Abstract

This manuscript studies using historical approach and hermeneuticanalysis. As for who becomes the object of study is the script tariqatNaqsyabandiyah (NTN), one script that provides information aboutteaching in Naqsyabandiyah tariqat in Pontianak. Tariqat Naqsyabandiyah,becoming known by the people of West Kalimantan, Pontianak, especiallysince the Dutch colonial period (ca. 1919), after the return of Ismail Jabalfrom Mecca. Manuscript NTN is a private collection H. Zahry AbangAbdullah Al Ambawwi, one of the Indigenous Cultural Council board Melayu(MABM) West Kalimantan. Abstract

The problem which are the subject of current research is how to implementcurriculum management performed by Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Ummah (MDNU)and what supporting and obstructing factors in implementing the curriculummanagement. The objective of the reserach is to find out curriculum managementimplmented by MDNU and to understand supporting and obstructing factors in theirimplementation. Current research uses qualitative approach by using observations,in-depth interviews and documents / literature reviews to collect data. The resultsshow that in general curriculum management developed by MDNU is curriculum ina broader sense, in terms of objectives, contents, methods or learning processes andstrategies in learning evaluation system. However, in their implementation still holdits salaf tradition which is developing holy book in group into Qiroah Kitab, SoroganIndividu.Key words : Management, Curriculum, Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Ummah

Abstract

abstrakPenelitian ini adalah penelitian sejarah, yang berusaha mengungkap Masjid kuno Pulo Kameng sebagai salah satu artefak penting peninggalan Islam di Aceh Selatan. Metode yang di-pakai adalah kuantitatif dengan model pendekatan historisarkeologis. Pendekatan ini diperlukan untuk mendeskripsikan sejarah dan struktur fisik bangunan masjid kuno Pulo Kemeng yang kaya dengan nilai filosofis. Hasil penelitian ini dihasilkan yaitu:Pertama, Masjid Pulo Kameng didirikan pertama kali pada masa kerajaan Teuku Kejruen Amansyah, pada tanggal 28 Ramadan 1285 H/12 Januari 1869 M. Pembangunan tersebut melibatkan beberapa kampung yaitu Kampung Paya, Kampung Purut, Kampung Kluet, Kampung Krueng Batu, Kampung Ruwak, dan Kampung Tinggi. Kedua, Arsitektur masjid mendapatkan pengaruh kebudayaan Cina dalam bentuk kubah berbentuk pagoda, Hindu-Budha dengan ciri atap tumpang, dan berakulturasi dengan tipe bangunan lokal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara filosofis masyarakat Aceh pada masa lalu toleran dan akomodatif dengan perbedaan etnis dan budaya.Kata Kunci: Sejarah, Akulturasi, Masjid Pulau Kameng, Aceh Selatan. abstractThis is an historcal study which discusses an ancient mosque Pulo Kameng as one of the important artifacts of Islamic heritages in South Aceh. It applies qualitative method with historical-archeological approach. The approach is necessary to describe history and physical architecture of the mosque Pulo Kameng which is richof philosophical values. The results are: firstly, Pulo Kameng Mosque was established in the period of Teuku Kejruen Amansyah, on the 28th of Ramadan 1285 H/12 January 1869 M. The process of the establishment involved several villages, they are Kampung Paya, Kampung Purut, Kampung Kluet, Kampung Batu Krueng, Kamoung Ruwak, and Kampung Tinggi. Abstract

