Abstract

Kebisingan yang bersumber dari aktivitas transportasi menjadi salah satu bentuk pencemaran lingkungan yang perlu mendapat perhatian, terutama di kawasan perkotaan dengan tingkat mobilitas tinggi. Di Kota Mataram, peningkatan penggunaan kendaraan bermotor berkaitan erat dengan pertumbuhan sektor ekonomi, perdagangan dan pariwisata. Selama dua dekade terakhir, angka kepemilikan kendaraan di kota ini meningkat sekitar 5,3%, sejalan dengan kecenderungan masyarakat yang memilih kendaraan pribadi karena lebih praktis untuk mobilitas harian. Sebagai pusat aktivitas di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Mataram juga menjadi tujuan urbanisasi dari wilayah sekitar, yang turut menambah kebutuhan transportasi terutama penambahan moda transportasi. Salah satu titik yang mengalami intensitas lalu lintas tinggi adalah Bundaran Tugu Tembolak di Sandubaya, yang berfungsi sebagai penghubung beberapa jalan utama sekaligus sebagai elemen lanskap kota. Area di sekitarnya terdiri dari pertokoan, permukiman, dan pusat kegiatan masyarakat sehingga menghasilkan arus kendaraan yang padat, khususnya roda dua. Kondisi ini menjadi dasar dilakukannya kajian prediksi kebisingan menggunakan model Calculation of Road Traffic Noise (CoRTN). Penelitian mencakup pengukuran volume kendaraan, kecepatan, kondisi geometrik jalan, serta pemodelan lalu lintas dengan PTV Vissim untuk memperkirakan tingkat kebisingan lima tahun mendatang. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan kecenderungan kenaikan kebisingan dari 2025 hingga 2030 pada empat ruas jalan sekitar bundaran, dengan peningkatan rata-rata dari 74,38 dB(A) menjadi 75,06 dB(A). Secara statistik, kenaikan ini signifikan pada uji satu arah. Nilai prediksi masih lebih rendah dibandingkan pengukuran lapangan sebesar 78,27 dB(A), namun tetap melebihi baku mutu 70 dB(A) untuk kawasan perdagangan dan jasa. Temuan ini menunjukkan tren peningkatan kebisingan yang berpotensi memengaruhi kenyamanan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Kata Kunci:Noise ,Vissim, CoRTN, , roundabout, noise level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi nilai ekonomi karbon sebagai katalisator dalam upaya dekarbonisasi pembangkit listrik berbasis Energi Baru Terbarukan di Nusa Penida, Bali. Sektor ketenagalistrikan merupakan kontributor emisi GRK signifikan, dan transisi ke EBT seringkali terkendala aspek finansial; NEK hadir sebagai solusi pembiayaan inovatif yang menginternalisasi biaya lingkungan. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif studi kasus, data operasional dari PLTS Hibrida dianalisis untuk menghitung volume pengurangan emisi CO2e yang dihindari dibandingkan dengan skenario Business as Usual (PLTD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proyek EBT di Nusa Penida mampu mengurangi emisi sebesar 4.19 ton CO2e per tahun, menghasilkan potensi pendapatan karbon yang signifikan. Analisis kelayakan finansial menggunakan NPV dan IRR mengindikasikan bahwa inklusi pendapatan NEK secara substansial meningkatkan kelayakan investasi proyek, mentransformasi manfaat lingkungan menjadi aset ekonomi yang viable. Penelitian sebelumnya sering berfokus pada skala nasional atau jaringan interkoneksi besar Jawa-Bali. Secara spesifik menganalisis implementasi NEK pada sistem jaringan isolated di Nusa Penida, yang memiliki karakteristik bauran energi dan tantangan operasional yang unik. penelitian ini menggunakan data operasional aktual dari PLTS hibrida yang sudah terpasang di lapangan untuk perhitungan emisi yang lebih akurat. Penelitian ini tidak hanya menghitung volume karbon yang dihemat, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan nilai moneter karbon tersebut ke dalam analisis kelayakan investasi yang komprehensif.

