Abstract

This research was conducted in March 2018 to April 2018 at CV. Galih Putra Farm in Tlekung Village, Junrejo District, with a population of 6000 laying hens that are ready for production. Quantative data research method from CV. Galih Putra Farm company. Data collection in this research is observation and qiussionary method, and for the presentation of quantative calculation data which includes, total cost, total acceptance, profit, R / C ratio, and BEP (Break Even point. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the analysis of feed requirements and incom over feed cost (IOFC) in CV. Galih Putra Farm has reached a standard with an average feed requirement in each month, which is 64.8%, while the percentage of egg production can reach 1.7%, whereas according to the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry, in the period 2000-2012 the race chicken population in Indonesia experienced average increase of 0.61%. While the total production cost of laying hens is Rp. 2,304,076,502, the total revenue is Rp. 2,458,275,200, profit in monthly Rp. 8,566,594, R / C ratio of 1.06, and BEP at Rp. 18,000 / kg and units of Rp. 127,146, 4 / box, so that the business feasibility analysis is said to be feasible to develop. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan Maret 2018 sampai April 2018 di CV. Galih Putra Farm di Desa Tlekung Kecamatan Junrejo, dengan jumlah populasi 6000 ekor ayam petelur yang sudah siap produksi. Metode penelitian data kuantatif dari perusahaan CV.Galih Putra Farm. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi dan qiussioner, dan untuk penyajian data perhitungan kuantatif yaitu meliputi, total biaya, total penerimaan, keutungan, R/C rasio, dan BEP (Break Even point. Dari hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa analisis kebutuhan pakan dan incom over feed cost (IOFC) di CV. Galih Putra Farm sudah mencapai standar dengan rata – rata kebutuhan pakan dalam setiap bulanya yaitu 64,8 %, sedangkan persentase produksi telur bisa mencapai 1,7 %, sedangkan menurut Direktorat Jenderal Peternakan, dalam kurun waktu 2000- 2012 populasi ayam ras di Indonesia mengalami rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 0,61%. Sedangakan untuk total biaya produksi ayam petelur adalah Rp2.304.076.502, total penerimaaan Rp2.458.275.200, keuntungan dalam perbulan Rp8.566.594, R/C Rasio 1,06, dan BEP harga Rp 18.000/kg dan unit Rp127.146,4/boks, sehingga dalam analisis kelayakan usaha di katakan layak di kembangkan.

Abstract

This research is attempt to bring out marketing mix that dominate the consumer behavior in purchasing beef, to know marketing factors model that recognized by consumer to purchase the beef and to know what marketing strategy implemented by Hypermart MATOS. The research conducted from May to July 2018 involving 100 respondents. A purposive sampling methods was carefully used in determining respondents. Research is conducted by gathering data from primary source that is questionnaire and secondary source directly collected from the firm. Primary data analysis processed in order to highlight factor model that considered by consumer and SWOT analysis to describe company’s condition in specifying marketing strategy. The result shows that marketing mix most considered by consumer to purchase the beef including the product it self, place and promotions influences 26,414 percent, 26,165 percent and 22,778 percent, respectively. Factor model we considered including: factor 1 : competitive price and product it self such variable X5 (flavor), X7 (color), X8 (expiration date), X11 (price changes); factor 2 : the package involving variable X1 (packaging form), X2 (the package easy to open), and X3 (packaging materials); factor 3 : display product on show case as variable X4 (product display). Each factor model has their impacts 33,474 percent, 14,948 percent and 11,413 percent, respectively. Marketing strategy growth and build consists of market penetration by selling product in lower price to market segment which is sensitive to price, product development (diversification) referred to product factor model and price comparison, packaging and displays by giving recipes information from each type of beef and market development in order to fit demography condition and beef consumer characteristics in Malang.