AbstractSocial conflicts rises frequently because of religious crisis that preceded religious truth claims over the interpretation and strength of religious exclusiveness. This spiritual crisis made uneasy by religious leaders that led to the various assemblies of dhikr or city Sufism, one panel of Jamaat Muji Prophet (Jamuro). This descriptive qualitative study was conducted using deep interviews, relevant documentations and observation This research aimed to determine (1) how the background standing, (2) public response and (3) the role played by the Assembly Jamaat Muji Prophet (Jamuro) in deradicalization  efforts of religious movements. This research used qualitative as well as descriptive approaches. Data was obtained by deep interview, observation, and relevant documentations. The results of this study are: first, Jamuro founded in 2004 in Surakarta by Islamic theologians, kyai, habib, and Islamic figures from Nahdliyin to preserve the tradition of clerical predecessors in preaching . This movement aimed to continue Islamic propaganda tradition by earlier ulamas. The diversity of the radical movement in Surakarta contributed to the birth of Jamuro in hopes of reviving spirituality in town disappearing and the number of radical Islamic movements. (2) Most of communities accepted Majlis Jamuro, so that it derived others, like Jimat (Jamaah Iman Manteb Ati Tentrem) and Tomat (Tobat Maksiat). Expanding its range not only in the former residency of Surakarta and its surroundings, even Semarang. (3) Jamuro in the context of de-radicalization seen in its efforts to fortify themselves from the many familiar and radical Islamic movements through Tausyiah which will hopefully prevent jama’ahnya to commit violence in the name of religion.Keywords: Urban Sufism, Religious Movements, Deradicalization, Majlis Jamuro. AbstrakKonflik sosial seringkali muncul karena krisis keagamaan yang diawali klaim kebenaran atas tafsir  dan kuatnya sikap eksklusif dalam beragama. Krisis spiritual ini membuat gelisah para tokoh agamasehingga memunculkan berbagai majelis dzikir atau sufisme kota, salah satunya majelis Jamaah Muji Rosul (Jamuro). Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini dilakukan dengan metode wawancara,dokumentasi dan observasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) bagaimana latar belakang berdiri, (2) respon masyarakat dan (3) peran yang dimainkan Majelis Jamaah Muji Rosul (Jamuro)dalam upaya deradikalisasi gerakan keagamaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: pertama, Jamuro didirikan tahun 2004 di Surakarta oleh para ulama, kyai, habaib, dan tokoh agama dari kalanganNahdliyin sebagai wadah umat Islam Surakarta untuk melestarikan tradisi ulama pendahulu dalam dakwahnya. Beragamnya gerakan radikal di Surakarta ikut mendorong lahirnya Jamuro denganharapan dapat membangkitkan kembali spiritualitas di kota yang makin pudar serta banyaknya gerakan Islam radikal. Kedua, masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan menyambut baik adanya Jamuro,yang memunculkan rintisan majelis Jamuro kecil, seperti Jimat (Jamaah Iman Manteb Ati Tentrem), dan Tomat (Tobat Maksiat). Persebarannya makin meluas tidak hanya di eks karesidenan Surakarta  dan sekitarnya, bahkan Semarang. Ketiga, Jamuro dalam konteks deradikalisasi terlihat dalam upayanya membentengi diri dari banyaknya paham serta gerakan Islam radikal melalui tausyiahyang diharapkan akan mencegah jama’ahnya untuk melakukan kekerasan yang mengatasnamakan agama.Kata kunci: Sufisme kota, gerakan keagamaan, deradikalisasi, Majlis Jamuro.

Abstract

Islamic faith should be taught to communities since early ages. Thisaims for filtering them from the deviate ideology. One of the ways is teachingclassic books. This studies local book entitled Niyat Ingsun Ngaji written byKH.Badawi Hanafi. This uses an intertekstual method with other books suchas Nur al-Zalam written by Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani, Rawihat al-Aqwamwritten by KH.Bisri Mustafa, and Aqidah al-Awam written by Sayid Ahmadal-Marzuqi. Content of the book is analyzed using critical discourse analysis.It is to know transformation of value, interpretation, and response of kyaiand santri. Finding of the research illustrates that Islamic transformationis limited in knowledge transformation. There is difference explanation ofGod’s character and Prophet’s character given by KH.Badawi Hanafi, SyekhNawawi al-Bantani and KH.Bisri Mustafa. Interpretation of kyai and santritoward content of the book Niyat Ingsun Ngaji is relatively the same as thepredecessor. Abstract

In Bali, it has been a long tradition to write on such palm leaves. Several of thosemanuscripts contained leadership stories. This reseach utilized content analyzesapproach and Roland Barthe's semiotics post structural method. Leadership thoughtsin Nytipraya manuscript called siksakarya described through the nature and behaviorsof crow and rooster. This manuscript is full of very good moral lessons for leaders. Inadditional to moral lessons contained in siksakarya, there is also Pancaksara lesson.This thought guided someone in order to free from dissasters and suffers coming fromall directions. To achieve this goals, someone has to follow self-approach stages to theGod (Sang Hyang Widhi) including tapa, brata, yoga and meditation stages. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk memahami perkembangan masyarakat korban konflik Sambas yang terjadi antara etnis Madura dan Melayu yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif bersifat kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan yang terlibat dalam program relokasi serta mereka yang terlibat dalam usaha perdamaian. Kemudian data diolah dan disajikan melalui teknik analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan deskripsi dan proses relokasi sebagai bagian dari strategi antara untuk capain relonsiliasi sosialmelalui diplomasi budaya. Dalam hal ini, digambarkan tentang kehidupan masyarakat di relokasi serta upaya-upaya perdamaian dalam rangka merekonsiliasi. Berdasarkan analisis dapat disimpulkan tentang adanya peluang perdamaian dan sebuah kesempatan menciptakan masyarakat baru yang harmonis.Kata kunci: Prospek, Masyarakat, Konflik. AbstractThis study is an attempt to understand the development of conflict-affected communities of Sambas that occurred between Madurese and Malay. It is performed with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through in-depth interview technique towards informants involved in the re-location program and peace efforts. The data were analyzed and presented through descriptive analysis techniques to describe the refugee’s lives and peace efforts in the framework of reconciliation. The result of the study show cultural diplomacy as an effective process towards reconciliation. Therefore,it can be concluded that there are new chances opportunities to create peace and harmonious society.Keywords: Prospects, Community, Conflict.