Abstract

The upstream oil and gas industry faces stringent regulatory pressures through Law No. 7 of 2021 on Carbon Tax and PROPER assessments under MoEF Regulation No. 7 of 2025, which demand innovation in energy efficiency and GHG emission reduction. This study aims to prioritize decarbonization strategies at PT Pertamina EP Sukowati Field by adapting the CLIMACT Prio instrument. The novelty of this research lies in modifying the instrument from a city-scale to an industrial-scale by integrating the Carbon Tax Avoidance Index (CTAI) variable and PROPER innovation criteria. The research method utilizes a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) approach involving 7 experts through a participatory process. The results show a total baseline GHG emission of 87,564.81 tons CO2e/year, dominated by Gas Turbine units (61.98%). Based on expert weighting, the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) (21.7%) and Technology Readiness Level (TRL) (20.7%) criteria are the primary considerations. The final ranking results place Fuel Optimization on Prime Movers as the top priority strategy (score 0.75) due to its high emission reduction effectiveness (1,085.49 tons CO2e/year) and the most favorable CTAI value. The subsequent priority strategies are Rooftop Solar PV (0.72), VSD Installation (0.67), and LED Retrofit (0.42). This adapted instrument provides a significant contribution for upstream oil and gas practitioners in formulating measurable and applicable decarbonization roadmaps in PT Pertamina EP Sukowati Field.

Abstract

Ancaman perubahan iklim global mendorong Indonesia untuk memperketat target reduksi emisi melalui Enhanced Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) sebesar 31,89% hingga 43,20% pada tahun 2030 demi mencapai status net-zero emissions pada tahun 2060. Namun, transparansi data emisi melalui Carbon Emission Disclosure (CED) saat ini masih bersifat sukarela, sehingga mutu informasinya cenderung belum optimal dan rentan terhadap praktik greenwashing. Berangkat dari kesenjangan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tata kelola perusahaan terhadap kualitas CED, serta menganalisis peran moderasi koneksi politik di dalamnya. Kualitas CED tersebut dikuantifikasi menggunakan Carbon Emission Score (CES) yang mengintegrasikan tujuh indikator Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 305 serta pilar governance dan strategy dari rekomendasi Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori melalui metode regresi data panel untuk menguji pengaruh tersebut secara simultan. Sebanyak 88 perusahaan nonkeuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2020–2023 dipilih sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengujian terhadap kualitas CED dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pada aspek tata kelola, hanya keberagaman gender (p = 0,044) yang berpengaruh positif signifikan, sementara pada aspek kelembagaan, koneksi politik terbukti tidak berpengaruh, baik sebagai pendorong langsung maupun sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transparansi karbon korporasi di Indonesia lebih dipengaruhi oleh kematangan tata kelola internal substantif dan visibilitas perusahaan daripada struktur administratif formal maupun pengaruh politik eksternal.   Kata Kunci: Carbon Emission Disclosure, Global Reporting Initiative 305, Koneksi Politik, Tata Kelola Perusahaan, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures

Abstract

Urban development in Padang City has increased impervious surface areas, reduced infiltration capacity, and increased surface runoff. This condition often overloads the existing drainage system, leading to inundation during high rainfall events. This research was conducted in the Pelangi Indah Residential Area, Korong Gadang Village, Kuranji District, Padang City, aiming to analyze and optimize the application of green infrastructure in the form of green roofs, rain gardens, and permeable pavements using the EPA SWMM model. The data used consisted of primary data obtained through field surveys, including drainage dimensions and elevations measured with water-pass instruments, as well as secondary data such as rainfall data from NASA's Giovanni GPM IMERG, land-use data, and soil parameter data. Simulations were conducted under existing conditions and in several Low Impact Development (LID) scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of each green infrastructure technology in reducing runoff and increasing infiltration. The simulation results showed that the existing condition of the study area still produced relatively high runoff due to the dominance of built-up areas and the limited infiltration zones. After implementing the combination of green roofs, rain gardens, and permeable pavements, there was a decrease in runoff volume, a reduction in peak discharge, and an increase in rainwater infiltration into the soil. The combined scenario of the three LID technologies showed better hydrological performance than existing conditions. This study is expected to serve as a reference for sustainable urban drainage system development based on green infrastructure in Padang City and other urban areas.