Abstract

Livestock business by farmers in the Damsol District of Donggala Regency is still traditionally held as a sideline business and low productivity. The objective of this study was to analyze the potential influence of basic and technology potencies farmers on the development of livestock in the Damsol District of Donggala Regency. The study was conducted from November 2011 to January 2012. Total respondents is 40 farmers selected from 123 farmers. Analyzed data included analysis of the basic potential of farmers, technology potential of farmers, and multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effects of the basic and technology potentials of farmers on the development of livestock business. The results showed that the ability of individual farmers in the district was good enough. Basic and technology potentials of the farmers were in medium category. Basic potential of farmer (experience, formal and non formal education, and communication intensity) and technology potential of farmer (feed technology, prevention and control of disease, and the selection of parent), simultaneously affected the development of livestock business at the Damsol District of Donggala Regency. Experience (basic potency), ability to provide feed (technology potency) and ability to select parent (technology potency) significantly influenced the development of livestock business

Abstract

Pomacea canaliculata Lamarckis a land water snail,knowing as gold snail, that famously knowed as pestin the rice plant since 10 day age after transplanted. Harvest loss because this animal decreasing ricemild (gabah) range 16-40%. Arabian chicken (Gallus turcicus) basicly one ofnative chicken (buras) that already adapted it could be layed280 eggs and people consider that Arabian chicken egg is native chicken egg. The research was done to determine the precentage of gold snail powder (as alternative feed) that would give the best feed consumption andegg production quality. Field research used Completely Randomized Design replication with substitution of control feed with gold snail powder including P0 (basic/control feed without gold snail powder), P1 (97.5% control feed + 2.5% gold snail powder), P2 (95% control feed + 5% gold snail powder), P3 (92.5% control feed + 7.5% gold snail powder), and P4 (90% control feed + 10% gold snail powder), each treatments was repeatedly 5 times and if there were significant effect it would continued by Least Significant Different. The research showed that the using of gold snail powder doesn’t gives significant effect on feed consumption and FCR (feed convertion ratio). More higher of gold snail powder substitution couse the colour of egg yolk become tough, and also the egg heavy, egg diameter, and eggshell thickness become hight, but more highergold snail powdercousing the decreasing of egg yolk fat.10%.Gold snail powdersubstitution show the the best result on egg yolk colour, egg yolk fat, and higher eggsheel. It is suggested continued research usinggold snail powder more than 10% in feed formulation but giving attention on protein and energy balancing, and mineral content not decrease egg production.

Abstract

The aim of this study are : (1) to identify production profile of broiler’s partnership at Gerbangkertosusila region; (2) to identify farmer’s profile of broiler’s partnership at Gerbangkertosusila region; (3) to identify human resources development factors of broiler’s partnership. This research done at Gerbangkertosusila region (Gresik, Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo dan Lamongan) East Java Province for 2 (two) months. This research is quantitative research with Cross Sectional Survey which mean questionnaire method by question list used in order to data collected as primary and secondary data. Primary data collected by survey, observation and depth interviewed with questionnaire used in order to got valid data, such as farmer profile and production profile information. Secondary data collected by data study and documentation from government documents and broiler’s partnership corporation related documents. Data analysist was descriptive analysist. The conclusion of this study are : (1) Broiler’s farmer profile are mostly (90%) at productive ages with Senior High School graduated as the most common (75%) and an enterpreneur as main profession (45%) which more than 3 years of production periods (80%) and had experiences at 2 kind of broiler’s partnership models (60%); (2) Management contract as the most choosen broiler’s partnership models by respondents

Abstract

Trash from the newspaper is something that is often overlooked and considered one eye by some people. Midden in down-town city often do not immediately handled well. In fact, if utilized will bring value to the efforts to find a distinct advantage. Garbage such as old newspapers, cardboard and garbage that comes from the dried leaves can be recycled into craft high value such as bags, photo frames, mirror frames, tissue box, blocnotes. This study aims to look at the benefits, costs and feasibility of the business of recycling newsprint. This event was held at the business group Sekarwangi from April to November 2016.The method applied is a method of collecting primary and secondary data. A set of analysis applied to answer this purpose, such as total cost, total revenue and net BC ratio. The analysis showed that the amount of the costs and benefits of newsprint recycling efforts have amounted Rp 46.612.400, - and Rp. 82.500.000, -, and this business is viable with the BC ratio of 1.77. Through the application of good management in marketing and finance will take this business as a promising business venture because it can help in increasing the family income.