Abstract

AbstractThis research seeks to reveal the existence of traditional Muslim education institutions, the pesantren salaf. Pesantren salaf becomes a reference to the public. Thousands of the people follow the activities held by the pesantren salaf which is still exist though modern ones providing modern and advances technologies are growing rapidly. The focus of this research is on how the role of Kiai, various values, curriculum, and the devotion of pesantren salaf towards education..The method applied in this study is a qualitative research using a multi- site study design. The findings revealed that the three observed pesantrens are maintaining the existence of pesantren through four ways. They are (1) the role of Kiai; (2) the variety of values in boarding schools , such as religious values, the value of the Salaf, the values of obeying Kiai, the values of learning; and (3) curriculum / Kitab Kuning, like Alfiyah , imrithi , and Fath al-Muin; (4) community services, such as the role of alumni in the community, recitation activities, istighotsah, construction of mosques building mosque and the other public facilities.Keywords: existence , salaf islamic boarding school, modern education AbstrakPenelitian ini berupaya mengungkapkan keberadaan dunia pendidikan tradisional umat Islam, yaitu pesantren salaf. Pesantren salaf masih menjadi rujukan masyarakat, ribuan masyarakat banyak yang mengikuti kegiatan yang diadakan pesantren salaf, seperti pengajian dan istighosah. Di abad modern ini, pondok pesantren salaf masiheksis. Padahal dunia pendidikan modern semakin berkembang yang dibarengi dengan berbagai macam teknologi modern dan canggih. Adapun fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran kiai, ragam nilai, kurikulum, dan pengabdian pesantren salaf di tengah-tengah arus pendidikan modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan studi multi situs. Berdasarkan penelitian ditemukan bukti bahwa ketiga pesantren yang diteliti masih eksis. Eksistensi masing-masing pesantren memiliki andil yang cukup besar dalam mempertahankan eksistensi pesantren di tengah-tengah peradaban global. Ketahananpesantren salaf meliputi: (1). Peran kiai (2). Ragam nilai di pesantren, seperti nilai agama, nilai salaf, nilai patuh pada kiai, nilai belajar (3). Kurikulum/ kitab kuning, seperti kitab alfiyah, imrithi, dan fathul muin. (4). Pengabdian masyarakat, seperti peran alumni di masyarakat, kegiatan-kegiatan pengajian, istighotsah bersama masyarakat, bantuan pesantren untuk masyarakat dalam pembangunan masjid dan berbagai fasilitas umum.Kata kunci: eksistensi, pesantren salaf, pendidikan modern

As a result, in each religion there will be variety of understanding, attitude, and respond toward their problems. One of those is fundamentalism view. Abstract

his study aims to identify - and analyze the implementation KTSP-inhibiting factor in supporting MTsN III Malang Regency. Beforeimplementing MTsN KTSP make preparations mature enough and stable.Implementation of KTSP in MTsN III Malang running smoothly, procedural,and in accordance with the laws, regulations and guidance from BSNP.As an indicator of KTSP implementation can be ascertained from studentachievement in the UN in 2008 the average value of 7.18 and in 2009 theaverage value of 8.75. Some of non-academic and academic achievementsof the various competitions from local, regional, national and evenASEAN succeed achieved by MTsN III Malang. Factors supporting theimplementation of KTPS MTsN III Malang can be known from the ethos,dedication, loyalty, and professionalism of each school functionary (Head,Deputy Head, teachers, staff of the General Affair, and student input). Whileblocking factor has not fully have ideal classrooms (20-30 students perclass).Keywords: KTSP, Madrasah, Implementation KTSP.