Abstract

Banjardowo Landfill in Jombang Regency is equipped with a Leachate Treatment Plant (LTP) with a treatment capacity of 300 m³/day to prevent environmental pollution from landfill leachate. However, fluctuations in leachate characteristics and operational conditions may affect treatment performance over time. Monitoring results in 2025 indicated that Total Nitrogen concentrations in the treated effluent still exceeded the applicable discharge standard, suggesting that the treatment process had not yet achieved optimal performance. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the technical performance of the Leachate Treatment Plant at Banjardowo Landfill and formulate improvement strategies to support sustainable and effective leachate management. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach through field observations, measurements of treatment units, reviews of technical and operational documents, stakeholder questionnaires, and leachate quality analyses conducted during the dry and rainy seasons. The technical performance evaluation was carried out by comparing the existing conditions of treatment units with established design criteria and assessing pollutant removal efficiencies. Furthermore, SWOT analysis was subsequently used to identify internal and external factors affecting plant performance and to formulate appropriate improvement strategies. The technical evaluation revealed that the LTP performance was not fully optimal due to excessive HRT in the Leachate Storage Pond, insufficient biofilter media volume, suboptimal DO and MLSS concentrations in biological treatment units, and operational instability in nitrogen removal processes. The UF unit effectively removed TSS and cadmium, while the constructed wetland served as a polishing unit. During the dry season, the removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, TSS, Total Nitrogen, Cd, and Hg were 59.2%, 58.4%, 98.2%, 17.2%, 89.7%, and 95.5%, respectively. During the rainy season, the removal efficiencies were 71.0%, 86.1%, 98.7%, and 99.6%, while no removal was reported for Cd and Hg, thus ensuring compliance with wastewater standards. The SWOT analysis places LTP in Quadrant III (recovery strategy) with coordinates (-0.22; 0.30), so the strategies that need to be implemented are (1) improving the aeration system and optimizing the nitrification-denitrification process and (2) rehabilitating artificial wetlands and strengthening the monitoring system.

Abstract

Workers engaged in intensive physical and mental activities are at risk of experiencing an increased workload, which can lead to occupational health disorders. In the revitalization project at Hospital X, several workers reported discomfort in various parts of their bodies. A pre-assessment using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire revealed that the most common complaints were in the right hand, back, and waist, with scores of 72, 70, and 69, respectively. These issues were primarily attributed to prolonged exposure to physical activity during the project's implementation. This study aims to identify musculoskeletal disorders through the NBM questionnaire and evaluate physical workload using the Job Strain Index (JSI) method for construction workers involved in various tasks, including piping, ducting, plumbing, electrical installation, and AC insulation. The JSI method indicated that ducting work had a score of 20.25, while AC insulation work received a score of 9, both exceeding the threshold for hazardous risk. Based on the hierarchy of risk control, recommended mitigation strategies include administrative interventions such as regulating work duration, scheduling rest periods, and implementing safety patrols. Additionally, there should be increased efforts to protect workers through the provision of complete, high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE), including helmets, masks, and gloves.

