Abstract

The intensity of pruning and wanilan influences the quality of Madura chopped tobacco and is a factor that increases the tobacco grade. Increasing grade results in acceptance of quality by consumers and acceptance of farmers. This study aims to determine the effect of pruning height followed by the percentage of the quality index and index of Madura chopped tobacco plants. The quality index is an illustration of quality acceptance by consumers of a type of tobacco or a certain form of farming and a plant index is a picture of farmer acceptance. The experiment used a randomized block design (RBD) with four treatments each with 12 pieces of pruning height, 15 sheets, 18 sheets, and 21 sheets and each repeated five times. Trial sites in Tangedan Village, Juruan Laok Village, and Juruan Daya Village, Batuputih District, Sumenep Regency. The results showed that there was a significant effect of height on the index of quality and index of Madura tobacco plant. With the height of the pruning that leaves 15 leaves is the best result. Experiments in Tangedan Village produced a quality index and plant index, respectively 97.43 and 910.54, Juruan Laok Village 95.95 and 917.38, and Juruan Daya Village 96.92 and 919.05. Intensitas pangkasan dan wiwilan berpengaruh terhadap mutu tembakau rajangan madura dan menjadi faktor yang meningkatkan grade tembakau tersebut. Peningkatan grade mengakibatkan penerimaan mutu oleh konsumen dan penerimaan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tinggi pangkasan yang diikuti wiwilan terhadap indeks mutu dan indeks tanaman tembakau rajangan Madura. Indeks mutu adalah gambaran penerimaan mutu oleh konsumen dari suatu jenis tembakau atau suatu bentuk usaha tani tertentu dan indeks tanaman adalah gambaran penerimaan petani. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan empat 4 perlakuan masing-masing tinggi pangkasan 12 lembar, 15 lembar, 18 lembar, dan 21 lembar dan masing-masing diulang lima kali. Lokasi percobaan di Desa Tangedan, Desa Juruan Laok, dan Desa Juruan Daya Kecamatan Batuputih Kabupaten Sumenep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang nyata dari tinggi pangkasan terhadap indeks mutu dan indeks tanaman tembakau rajangan madura. Dengan tinggi pangkasan yang menyisakan 15 lembar daun merupakan hasil yang terbaik. Percobaan di Desa Tangedan menghasilkan indeks mutu dan indeks tanaman, masing-masing 97,43 dan 910,54, Desa Juruan Laok 95,95 dan 917,38, dan Desa Juruan Daya 96,92 dan 919,05.

Abstract

Extension is one of the important aspects in the success of shallot farming. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in profits between farmer participating in extension activities and farmers who did not take part in extension activities, and to analyze the influence of agricultural extension to improve farmers’ attitudes, skills and knowledge. This research was conducted for 3 months in Torongrejo Village, Batu City. Methods of data analysis with quantitative descriptive. The results showed that there were differences in benefits between farmers who participated in extension activities and farmers who did not take part in extension activities, and there were differences in the number of persentages of the influence of agricultural extension on farmers’ attitudes, skills and knowledge. Penyuluhan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam keberhasilan usahatani bawang merah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan keuntungan antara petani yang mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan dan petani yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan, dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penyuluhan pertanian terhadap peningkatan sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan petani. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan di Desa Torongrejo Kota Batu. Metode analisis data dengan deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan keuntungan antara petani yang mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan dan petani yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan, dan ada perbedaan jumlah pesentasi pengaruh penyuluhan pertanian terhadap peningkatan sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan petani.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze factors that influence corn production based on land strata (2) Analyze corn farming income based on land strata (3). Analyzing the comparison of the level of corn farming income. This research was carried out in Janti Village, Papar District, Kediri Regency. Types of data in the study are primary data and secondary data. Sampling in this study was conducted by Accidental sampling method with 70 farmers as respondents then grouped based on land tenure. Data analysis used Cobb Douglas model regression analysis, income analysis and different test analysis. The results showed: (1) Simultaneously the variables of land area, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor affected the production of corn in both land strata in the village of Janti. Persially the area of land, seeds and fertilizer have an effect on production on strata I land. While the strata II land is influenced by the persial area of land and fertilizer. (2) The income earned by farmers from corn farming results based on the area of arable land is high, and corn farming in the research area is classified as efficient. (3) The income of corn farming of strata I farmers and strata II farmers in Janti Village, Papar District, Kediri Regency has a difference. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi jagung berdasarkan strata lahan (2) Menganalisis pendapatan usahatani jagung berdasarkan strata lahan (3). Menganalisis perbandingan tingkat pendapatan usahatani jagung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Janti Kecamatan Papar Kabupaten Kediri. Jenis data dalam penelitian yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Accidental sampling dengan 70 petani sebagai responden kemudian dikelompokkan berdasarkan luas penguasaan lahan. Data analisis menggunakan analisis regresi model Cobb Douglas, analisis pendapatan dan analisis uji beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Secara serentak variabel luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadap produksi jagung pada kedua strata lahan di Desa Janti. Secara persial luas lahan, bibit dan pupuk berpengaruh terhadap produksi pada lahan strata I. Sedangkan lahan strata II yang berpangaruh secara persial yaitu luas lahan dan pupuk. (2) Pendapatan yang diperoleh petani dari hasil usahatani jagung berdasarkan luas lahan garapan tergolong tinggi, dan usahatani jagung di daerah penelitian tergolong efesien. (3) Pendapatan usahatani jagung petani strata I dan petani strata II di Desa Janti Kecamatan Papar Kabupaten Kediri memiliki perbedaan.

