Abstract

The government's restrictions on activities during the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the closure of numerous activities. This has resulted in the closure of numerous businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, as a result of a lack of customers. Therefore, a new invention was developed in the field of Entrepreneurial Lockers that enables transactions to be conducted without the need for face-to-face interaction and without the use of cash. This innovation entails the development of a website that serves as a digital ordering and payment system. In order to ensure that users feel secure while using the website, it is imperative to assess the website's data security to prevent the occurrence of any unintended events. The OWASP method is employed in this investigation to assess the security of the IoT-based entrepreneurial storage system in order to identify critical security vulnerabilities. The findings indicate that the system has satisfied numerous security standards; however, it necessitates improvement in the areas of access control, framework updates, and logging. This investigation offers suggestions for enhancing the security of data in IoT-based systems.

Abstract

Kanisius Foundation Branch Surakarta operates in the education field and covers 38 schools. The school's budget planning and revenue was drawn up at the beginning of the new academic year and reported using the Microsoft Excel application. Some schools have different data formats and structures, which cause data management is not well integrated. Based on these issues, the purpose of this research is to help the Kanisius Foundation Branch Surakarta by developing a School Budget Planning and Revenue Accounting Information System (RKAS), including billing and payment of school fees. This research uses agile methods. The first phase is planning, starting with an overview of RKAS revenue flows, student bills and payment flows. Then compile a Chart of Accounts (COA), create use case and create activity diagrams to design the database design and the basic framework of the program. Then the system is implemented using Laravel, followed by software testing with black box testing. Then the system documentation and deployment. The last stage is maintenance which is performed periodically at a certain time. The School Budget Planning and Revenue Accounting Information System will help Kanisius Foundation Branch Surakarta in management data and make accurate decisions through well-integrated data.

Abstract

The covid19 pandemic has hit almost all countries. Covid-19 is a disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) which results in many deaths, especially for patients who have comorbidities. By using the machine learning SVM method, predict of the classification between comorbid and death.. The comorbid taken were pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, asthma, insomnia, hypertension, cardiovascular, chronic renal, obesity, and USM. This paper also added with smokers in the feature. The data were taken from Kaggle which is data from the Mexican government from 2020-2021. The SVM method uses a linear kernel and radial basis function to get the F1 value to know which these have the results better. This paper also compares the results of F1 values using other methods such as KNN, Logistic regression, Xboost, decision tree, Random Forest and Multilayer Perceptron and the last, to know the importance feature or which comorbid has the highest death rate using SVM. The Result is SVM uses linear and rbf gets almost the same F1 value. It also same with other methods and the pneumonia has the highest death rate.

Abstract

Canisius Foundation Surakarta Branch is a non-profit organization engaged in education and located in Solo, Central Java. The Foundation is facing serious challenges in terms of receiving financial reports from schools and accounting recording processes that have not been standardized. Currently, the foundation still relies on Excel files sent by schools every semester, which slows down the managerial decision-making process. Due to these conditions, this research proposes the development of an Accounting Information System at the Canisius Foundation Surakarta Branch using the Agile method, specifically Feature-Driven Development (FDD). In this research, the system is designed by providing a unified financial report format and standardized standards for the accounting and transaction recording process. The Agile FDD method is used to ensure the development of a system that is fast, adaptive, and in accordance with the needs of the Foundation. It is expected that the designed system will help the Canisius Foundation Surakarta Branch to improve the foundation's operational efficiency, accelerate managerial decision-making, and produce more accurate financial reports. This research integrates modern technology with the accounting needs of educational foundations in accordance with applicable regulations, namely ISAK 35, and can be a foundation for the development of similar systems in other institutions.

Abstract

This study explores the effect of smoking habits on insurance costs using the linear regression method. Data was collected from various sources that included information on smoking habits and insurance costs. Using RapidMiner, linear regression analysis was conducted to predict the pattern of insurance costs influenced by smoking status. The results show that smokers tend to pay higher insurance premiums than non-smokers, in line with the health risks they carry. This study highlights the importance of including smoking habits in insurance pricing models, which can help insurance companies set more appropriate premiums based on individual risk. Thus, the results of this study not only deepen the understanding of the relationship between smoking and insurance costs, but also provide practical guidance for insurance companies in developing pricing policies that are more responsive to customers' risk profiles.

Abstract

Chemistry is one of the elective subjects and cross-interest subjects taught at the high school level or equivalent secondary education. The periodic table is a chart that contains the names and types of chemical elements grouped according to their similarities and properties. In current learning, more than 75% of high school students still face difficulties in naming elements in the periodic table, especially in understanding the periodic system and the regularities of the chemical properties of these elements. Conventional teaching methods often bore students, and there is a need for engaging learning media to enhance the learning outcomes. With the increasing use of Android gadgets, where students use Android devices for classes, learning through games on Android can be effective. This game is designed using Unity in 2D format and is built for the Android platform, specifically for chemistry education in grade X of high school. The chosen game design method for this application is the waterfall method. The result of this research is the game "Chem Ball" for educating Group A periodic table elements for high school grade X students. The game was tested with five high school students, and the results indicate that students are assisted in learning the periodic table of chemistry (memorizing, understanding, and recalling the sequence of elements in the periodic table) through the attractive and interactive interface of the "Chem Ball" game. "Chem Ball" is also proven to be easy and practical for high school students to play. After playing the game, students feel that learning the periodic table of chemistry has become easier.