Abstract

Indonesia's rapid industrialization has led to a significant increase in coal fly ash generation from coal-fired power plants, while simultaneously, domestic greywater from laundry activities remains largely discharged without adequate treatment. Both challenges present substantial environmental burdens that demand integrated and resource-efficient solutions. This study proposes the valorization of coal fly ash as a low-cost support material for TiO2-based photocatalysts synthesized via a sol–gel method, evaluated for simultaneous photocatalytic organic pollutant degradation and hydrogen evolution using real laundry greywater as the reaction medium. Coal fly ash was characterized prior to use through Loss on Ignition (LOI), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and slurry pH measurements to establish its physicochemical suitability as a catalyst support. A pretreatment protocol comprising sequential washing, mild acid neutralization, drying, and calcination was applied to stabilize surface chemical conditions before sol–gel synthesis. The synthesized TiO2–coal fly ash composite photocatalyst was immobilized on stainless steel substrates via brush coating and calcined at 400°C, then evaluated in a closed batch reactor under UV irradiation using real laundry greywater conditioned to a pH range of 6.0–7.5 through the addition of 0.1 N NaOH or 0.1 N HCl, followed by coarse filtration to remove large suspended solids prior to treatment. Characterization results confirmed the suitability of the coal fly ash as a support material, with a low LOI value of 1.66%, a silica–alumina-dominated composition (SiO2: 47.64%, Al2O3: 18.17%), and a slurry pH reduced from 11.25 to approximately 8.0 following pretreatment. Photocatalytic treatment over six hours reduced the organic content of greywater from 97.9 mg/L to approximately 45.1 mg/L, corresponding to a removal efficiency of approximately 54%. Qualitative evidence of reducing gas formation, consistent with photocatalytic hydrogen evolution, was detected using a semiconductor-based MQ-2 gas sensor under nitrogen-purged anaerobic conditions, suggesting the concurrent occurrence of oxidative and reductive pathways within the photocatalytic system. These findings demonstrate the technical feasibility of valorizing coal fly ash as a functional TiO2 photocatalyst support for integrated greywater treatment and photocatalytic hydrogen evolution, providing baseline performance data for the development of a low-cost, dual-function photocatalytic system applicable at household or communal scales in Indonesia. Quantitative hydrogen production analysis and advanced catalyst characterization are identified as priorities for subsequent research stages.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The permanent closure of the Piyungan Landfill due to overcapacity and the open-dumping system prompted the Sleman Regency Government to operate three Integrated Waste Treatment Facilities (TPST) based on Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), namely the Tamanmartani, Donokerto, and Sendangsari TPSTs. However, these three TPSTs still face challenges, including suboptimal processing capacity, the continued presence of residual waste, and their inability to fully contribute to achieving Sleman Regency’s waste management and reduction targets. This study aims to analyze the current conditions, sustainability factors, sustainability status, and waste management development strategies at the three TPSTs using the Multidimensional Scaling-Rapid Appraisal for Sustainability (MDS-RAPS) approach, which examines five aspects: operational technical aspects, institutional aspects, financing, regulations, and community participation. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to the public, TPST managers, and relevant agencies, and were subsequently analyzed using a SWOT analysis. The analysis results indicate that, in general, all three TPSTs are at a moderately sustainable level; however, the Tamanmartani TPST is less sustainable in the technical-operational aspect (48,92), and the Sendangsari TPST is less sustainable in the community participation aspect(46,41). The dominant factors in each aspect are: processing technology efficiency (technical-operational), the duties and responsibilities of the operators (institutional), the adequacy of TPST workers’ wages (financial), compliance with waste collection fee regulations (regulatory), and community efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness (community participation). The SWOT analysis places all three TPSTs in Quadrant I; therefore, the recommended sustainability strategy is an aggressive strategy (SO), which leverages internal strengths to optimize available opportunities to achieve sustainable waste management in Sleman Regency. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner kepada masyarakat, pengelola TPST, dan instansi terkait, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara umum ketiga TPST berada pada status cukup berkelanjutan, terkecuali TPST Tamanmartani pada aspek teknis operasional (48,92) memiliki status kurang berkelanjutan dan TPST Sendangsari para aspek partisipasi masyarakat (46,66) memiliki status kurang berkelanjutan, dengan faktor dominan pada masing-masing aspek yaitu efisiensi teknologi pengolahan (teknis operasional), tugas dan tanggung jawab pengelola (kelembagaan), kesesuaian gaji pekerja TPST (pembiayaan), kepatuhan terhadap peraturan retribusi sampah (regulasi), dan upaya masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan (partisipasi masyarakat). Analisis SWOT menempatkan ketiga TPST pada Kuadran I, sehingga strategi keberlanjutan yang direkomendasikan adalah strategi agresif (SO) dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan internal untuk mengoptimalkan peluang yang tersedia guna mewujudkan pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Sleman. Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat melalui Tempat Pengolahan Sampah dengan konsep Reduce, Reuse, dan Recycle (TPS 3R) merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi beban Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA). Namun, keberhasilan pengelolaan TPS 3R tidak hanya ditentukan oleh aspek teknis, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberfungsian pengelolaan TPS 3R serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat pada TPS 3R Bedas Asri, TPS 3R Plus Padamukti, dan TPS 3R Kencana Asih Bedas di Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan eksplanatori. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 268 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data meliputi analisis keberfungsian berdasarkan Pedoman Teknis TPS 3R Kementerian PUPR (2023) dan analisis jalur (path analysis) menggunakan SPSS dengan proses trimming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga TPS 3R berada pada kategori cukup baik, dengan nilai keberfungsian sebesar 2,02 untuk TPS 3R Bedas Asri, 2,49 untuk TPS 3R Plus Padamukti, dan 2,46 untuk TPS 3R Kencana Asih Bedas. Hasil analisis jalur menunjukkan bahwa model mampu menjelaskan variasi partisipasi masyarakat sebesar 66,6% pada TPS 3R Bedas Asri, 80,0% pada TPS 3R Plus Padamukti, dan 76,9% pada TPS 3R Kencana Asih Bedas. Setelah dilakukan proses trimming, faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi masyarakat berbeda pada setiap lokasi. Pada TPS 3R Bedas Asri, faktor yang berpengaruh adalah kesediaan, pengetahuan, dan harapan; pada TPS 3R Plus Padamukti adalah pengetahuan, harapan, dan kepuasan masyarakat; sedangkan pada TPS 3R Kencana Asih Bedas adalah kepercayaan, kesediaan, dan institusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik sosial masyarakat memengaruhi keberhasilan pengelolaan TPS 3R sehingga strategi peningkatan partisipasi perlu disesuaikan dengan kondisi masing-masing wilayah.