Abstract

This research was conducted in March 2018 to April 2018 at CV. Galih Putra Farm in Tlekung Village, Junrejo District, with a population of 6000 laying hens that are ready for production. Quantative data research method from CV. Galih Putra Farm company. Data collection in this research is observation and qiussionary method, and for the presentation of quantative calculation data which includes, total cost, total acceptance, profit, R / C ratio, and BEP (Break Even point. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the analysis of feed requirements and incom over feed cost (IOFC) in CV. Galih Putra Farm has reached a standard with an average feed requirement in each month, which is 64.8%, while the percentage of egg production can reach 1.7%, whereas according to the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry, in the period 2000-2012 the race chicken population in Indonesia experienced average increase of 0.61%. While the total production cost of laying hens is Rp. 2,304,076,502, the total revenue is Rp. 2,458,275,200, profit in monthly Rp. 8,566,594, R / C ratio of 1.06, and BEP at Rp. 18,000 / kg and units of Rp. 127,146, 4 / box, so that the business feasibility analysis is said to be feasible to develop. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan Maret 2018 sampai April 2018 di CV. Galih Putra Farm di Desa Tlekung Kecamatan Junrejo, dengan jumlah populasi 6000 ekor ayam petelur yang sudah siap produksi. Metode penelitian data kuantatif dari perusahaan CV.Galih Putra Farm. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi dan qiussioner, dan untuk penyajian data perhitungan kuantatif yaitu meliputi, total biaya, total penerimaan, keutungan, R/C rasio, dan BEP (Break Even point. Dari hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa analisis kebutuhan pakan dan incom over feed cost (IOFC) di CV. Galih Putra Farm sudah mencapai standar dengan rata – rata kebutuhan pakan dalam setiap bulanya yaitu 64,8 %, sedangkan persentase produksi telur bisa mencapai 1,7 %, sedangkan menurut Direktorat Jenderal Peternakan, dalam kurun waktu 2000- 2012 populasi ayam ras di Indonesia mengalami rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 0,61%. Sedangakan untuk total biaya produksi ayam petelur adalah Rp2.304.076.502, total penerimaaan Rp2.458.275.200, keuntungan dalam perbulan Rp8.566.594, R/C Rasio 1,06, dan BEP harga Rp 18.000/kg dan unit Rp127.146,4/boks, sehingga dalam analisis kelayakan usaha di katakan layak di kembangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the production of business laying hens in the District of Junrejo. The quantitative method uses multiple linear regression using computer program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 21. Data obtained by direct interviews and questionnaires, where the variable Y is the production of business laying hens and X are independent variables which include capital (X1), seeds (X2), feed (X3), cages (4), medicine, vitamins and vaccines ( 5), labor (6), and mortality (7). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the most dominant factor affecting the production of the business of laying hens in the District of Junrejo is feed (X3). It is expected that the next researcher can develop research on variables that affect the production of business laying hens by using other variables that have not been used in this study. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apakah yang mempengaruhi produksi usaha ayam petelur di Kecamatan Junrejo. Metode kuantitatif menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program komputer Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 21. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara langsung dan kuisioner, dimana variabel Y adalah Produksi Usaha ayam petelur dan X adalah variabel independen yang meliputi modal (X1), bibit (X2), pakan (X3), kandang (4), obat, vitamin dan vaksin (5), tenaga kerja (6), dan mortalitas (7). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi produksi usaha ayam petelur di Kecamatan Junrejo adalah pakan (X3). Diharapkan pada peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan penelitian tentang variabel yang mempengaruhi produksi usaha ayam petelur dengan menggunakan variabel-variabel yang lain yang belum digunakan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Area Homes Preserved Food (AHPF) is a program of the Ministry of agriculture against the attitude of positive or negative environment. Lawns generally untapped optimally, both in an effort to meet the needs of the household and as a means to supplement the family income, so most of the functions of the grounds for this just serves as means of aesthetics only. This research aims to describe KRPL relating to understanding. This research was carried out in June-August 2017 in Kelurahan of Bandungrejosari sub-district of Breadfruit Malang. The method of research used Descriptive Qualitative with the help of Excel for windows to get in-depth data is done with the interview, questionnaire and observation (observation) with a total sample of 34 people. Based on the results of the study showed that the understanding of the members of the Group of women farmers KRPL retrieved results ; find out the program: History of KRPL, head of the PKK, and extension officers/PPL as much as 52.94%, from: Chairman of the Rt, Rw and neighbors as much as 47.05%; never accept a material extension officers; ways of making verticultur or terraced crops as much as 50%, manufacture of liquid manure by as much as 50%; following training in the village and in the village Hall as much as 67.64% Rt Rw and, in as much as 32.35%; nursery nurseries; using pot and poly bag as much as 55.88%, racks, and bottles as much as 44.11%; never accept help; seeds, and seed as much as 70.58%, pots, polybag and paralon as much as 29.41%; land area yards > 50 m2 for as much as 40% and < 20.58 m2 as much as 79.41%. Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (KRPL) merupakan salah satu program Kementerian Pertanian terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan positif maupun negatif. Pekarangan pada umumnya belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, baik dalam usaha untuk memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga maupun sebagai sarana untuk menambah penghasilan keluarga, sehingga sebagian besar fungsi dari pekarangan selama ini hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana estetika saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan KRPL dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2017 di Kelurahan Bandungrejosari Kecamatan Sukun Kota Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan bantuan Excel for windows untuk mendapatkan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, kuesioner dan pengamatan (observasi) dengan jumlah sampel 34 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pemahaman anggota kelompok wanita tani KRPL diperoleh yaitu; mengetahui program KRPL dari: Lurah, Ketua PKK, dan Penyuluh/PPL sebanyak 52,94%, dari: Ketua Rt, Rw dan Tetangga sebanyak 47,05%; pernah menerima materi penyuluh; cara pembuatan vertikultur sebanyak 50%, pembuatan pupuk cair sebanyak 50%; mengikuti pelatihan di Kelurahan dan di Balai Desa sebanyak 67,64%, di Rw dan Rt sebanyak 32,35%; persemaian kebun bibit; menggunakan pot dan polybag sebanyak 55,88%, rak, dan botol bekas sebanyak 44,11%; pernah menerima bantuan; bibit, dan benih sebanyak 70,58%, pot, polybag dan paralon sebanyak 29,41%; luas lahan pekarangan >50 m2 sebanyak 20,58% dan

Abstract

Structure and market power are important factors for marketing agencies to find out how the market strength of the products they have. The purpose of this research is to determine the market structure of cayenne farmers and the market power level of cayenne farmers in Bocek Village, Karangploso District. This research was conducted in May-June 2018, by determining the location of the research purposive or intentionally. Respondents in this research were cayenne farmers and marketing agencies involding in marketing cayenne from farmers to end consumers. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The result in this research indicate that the market structure of cayenne farmers is an oligopsonic competition market, and the market power level of cayenne farmers has a low competitive. Struktur dan kekuatan pasar merupakan faktor penting bagi pelaku pemasaran untuk mengetahui bagaimana kekuatan pasar produk yang mereka miliki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui struktur pasar petani cabai dan derajat kekuatan pasar petani cabai rawit Desa Bocek, Kecamatan Karangploso. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei- Juni 2018, dengan penentuan lokasi penelitian secara purposive atau secara sengaja. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah petani cabai rawit di Desa Bocek dan lembaga pemasaran yang terlibat dalam memasarkan cabai rawit dari petani hingga ke konsumen akhir. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskribtif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur pasar petani cabai rawit adalah pasar persaingan oligopsoni, dan derajat kekuatan pasar petani cabai rawit memiliki derajat kompetitif yang rendah.

