Background of the study: Generally, during the rainy season, many potholes asphalt road are found. The high rainfall results in the fragile contour of the asphalt road and triggers a traffic accident. In the last decade, the development of potholes asphalt road detection has various method approaches.Purpose: The research used precision to get a performance of the system.Method: In this study, the development system can classify potholes asphalt road by a simple algorithm. It also considers the time and space complexity.Findings: The algorithms as possible and only uses the handy-camera device to capture data which the level of performance as good as the results of previous research. Capturing data is also various distances with 450 point angles. For classification steps, the system applied two main features, area and shape feature of the object. The used parameters for these features are the length of major and minor axis object. It used to calculate area and eccentricity values.Conclusion: In conclusion, the experiment result reaches 81.696% of the 1125 frames used.

Background of the study: Libraries have various challenges in maintaining their existence as information providers. Libraries must have support so that users do not turn to other services, have special strategies to connect themselves, establish good relationships, and provide user loyalty.Purpose: The purpose of this agreement is to describe the promotion strategy as an effort to encourage the loyalty of university library users.Method: The method used in this research is literature study and also uses the author's active participation observation method as a librarian in the university library.Findings: According to the results of research and literature study by the author, various university libraries provide various types of businesses. The results of the author's discussion there are several discussions about the library promotion strategy arrangement published; (1) Discussion of steps and targets in publicizing and promoting information services; (2) determining the promotion goals by specifying the type of user; (3) a budget is issued; (4) selecting the media used for publication and promotion; (5) evaluating various types of media that have been used; (6) the promotion process in terms of human resources, infrastructure, and various types of librarian activities.Conclusion: With the arrangement of the strategic promotion library model, the authors submit an opinion about the college library that provides a promotional strategy as a promotional container and guarantee self-existence.

Background of the study: Dissemination of health information that is not properly managed can result in a lack of public knowledge in maintaining their health and lead to serious health problems, such as stunting.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the use of Instagram as a tool for disseminating information related to stunting intervention in Indonesia.Method: This study used content analysis method to identify and analyze 354 uploads with the hashtag #cegahstunting on Instagram from August 2017 until December 2018.Findings: Results showed that most campaign messages were directly related to health, which were dominated by content about preventive efforts aimed at general audience. Most uploaders were organizations, namely the government and non-profit institutions.Conclusion: It is concluded that the role of individuals can be enhanced as relevant and trusted sources in creating and disseminating stunting-related information in Indonesia through social media. Information makers need to pay attention to the characteristics of the target group and the media used in order to create effective messages

Background of the study: Evaluating collection is required by libraries to assess the strengths and the weaknesses of collections. This research gives a benefit for libraries to improve their collection development policies. Thus, the libraries can provide adequate numbers of collections to meet the patrons? demands.Purpose: The purpose of this report is to evaluate the forestry holdings in the Cendana library of Forest Research Institute Kupang (FRIK) by using conspectus.Method: This research is an explanatory study cases in order to describe strength and weakness of forestry holding at Cendana library. The evaluator uses the Australian conspectus due to relevancy. The conspectus has several techniques for collecting data. A checklist is used by evaluator to evaluate monographs and electronic books. In addition, the evaluator evaluates the existing collection strengths (ECS), chronological coverages, languages, and physical conditions. The evaluator records these components into the evaluative worksheet.Findings: The result reveals that the forestry holdings in Cendana Library of Forest Research Institute Kupang (FRIK) has conspectus levels in 1b. Although type of the languages become a strength, but the quantity is a weakness. The data shows that the size level of forestry holdings in the Cendana Library of Forest Research Institute Kupang (FRIK) is in the level 1 b.Conclusion: In conclusion, the collection weakness is in books? quantities. The limited number of forestry books enforces the conspectus levels of forestry holdings in a low level (1b). Meanwhile, strengths of existing collection are the equal portions between foreign language in English and Bahasa and the physical condition of books. It is recommended that Cendana' library should increase the numbers of collections through procurement or book?s exchange program.

Background of the study: This research belongs to the literature study since it is carried out by exploring information and documentation relating to archiving regulationsPurpose: This study aims to analyze the development of archiving regulations in Indonesia from time to time.Method: Analyzing data using descriptive analysis methods.Findings: The results showed that the development of archiving regulations in Indonesia showed a positive trend, as this was shown by the issuance of several regulations relating to archival issues from the Dutch colonial era and the independence of Indonesia in 1945 up until the issuance of Law No. 43 of 2009 during the reform era recently.Conclusion: All archiving laws or regulations are basically for the existence of archives and archives very important for society, government and the Indonesian Nation.