Abstract

Secara umum peternakan sapi potong di Kecamatan Plaosan, Kabupaten Magetan masih dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat secara tradisional sebagai usaha sambilan, sehingga produktivitas usaha menjadi sangat rendah dimana pendapatan keluarga yang berasal dari ternak sangat rendah sehingga berdampak pada perkembangan sapi potong relatif lambat. Salah satu strategi yang dilaksanakan pemerintah adalah upaya peningkatan kualitas sumberdaya dengan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap dalam proses penerapan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh antara potensi dasar dan potensi pengusaan teknologi peternak dalam pengembangan sapi potong di Kecamatan Plaosan, Kabupaten Magetan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Plaosan Kabupaten Magetan dari bulan Desember 2017 - Januari 2018. Peternak responden yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah peternak di Kecamatan Plaosan, Kabupaten Magetan. Pengambilan sampel responden peternak dengan menggunakan metode acak sederhana (simple random samping), yaitu dari 123 peternak yang ada di Kecamatan Plaosan, Kabupaten Magetan diambil secara acak sebanyak 40 orang sebagai sampel. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data primer melalui survei dimaksudkan untuk melaksanakan pengamatan langsung para peternak atau pemelihara sapi potong yang terpilih sebagai responden. Variabel penting yang diamati adalah (a) potensi dasar peternak (pengalaman beternak, pendidikan formal dan non formal serta intensitas berkomunikasi peternak) dan (b) potensi penguasaan teknologi (teknologi pakan, pencegahan dan penanggulangan penyakit dan seleksi ternak). Analisis data meliputi analisis potensi dasar peternak, analisis potensi penguasaan teknologi peternak dan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh potensi dasar dan potensi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan peternak sapi potong individu yang berada di Kecamatan Plaosan, Kabupaten Magetan sudah cukup baik. Dimana dari hasil nilai skor beberapa variabel Potensi Dasar Peternak maupun Potensi Penguasaan Teknologi dalam kategori sedang. Potensi dasar peternak (pengalaman beternak, pendidikan formal, pendidikan non formal dan intensitas komunikasi) dan potensi penguasaan teknologi peternak (teknologi pakan, pencegahan dan penanggulangan penyakit, dan seleksi pejantan/induk), secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan sapi potong di Kecamatan Plaosan, Kabupaten Magetan. Pengalaman beternak (potensi dasar), kemampuan menyediakan pakan (potensi penguasaan teknologi) dan kemampuan seleksi pejantan / induk (potensi penguasaan teknologi) berpengaruh nyata terhadap pengembangan usaha ternak sapi potong di Kecamatan Plaosan Kabupaten Magetan.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan terhadap peternak kelinci pedaging yang berada di Desa Bumiaji Kota Batu sejumlah 20 peternak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2019 sampai Januari 2020. Lokasi sengaja dipilih dengan alasan Desa Bumiaji memiliki jumlah peternak kelinci cukup banyak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan daging kelinci sebagai komoditas unggulan Kota Wisata Batu. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui minat usaha peternak dalam penggemukan kelinci. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan total sampling. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu bibit kelinci, pakan, lahan dan kandang, nilai ekonomi, dan peran pemerintah. Analisa data menggunakan pendekatan regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas yaitu faktor produksi bibit kelinci, pakan, lahan dan kandang, nilai ekonomi dan peran pemerintah di dalam penelitian berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikat yaitu minat usaha peternak penggemukan kelinci Di Desa Bumiaji Kota Wisata Batu sebesar 0,503. Angka tersebut menggambarkan bahwa faktor produksi mempunyai korelasi sebesar 50% terhadap minat usaha peternak kelinci sisanya adalah variabel lain diluar indikator di dalam penelitian sebesar 50%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian adalah variabel lahan kandang, dan nilai ekonomi merupakan faktor yang dominan mempengaruhi minat peternak dalam usaha penggemukan kelinci dengan besaran koefisien regresi secara berurutan sebesar 0,482 dan 0,238 dengan batas toleransi 0,05%. Dikutip dari kesimpulan, sebaiknya penting adanya peran pemerintah untuk penyediaan lahan untuk mendukung produktifitas dan minat usaha penggemukan peternak kelinci di Kota Wisata Batu.

