Abstract

Muhammadiyah is the Islamic movements that make Islam as the soul in any aspects of life. complexity of the faith problems dan Muamalah that hit people make Muhammadiyah should be able to be creative in dawah. The challenge in keeping Islam in order to become a genuine religion of various forms of shirk and hypocrisy is still relevant. New TBC styles or modern TBC, such as secularism, liberalism, materialism, syncretism and relativism, and other isms that it is shirk and modern hypocrite which are no less dangerous than the traditional TBC. In addition the problem of poverty, economic disparities, pornography, crime and other social problems remains a heavy burden for the nation. Islamic progressive of Muhammadiyah as a trade mark in this period is a movement of enlightenment for the people and nation.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah, founded by Ahmad Dahlan is a cultural forms, which reflected a critical attitude Ahmad Dahlan in 1912. This can be seen from a variety of social activities, modern school education, health care, compensation for orphans and the elderly as well as the issuance of the press, as well as in Islamic sermon. The forms of the empirical culture stored in Ahmad Dahlan thought within the framework of realization the spirit of the Islamic functional values.

Abstract

This paper reveals about the Muhammadiyah movement which is very strategic, it is reformist-modern Islamic movement that takes the mid position with Islamic view “progressive fondation”.  Muhammadiyah view can be used as the fondation of the modern world enters a new era of the twenty-first century, which has entered the second century with the theme "progressive Islam" and "Enlightenment Movement". The agenda is how to give the epistemological and methodological foundation for Muhammadiyah movement in the second century more strongly so as to present an alternative praxis.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the perception, motivation, and factors supporting or inhibiting student STIKES Aisyiyah Surakarta wear Islamic dress. The method used was participant observation (observation participate) and indepth interviews (depth interview), made especially to students who have completed the Mahad program. As a result, the perception of Islamic dress is dominated by the lack of proper understanding, whereas motivation OF Islamic dresing is dominated by the influence of the religious environment and the influence of parents who have a good understanding of Islamic teachings. It is at once a contributing factor, whereas a non-religious environment becomes the obstacle factor.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah figures contributed greatly to the continuity of the Republic of Indonesia, including in the preparation of the foundations of the State. At the time of the first principle was proposed by Ki Bagus, it asserted that belief in one God means monotheism (tauhidullah) for Muslims. With this principle, Muhammadiyah will keep the deal as long as the deal is still providing benefit for Islam and Muslims, especially in Indonesia. That is Darul Ahdi, this deal is significant and mean Darussalam (peace Nation), Peace Nation between Muslims and non-Muslims, as well as countries that provides peace, freedom and the guarantee for the enforcement of oneness belief and practice the teachings of Islam for its followers. While Pancasila State as Dar al-Shahadah is witness state and proofing that Muslims should play an active role to give meaning to the understanding, appreciation and practicing Pancasila with the Islamic values, which is there is no contradiction between the two.

Abstract

Islamic education is considered only oriented to the hereafter alone, teach rituals and develop a defensive posture and formisme paradigm. On the other hand, Islamic education is faced with the phenomenon of discontinuity which marked the waning value of respect for the basic values and ethics, such as honesty, discipline, tolerance. This Problem is what ignited K.H. Ahmad Dahlan (1868-1923) and Muhammad Fethullah Gülen (1838 - ...) strengthening Islamic education. This study aims to understand the concepts, practices, and comparative Islamic education K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and Muhammad Fethullah Gülen. This type of research is the study of literature with historical and philosophical approach.The results show: first, the concept of Islamic education K.H. Ahmad Dahlan stressed intregration of religious sciences and the modern sciences, tolerance, open to modernity and perfection of mind (intellect); for Fethullah Gülen education is a manifestation of Allah, which emphasizes ethics, science, and theology. Secondly, the common the sharing concept between the two are at: ideas, foundation, educational goals and teaching methods. Third, while the point of difference lies in the educational materials, dormitory educational models (boarding school) and implementing a system of moving class.

Abstract

According to the conditions and resources-including social resource and organizational culture - owned by each structure and foundation lines as well as setting external (social, culture, politics, economy, etc.) that vary by region and area, the model of development of the true Islamic Society, at least be able to show three forms or models; First, the homogeneous MIyS model. MIyS is formed from components and members of the same community, all members are Muhammadiyah followers.  Second, intra-heterogeneous MIyS models. MIyS awakened from the Muslim community components but diverse organization (Muhammadiyah, Persis, NU, SI, Al-Irsyad, etc.); and Muhammadiyah became its leading sector. Third, extra-heterogeneous MIyS embodied in the reality of a pluralistic society religion, ethnicity, culture, politics, and so on. In this third model Muhammadiyah should really be extra smart and wise in building MIyS, so as not to cause turbulence and potential conflicts. Of the three models MIyS could also be seen as a civil Muhammadiyah dynamics of Islam civil or Islamic civil society that can manifest itself in scale and non-uniform type.