Background of the study: Archives have a very crucial role in the development of organization and institutions, Including in Indonesia. The importance of archival protection is in Determine records management planning in overcoming the impact of natural disasters.Purpose: The Efforts taken are preventive and curative actions that aim to minimize the risk of losing archives and as an effort to safeguard the importance of policy-making towards archives in the future.Method: This research is qualitative research with literature study method. The researcher raised a study that was in accordance with the topic of understanding, then made a map of the data related to preventive and curative Efforts in an effort to overcome natural disasters. In this case, the analysis of data is done through reference to books, journals, and other library materials Articles regarding preventive and curative actions in archival management and policy planning related to archives. Literature studies pay attention to relevance to the subject matter and to facilitate the understanding and direction of writing in accordance with the problems in the study.Findings: The results of this study indicate that disaster management consists of stages several items, namely mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.Conclusion: Prevailing Efforts are focused more on Preventing and protecting conventional archives from the disaster damage. The actions taken include storing archives in a safe and disaster-resistant place, storing archives with special equipment (vaulting), duplicating or duplicating records by transferring media in the form of Microfilms, microfiche, magnetic recordings, electronic records. While curative Efforts are repairs or maintenance of records with conditions that have or have begun to be damaged. Actions include lamination, encapsulation, reproduction of archives and recovery.

Background of the study: Archives as a collective memory of a nation make it important to be managed and disseminated to all Indonesian people, especially in the current generation of Indonesian youth, namely the generation of digital natives. The generation of young people being the successors of the Indonesian nation's struggle must know the long history of the social history of the people in Indonesia through archives. The government has made a solution through a conscious archive movement but in reality the conscious socialization of the archives seems to not be heard in the community especially by the generation of digital natives. Access to archives carried out domestically in ANRI's annual report in 2015-2016 shows that in 2015 there were 5,215 people and in 2016 there were 4,747, a decline in 2016 regarding access to archives.Purpose: This study aims to provide recommendations regarding the use of promotional media that can be carried out by ANRI institutions in maintaining the nation's collective memory, especially towards the generation of digital natives.Method: This paper uses a literature review method with data collection of various materials contained in the library, such as newspapers, books, magazines, manuscripts, documents and so on that are relevant to research with theoretical studies and literature.Findings: The results of this study indicate that the promotional media that is right for use by ANRI in promoting archives is through social media and media mobile phone applications based on the way of interaction of the generation of digital natives.Conclusion: With this research, it is expected that ANRI as the highest institution managing state archives can consider the importance of promotion for archives and utilizing promotional media for the general public, especially in the generation of digital natives

Background of the study: Development of information and communication technology (ICT)Purpose: This research analyzes that using Internet technology of things (IOT), for example in managing large archive-based computing can help archivists to master the technology used in the Industry 4.0.Method: The author uses the method of hermeneutics Ricoeur (Hermeneutics Phenomenology). Hermeneutics method that seeks to bring interpreters at a better understanding of themselves through the activity of which is known as an appropriation. In this hermeneutic, activity is not a dichotomy between the subjective dimension of the subject and the object objectivity.Activities interpret these methodological least cover four categories, namely: objectivation through the structure, distances through writing, distances through the world of the text, and appropriation (or sense of self).Findings: As archivists need to consider the possibility that our jobs become more technical and complex if it wants to stay in the Industry 4.0. As an experienced in archival work, the author himself is still difficult to imagine what it might be like if the archival work associated with the field of biotechnology and nanotechnology as the convergence of these two areas are the development of the field of archives is not too obvious. However, considering that ICT is still the main technology, the authors will be focused in this area just by paying attention to the ongoing trend in this field in relation to archiving.Conclusion: The constancy of this profession will depend on his response to the growing challenges of the digital world and the adaptation of professionalism does.

Background of the study: literacy skills of librarianPurpose: This study aims to identify the information literacy skills of librarians in meeting the information needs a user at the public library in the city of Bogor.Method: This study used a qualitative approach with the case study method. Data were collected through observation and interview. The informants of six people selected using purposive sampling, with the criteria set librarian of Library Science education. Information literacy models used in this study are a model Empowering Eight, consisting of identification, exploration, selection, organization, creation, presentation, assessment and application information..Findings: The results showed that the information literacy librarian at the public library in the city of Bogor in meeting the information needs user already applied include a component on the identification, exploration, presentation, assessment, and application.Conclusion: There are some capabilities that cannot be applied to the maximum, including component selection, organization and creation of information.
