Abstract

Air pollution often occurs in large cities and industrially dense areas that produce a lot of gases containing substances above normal limits such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, particulates, and so on. One of the main causes of air pollution is transportation and high traffic volumes that cause a decrease in ambient air quality. Motor vehicles contribute about 64% of carbon monoxide (CO) and to find out the distribution of these emissions, calculations with the Tier 2 Method and line model dispersion are needed because they have high accuracy between the model and existing conditions. The study was conducted on arterial roads with wide road conditions and crowded vehicles such as Kenjeran Road, Oso Wilangun Road, and Taman Sidoarjo Road. From the three roads, the highest CO concentration was obtained at a distance of 1 meter from the emission source but with different times. Kenjeran Street with the highest concentration was recorded at 17.00-18.00 WIB at 3.049 gr/m³ on, Oso Wilangun Street the highest concentration occurred at 08.00-09.00 WIB at 1.126 gr/m³, while on Taman Sidoarjo Street the highest concentration was recorded at 13.00-14.00 WIB at 1.75 gr/m³.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Carbon Emission Disclosure, Global Reporting Initiative 305, Koneksi Politik, Tata Kelola Perusahaan, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures

Abstract

Agriculture and climate change have a complex causal relationship. Theagricultural sector produces large amounts of Green House Gases (GHG)such as CH4, CO2, and N2O which affect the climate. One of theconsequences of climate change is an increase in rainfall. This has caused2,971.51 ha of submerged and damaged rice fields in the Tabalong District. This study aims to determine the climate change adaptation and mitigationstrategies of the agricultural sector in the Tabalong District. Emissionmeasurements and mapping of the distribution of GHG emissions are shownto support strategy determination. The GHG inventory is calculated usingthe Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry method, mapping thedistribution of emissions using the geographic information system method, and determining the best adaptation and mitigation strategies using theAnalytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Expert Choice Software. Theresults showed that GHG emissions from the agricultural sector of theTabalong District until 2030 amounted to 191,384 tCO2e / year. There arefive Sub-districts identified as the largest GHG-producing districts from themapping of the distribution of GHG. The results of the AHP synthesis showthat there are three strategies for climate change adaptation and fourstrategies for climate change mitigation.
