Abstract

Tourism is one of the selling point that Bandar Lampung City has. The information about the location of tourist attraction and the supporting facility was given in booklet and tourism map. The information distribution through those media haven’t use the technology that appropriate to the current development. Some research methods were used in this research such as, data collection methods and system design methods. The data collection methods were done in several ways such as interview with the respondents, literature study and observation. The system design methods use UML (Unified Modelling Language). The output from this research is a design of geographic information system that interactive with the user and able to attract the tourist attention to visit Bandar Lampung City and the tourist attraction. With this design hopefully can bring more information about a tourist attraction in Bandar Lampung City and gain more tourist to visit Bandar Lampung City. KEY WORDSGeographic Information System, Design, Tourism

Abstract

Face recognition is a person identification system that uses a person’s facial characteristics. Facial recognition is itself a branch of biometrics, which is a science that uses physical characteristics of a person to determine or disclose his identity. The system developed in this thesis is a system that uses face recognition feature extraction based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA). This technique involves taking a major component of facial database. To determine the accuracy of human face recognition system designed in this final project, has conducted trials using the system with as many as 60 input facial image of the database. From the results of testing this system, the result is a 80% system performance in recognizing the input image correctly. Keywords : Facial Recognition, biometrik, PCA.

Abstract

Standards of care in multi-story buildings become anecessity. The standard of care should apply to all parts of thebuilding. One of the most important storied buildings thatrequire maintenance is the roof of the building. The side of theroof is the topside of the building, this side function to protectthe building from rainwater, wind, and sun. The very importantpart of the roof is treated and applies to all types of buildings.Especially for a roofed building that is roofed, the problem in itsmaintenance is an examination of the roof itself. Side handling ofthe roof is difficult to handle by humans without any tools. Onehandling for the roof side is the detection of roof sidedamage. Darmajaya multi-story building includes a high risebuilding that has a roof. Thus, Darmajaya building has problemsin detecting roof damage. So far, it detects roof damage inthe Damajaya building just by looking at the wet part of theinside of the building. This method cannot prevent theoccurrence of roof leaks. Therefore, a tool is needed to detectdamage to the roof side of Darmajaya building. The required toolis Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). Benefits of a UAV witha wifi antenna for wireless data communications. Wirelesscommunication is used for communication and sending video tomobile stations. Station device moves as a medium for displayingstreaming video. Mobile station devices are used tocontrol UAVs. Mobile-based mobile stations to run UAV controlapplications. The UAV control application is used tocontrol UAVs and cameras. The UAV application is also used tocontrol the camera as a picture capture and video recording. Theresults of the video in the form of streaming video that real-timeas a detection of damage to the roof of the building. So, to detectthe damage to the roof, can use a UAV equipped wifi antennaand camera. The results of this study the use of UAVs to detect damage to the roof of a multi-story building. Keywords : Multi-Story Building, Roof, Unmanned AerialVehicles, Wireless, and Communication.

Abstract

Crops or second crop after rice, usually planted by residents when the water is not sufficient to grow rice, in addition to requiring a long time rice requires a lot of water, while crops are not, crops can be grown only by water every day, or not at all depending on soil moisture itself. Dryland farmers in Lampung are always faced with crop failure due to land resources have not been exploited to the maximum such as climate, soil type, rainfall, humidity, and others.Suitability determination system of crop land is intended to facilitate the farmers to get information about the suitability of land crops. Method development in these applications using the System Development Life Cycle Waterfall model which has several stages, namely, planning, analysis, design, implementation and sistem.Penelitian produces a detection system of crop land suitability for web-based so that farmers can get information anywhere and anytime effectively and efficiently. KEY WORDS: Land Suitability, Forward Chaining, Plant Crops

Abstract

Information services application for students, is one of the form of loyalty from Universities to the students to be active and not left behind in existing information. Student information services previously informed through wall magazine, banner or brochures, this has not been delivered properly and didnt have any activities data either extracurricular activities or intracurricular activities.  Regarding to all interested parties in IBI Darmajaya especially give best service to the student hence the importance of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Application to increase the flow of information needed by students, increasing student interest in every activity, having a database of the most interested activities and to accommodate IBI Darmajayas interest. The data used in this research is all the activities information in the student affair, processed through Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with four phases done in sequence and iterative where each iteration can be used to fix iteration with visual programming language, hence resulting a well produced CRM application for information services. Keywords : CRM Application, Information,  and SDLC.

Abstract

The registration system of Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) conducted at UPN "Veteran" East Java, is still manual, and takes time to queue at the KKN payment counter. This in the wake of the system of community service information that includes this KKN in order to facilitate students in the process and for the university can more easily in the formation of groups automatically.Peranan Group automatic grouping is very important for model random design group on later KKN. In this study the authors use the Single Linkage method. Single Linkage Method is a clustering hierarchical grouping method. Single Linkage method of grouping the data at the closest distance between groups, on some variables that exist in the Single Linkage is from the needs of LPPM UPN Veteran East Java, so officers in LPPM UPN Veteran East Java is no longer difficult in doing the division of students in each group of KKN. Keywords : Information System, Kuliah Kerja Nyata, and Single Linkage.
