era of technology like this, a variety of facilities and infrastructure supporting the majority of human life is made of metal materials. Metals include iron, steel, aluminum, copper and so forth. However, the technology required to recycle metal requires high temperatures. In addition to the metal required to process the huge cost. It is also the cause of scrap metal collectors can not be productive with its own scrap metal processing. The most collectors reselling scrap metal to a larger factory with a very low price. Designed and made with Cupola Portable is expected to increase the productivity of the collectors of scrap metals. Objectives to be achieved from Student Creativity Program is to design and create a cupola that is portable, simple, efficient and economical for metal processing. Then create a cupola that is portable in order to increase the sale value of the existing metal trash bins on metal collectors. Portable Cupola that will be created using the basic principles of ordinary cupola, but made smaller and simpler because it is intended for small and medium-sized metal collectors.Keywords: Cupola portable,scrap,productive,economical,efficient
