Abstract

This study aims to determine how the strategies carried out by Public Vocational High Schools in Malang City, Indonesia, implement character education in the distance learning system. This research occurred at the 2nd  PublicVocational High School (SMKN 2 Malang), Computer and Network Engineering Department. The design of this research is an interactive qualitative analysis model, i.e., reduction, data presentation, and deduction. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation for six months. Data documentation consists of diagnostic tests, Learning Management System (LMS) screenshots, and discipline time records during distance learning. This study shows that from knowledge aspect, teachers can understand students' character well so that the application of multiple intelligence strategies by utilizing diagnostic tests and LMS can be realized. However, the implementation of character education often experiences problems or lacks student technical support, so its implementation is carried out consistently by incorporating character values in every learning activity. This study recommends that observation activities be carried out when learning activities need to be optimized with synchronous learning activities.

Abstract

Nowadays, many games are made for educational or learning purposes. However, the unresolved challenge remains, and the perfect balance between the fun and learning aspects remains. This paper represents an effort toward such a challenge by way of game difficulty dynamization implementation in a game to improve preschoolers reading skills using Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment dan Procedural Content Generation. To measure the balance of fun and learning aspects in the game, experiments were conducted involving 32 preschoolers. The proposed game can generate 10.962 game content in various difficulties and balance the fun and learning aspects according to the enjoyment factor's average value. Students could enjoy the game while significantly gaining an increase in the average reading skill, based on the t-test value and NGain value of 0.551.

Abstract

Previous research has proven that the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) can increase the efficiency of human work. However, the design of the usefulness of UAV is considered to be limited. This limitation, for example, is that the UAV's lifting capacity is only capable of lifting 3-5 kilograms of load on average. In addition, the main material of the UAV frame also uses carbon fiber produced by build-up factories abroad, this makes the UAV design less economical. Furthermore, this study discusses the development of the UAV's lifting capacity of 25 kilograms to be able to lift the pesticide liquid load and considers the economic value. The hexacopter type multicopter UAV design was chosen in this study, equipped with 6 main propulsion rotors capable of carrying out its main task of lifting heavy loads, compared to the multicopter type of fewer than 6 rotors. The design is carried out by calculating the lifting force and analyzing the strength structure of the frame material with the help of AutoDesk Inventor software. The final result of the study was that the aluminum-based heavy-lift hexacopter drone was able to support heavy loads, as evidenced by structural analysis simulations resulting in a safety factor value of 1.67 ul, equipped with a 120KV rotor, 23x88 inch propeller, and 6S lipo battery 16,000 mAh, with a total weight of the frame 15kg drone flying for 19 minutes, with an additional 10kg of load the drone can fly for 6 minutes. This research can be developed by adding a nozzle or griper so that it can lift the pesticide spraying tank on a large enough agricultural land.

Abstract

In 2025, Indonesia has launched a zero-waste program. Towards a zero-waste program, of course, the community is given awareness in sorting and processing waste. Waste management is a common problem in urban or rural areas, along with the increase in population and people's lifestyles. Waste problems that are not handled properly can cause environmental problems (pollution of air, soil, and water) and public health. Based on the origin, waste is divided into organic and inorganic waste; organic waste is produced from biological materials that can be degraded by microbes or are biodegradable, or waste from fruit, vegetable, and leaf residues. This organic waste is the majority of the waste generated from households, so it is necessary to think about how to process it that is beneficial and efficient. One of these organic waste processing is processed into Eco enzymes, namely processing organic waste with molasses and water in a ratio of !:3:10. The organic waste processing process is first chopped to become a small part to facilitate the fermentation process. The automation of this chopping machine uses Arduino as a microcontroller, a load cell as a measure of the weight of organic waste, an electric motor as a driving force, a solenoid door lock as a lock for the organic waste load before grinding, and a knife as an organic waste count. The purpose of making this tool is to help chop organic waste in the process of processing eco enzymes. The research results on the automation of this organic waste chopper machine loadcell with a load of 1 Kg runs well; the solenoid door lock can hold organic waste to work well. The research results on the motor for upper milling are given a large torque equipped with a downward knife position and a pillow block so that the motor does not shake.

Abstract

This research is a software development research that aims to develop a lecture attendance system because from the past until now the computer engineering and informatics education study program did not have an attendance database, therefore the attendance data collection itself was done manually which could trigger human error and attendance fraud which is often done by students. Therefore it is necessary to develop a student attendance information system using a QR Code. The application quality based on ISO 9126 quality standards. In this study, system data analysis and collection, prototyping, prototyping, system coding, system testing, system evaluation, and system use. Data was collected using interviews, observation, and survey techniques. The system was validated by two system experts and evaluated by 40 students from the In-formation Technology and Computer Engineering study program at UNM. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Based on these findings, we created an application that can manage wedding guest data. Based on the test results, you will get the following results: (a) Very good functionality in this category; (b) The maintainability aspect has met the maintainability standard; (c) The portability aspect is rated 1 or very good category; (d) Aspect of reliability with a percentage value of 99.9 so that it meets the reliability standards set in the Telcordia standard; (e) The efficiency aspect of this application is Grade B with a performance percentage of 83; and (f) The system user rating (usability aspect) has a score of 88.05 or very good in the category.