Abstract

This Community Service raises the business of Enting Ginger and Enting Kacang, Dusun Kungkuk, Punten Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. The village is famous for its apple farming, one of which is Punten Village. With cold weather conditions, making apples thrive in the area and as one of the livelihoods of the residents of Kungkuk hamlet. For five years (2005-2010), there was a decline in the production of apple commodities which brought social impacts such as the children of apple farmers who went to school unable to continue their education and were forced to stop their education at the junior high or high school level, because there was no more money to continue their education. This kind of phenomenon spurred Mrs. Yayuk Murniwati to establish a non-apple product processing business in the form of enting, namely ginger and peanut enting. However, this business is still not developed due to limited capital and machines owned. The method to be applied is the method of community empowerment for homemakers to increase the productivity and independence of partners economically and socially through counseling and mentoring efforts. Assistance or introduction of tools in ginger and peanut grinding machines for making entings and packaging machines helped them advance and develop their business.ABSTRAKPengabdian Masyarakat ini mengangkat Usaha Enting Jahe dan Enting Kacang Dusun Kungkuk Desa Punten Kecamatan Bumiaji Kota Batu. Desa yang terkenal dengan pertanian apel, salah satunya Desa Punten. Dengan kondisi cuaca yang dingin, membuat apel tumbuh subur di daerah tersebut dan sebagai salah satu mata pencaharian warga dusun Kungkuk. Selama 5 tahun (2005-2010) terjadi penurunan produksi komoditas apel yang membawa dampak sosial seperti para anak petani apel yang sekolah tidak dapat melanjutkan pendidikan dan terpaksa menghentikan jenjang pendidikannya pada tingkat SMP ataupun SMA, karena sudah tidak ada lagi biaya untuk melanjutkan pendidikan. Fenomena semacam ini memacu ibu Yayuk Murniwati untuk mendirikan usaha olahan produk non-apel berupa enting yaitu enting jahe dan enting kacang. Namun, usaha ini masih belum berkembang dikarenakan keterbatasan modal dan mesin yang dimiliki. Metode yang akan diterapkan yaitu metode pemberdayaan masyarakat kelompok ibu rumah tangga dalam upaya peningkatan produktivitas dan kemandirian mitra secara ekonomi, sosial melalui usaha penyuluhan dan pendampingan. Bantuan ataupun perkenalan alat berupa mesin penggiling jahe dan kacang untuk proses pembuatan enting serta mesin pengemasan sangat membantu mereka dalam memajukan  dan mengembangkan usaha.

Abstract

The research was conducted using a survey method at the KOP SAE, Pujon, Malang in March 2020 with the consideration that the SAE Dairy Cooperative in Pujon is one of the largest dairy cooperatives in Malang which supplies a lot of milk to several dairy processing industries. The data used are primary and secondary data, where primary data is obtained from the results of questionnaires filled in by respondents from research sites, journals, and books to support research results. The number of samples selected was 100 people using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used the descriptive qualitative analysis method by obtaining the correlation between marketing mix variables (product, price, place, promotion, and people) on consumer purchasing decisions in buying fresh milk products and processed products at the KOP SAE, Pujon, Malang Regency. The conclusion of the research is that product variable, place variables, and promotion variables have a dominant influence on consumer purchasing decisions in buying fresh and processed milk products with significance values of 0.285, 0.256, and 0.223 respectively. While the service and price variables simultaneously provide a positive relationship and correlation with sequential values of 0.211 and 0.164, therefore it is considered less significant in influencing consumer decisions in buying fresh and processed milk products in the KOP SAE, Pujon, Malang.
