Abstract

 Poverty is one of the very complex problems in some community. Poverty is affected by many factors, including environmental, health, income, and location of residence. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce poverty appropriately. According to the Indonesian Presidential Regulation No. 13 Year 2009 on Poverty Reduction Coordination, Article 1, on poverty reduction policies and programs of the government and local authorities conducted a systematic, planned, and synergy with the business community and the public to reduce the number of poor people in order to increase the degree of people welfare. Map of Distribution Poverty, is one prototype map, which can be used to display data based on spatial poverty. Poverty data is usually displayed in the form of numbers or index, can be displayed in the map sheet or visualized, making it easier to understand the conditions of poverty in the community. Mapping is done with a detailed scale of 1: 5000, with the data source satellite imagery in Kledungkredenan, Banyuurip, Purworejo, Central Java Province.

Abstract

Household consumers always have a need for current and future needs. To full fill future needs is done by creating savings. Through ownership savings can protect emergency matters and other necessities to in the future. This study aimed to analyze the effect of income, savings interest rate, number of family, education, transaction costs and the type of work on the number of household savings in the village Panggeldlangu,  Purworejo, Central Java. Data analysis method used is multiple regression with a sample of 71 households. One of the result of research is income, savings interest rate, number of family members, education, transaction costs and the kind of work simultanous significant effect on the amount of the savings. Meanwhile partially variable of family size is negative effect, while the variables of income, education of household head, and transaction costs are the positive effect, but variable interest rate savings and the type of work did not significantly affect household saving.

Abstract

To win the market competition, companies must have segmenting, targeting, positioning strategy and pricing strategy. This study aims to determine segmenting, targeting, positioning strategy as well as the company's pricing strategies on Kecap Blekok Company in Cilacap. Methods of data collection in this study using interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed market segment of Kecap Blekok Company is the lower middle class, the chosen target market is segment concentration or a single market, Kecap Blekok Company is positioned on the lower middle class with high quality. For the pricing strategy is employed by Kecap Blekok Company using cost plus pricing method to set the selling price.

Abstract

Soko village is a village located 8 km south of the town of Purworejo and in the District Bagelen. Geographically, the village of Soko is a hilly region that consists of 5 Hamlet is Krajan, Mojosongo, Sukolegok, Kebonkuning 1 and Kebonkuning 2.Permasalahan difficulty of clean water when dry and rainy seasons causing these areas clean water crisis. During the dry season the water receded and no resources at all. And when the rainy season the water became dirty due to poor drainage and yard waste from residents who go to the source of clean water.The purpose of the implementation of KKN PPM in the village Soko Bagelen districts are: 1) The creation of a favorable environment infrastructure (water, drainage, and sewage), 2) availability of clean water for 4 hamlets, and the creation of alternative water sources through self mapping.The target to be achieved is the creation of the role of NGOs would be willing to clean water for four hamlets (160kk), the creation of environmentally sustainable infrastructure, 3) The creation of an alternative water source.While the methods to be used in achieving that goal is to provide guidance to communities, training, and implimentasi. This activity is supported by the Agency for Family Planning and Community empowerment purworejo district.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprise (SME/UKM) plays an important role in the national economic development, due its role in the economic growth and employee recruitment as well as its role in the development of product distribution. During the economic crysis that occured in this country a few years ago, which affected to the collapse of many big scale firms, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME/UKM) proved tougher in facing the crisis. Small and Medium Enterprise (SME/UKM) Dharma Karya is located in Harjobinangun, Pakem, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Small and Medium Enterprise (SME/UKM) Dharma Karya has problems which are cannot grow as much as possible due to a limitation of facilities of production process so it can’t be produce many product in maximum amount. The other problem is Small and Medium Enterprise (SME/UKM) Dharma Karya cannot sell their product in market because a limitation of skill and the product socialization. So that, KKN PPM UII is conducting a progam of procurement of required equipment and mentoring of entrepreneurship motivation, improvement of product quality, packaging products, quality of packaging, networking and cooperation. This program can improve the quality and productivity of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME/UKM) so that improve the rural economy.

Abstract

With the enactment of Law No. 6 of 2014 on the village then became a tremendous opportunity for every village in Indonesia to be able to develop all their potential independently according to the needs of each in order to realize the public welfare. Law number 6 th 2014 Article 4 is to encourage initiative, movement, and the participation of the village community to the development potential and assets for the welfare of the village together; as well as improve the economy of the village community and overcome the gap of national development. But this time there is very little village that is able to develop its potential. It is due to this village for more positioned as the object of development so it relied on the help of the central government. Low creativity of human resources in the village as a result of the development system is centralized in the past resulted in a lot of potential left to rot is not developed to the source of the prosperity of society. In an effort to manage the existing potential, the necessary institutional strengthening through the establishment of institutional capacity building in a professional, efficient, effective and responsible so as to improve the economy of the community and solve the problems of poverty that has been happening.
