Abstract

Value added is an indicator of the economic strength of a business. There are several ways to increase added value, namely by processing into new products, preserving, making attractive packaging, and improving the quality of a product. Most of the yield of purple cassava in the Karangnyar area is still sold in the form of raw products and has not been much processed, so the added value is still low. This study identified various processed cassava products, analyzed the added value of processed products, analyzed the added value of purple cassava supply chain and proposed the development of purple cassava. The method used to calculate the added value is the Hayami method. The results of the study showed that there were three alternatives of processed products of purple color namely bakpia, thymus and wingko. The biggest added value of processed products is wingko with an added value of Rp. 26,561 and a ratio of 64%. The highest value supply chain added is UMKM Murakabi network with an added value of Rp. 19,152 and a ratio of 70%, while the network with added value the lowest is a retailer network with an added value of Rp 6,257 and a ratio of 28%. These results indicate that the development of purple cassava business should be done by processing purple cassava in the form of wingko.

Abstract

The control and maintenance of inventories is a problem common to all enterprises in any sector of a given economy. Two fundamental question that must be answered in controlling the inventory are when to replenish the inventory and how much to order for replenishment. The (Q,r) inventory models attempt to answer the two question under a variety of circumstances. Studies have shown, (1) that a company that ignores lead-time demand variability may suffer great financial damage, (2) that the gamma distribution provides the most common best fit to lead-time demand for variety of inventories items, (3) that a fixed lead-time demand assumption or a normal approximation to it will often yield significant errors (Namit and Chen, 1998).This research performed an efficient and accurate algorithm for solving (Q,r) inventory model with gamma lead-time demand.

Abstract

An increasingly rapid development of the transportation in Yogyakarta led to the increased of congestion in the city. It encourages the Government to provide adequate, safe and convenient public transport for people. One of the local transportation mode is called Trans Jogja. The existence of Trans Jogja then make tight competition of the transportation business in Yogyakarta. Increasing of the intensity of competition and the number of competitors requires the company to provide more satisfactory service than competitors. In order to improve the services, it is necessary to measure the customer satisfaction. This study was measured overall customer satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). It is based on five dimensions of service quality i.e. tangibles (physical evidence), reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Finding shown 68.7542% of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). It means that the Customer Satisfaction of Trans Jogja is still low in overall. This is also proved by the negative value of the gap between expectations and perceptions of customers. Therefore, improvement of the quality of service required in accordance with the priorities that have been generated by this study in order to improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Recently, creative industries growth significantly. However, this growth is still constrained by various factors, one of which is the funding. This aspect has not been solved well although there has full government support. This is due among other things: 1) there is no form of financing schemes in accordance with the creative industries; 2) the amount of commitments lending by financial institutions is not adequate. 3) have not been socialized and performing well. This constraint requires more detailed analysis of the aspects most and very influential on the growth of the creative industries. This research was conducted through analysis of the logical framework approach as well as industrial cluster approach to the object in the fashion and design , which is well established in Bandung. Outcomes were include: 1) identification of critical success factors (CSF) in small industry based on the demand and the potential of the locality; 2) the mapping capitalization model of stimulus and treatment of the CSF; 3) analysis of products value-added based on demand and market; 4) analysis of capital policy for the creative industry.