Abstract

The silkworm is a very important product in the production of currencies. At present, the demand for cocoon and silk is increasing, which may offer silkworm producers new opportunities to feed on cassava leaves. The purpose of this study is to determine the partnership system of silkworm entrepreneurs with silkworm breeders and to determine how to analyze the efforts of silkworm breeders in Lawang District. The data analysis method used was descriptive and qualitative to determine the partnership system and analysis of silkworm activities. Data obtained through direct interviews and questionnaires. The partnership model set up by silkworm entrepreneurs with silkworm breeders is a model of partnership based on plasma. Where the contractor is the nucleus that supplies the seeds and sells the silkworms. Farmers in the form of plasma preparing only soils, cages and silkworms. The business analysis in this study includes fixed costs, variable costs, total costs, revenues and profits. The income of each silkworm producer in Lawang Subdistrict is 1,813,250 rupees. According to the results of the study, the role of partnerships in the silkworm sector is very useful and profitable for silkworm farming. It is hoped that researchers will be able to develop research on the partnership of silkworm entrepreneurs. Ulat sutera merupakan komuditas yang cukup penting dalam prolehan devisa negara. Saat ini permintaan kokon dan benang sutera semakin meningkat sehingga dapat memberikan peluang yang prospektif bagi petani ulat sutera dengan pakan daun singkong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem kemitraan pengusaha ulat sutera dengan petani ulat sutera, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis usaha petani ulat sutera di Kecamatan Lawang. Metode analisa data yang digunakan secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui sistem kemitraan dan analisis usaha ulat sutera. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara langsung dan kuisioner. Pola kemitraan yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha ulat sutera dengan petani ulat sutera adalah pola kemitraan inti plasma. Dimana pengusaha sebagai inti yang menyediakan bibit dan menjual ulat sutera. Petani sebagai plasma dimana hanya menyiapkan lahan, kandang, dan pakan ulat sutera. Analisis usaha dalam penelitian ini meliputi biaya tetap, biaya variabel, biaya total, penerimaan, dan keuntungan. Penghasilan setiap petani ulat sutera di Kecamatan Lawang yaitu Rp 1.813.250,-. Dari hasil penelitian, peran kemitraan didalam usaha ulat sutera ini cukup membantu dan menguntungkan untuk dilakukan didalam beternak ulat sutera. Diharapkan peneliti dapat mengembangkan penelitian tentang kemitraan pengusaha ulat sutera.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical quality of tiren chicken and fresh meat in terms of water content and fat content. Meat samples taken are breast meat. The material used in this study was a sample of 20 weeks of Lohman Strain broiler chickens. The time of research began on May 2 to May 31, in the laboratory of Universitas Brawijaya Malang and the Muhammadiyah Malang laboratory. The experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments, namely: P1 = zero hours of death; P2 = 6 hours of P3 = 12 hours of death; P4 = 18 hours long of death; P5) = 24 hours of death with 3 replications. Abstract

Motivation and competence towards the success of citrus farmers. The purpose of this study was to analyze citrus farmers and to analyze citrus farmers in urban development areas, in Tlekung Village, Batu City. This research took place in Tlekung Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. This research was conducted for three months, starting from May 2018 to July 2018. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. Based on the results of statistical descriptions, motivation has a positive influence on the success of citrus farmers and competence has a positive and significant influence on the success of citrus farmers in the Urban Development Area. in Tlekung Village, Batu City. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi terhadap keberhasilan petani jeruk dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi terhadap Keberhasilan petani jeruk di wilayah Pengembangan perkotaan, di Desa Tlekung Kota Batu. penelitian ini bertempat di Desa Tlekung, Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan, yaitu mulai dari bulan Mei 2018 s.d Juli 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil deskripsi statistik motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap Keberhasilan petani jeruk dan kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keberhasilan petani jeruk di Wilayah Pengembangan. Perkotaan di Desa Tlekung Kota Batu.
