Abstract

Workers is are the most important factors of production within an enterprise to achieve goals and to determinethe progress of a company. The company should establish regulations regarding workers compensationespecially for pregnant and giving birth workers. The company must ensure the safety, security and comfort ofthe workforce. Therefore, the company shall establish regulations that comply with National labor Regulations.The objectives of this research was to find out whether the pregnant female workers are treated fairly regardingtheir compensations in terms of financial and non financial compensations. About 101 femake workers fromplywood industry in Central Java were chosen as respondents of this study. The results of this study showed thatrespondents perceived the implementation of regulation of wages, social security, the availability of leave, andthe protection of health and safety from the company they worked are good enough in accordance with thecompany regulationas and National labor regulations.Keywords: pregnant woman workers, compensation, justice, discrimination

Abstract

Perencanaan karir sebaiknya dilakukan seorang individu sejak dini agar dapat mencapai kesuksesan karir yangdiinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perencanaan karir dan faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhi perencanaan karir yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi sebuah perguruan tinggi diJawa Tengah. Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, penelitian dilakukan terhadap sejumlah 94 orangmahasiswa semester ke IV yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner semi terstruktur. Penyajian data hasil penelitian diolah denganmenggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan karir yangdilakukan oleh responden mencakup lima tahap meliputi: Assess Yourself, Explorer careers, Create a Plan & SetGoals, Expand Skills, dan Find a Job. Masing-masing tahap dalam perencanaan karir yang dilakukan olehresponden mahasiswa dalam penelitian termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa faktor yangpaling besar pengaruhnya terhadap perencanaan karir mahasiswa yaitu potensi yang ada dalam diri, bakat yangdimiliki, minat terhadap bidang tertentu, pergaulan dengan teman sebaya dan faktor lingkungan sekitar.Kata kunci : perencanaan karir, mahasiswa, bakat dan minat

Abstract

The Influence of Advertising on The Buying Interest of Youtube Users with Brand Recognition as Intervening VariableInternet media can be used to do marketing, one of which is Youtube. This study aims to explain the effect of advertising on buying interest on Youtube users using brand recognition as an intervening variable. The sample in this study amounted 180 students of  Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana who saw Nike product advertising on Youtube. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The result of the research shows that advertising have a significant positive effect to brand recognition, brand recognition have significant positive effect to buying interest, and brand recognition can not function as intervening variable in relationship between advertising and buying interest.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v8i1.5885

Abstract

CSR with a shared value creation approach is characterized by the concept of social entrepreneurship, so as to produce a new business model from the social changes that occur. The purposes of this study are to determine the process of developing social entrepreneurship in the Spice and Fruit Village CSR Program and to identify the creation of shared values ​​resulting from Sido Muncul CSR program. The research method used is qualitative in which the validity of the data is tested by the triangulation method. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations with Sido Muncul and fostered residents for the Spice and Fruit Village Program in Bergas Kidul and Diwak Villages. The results of this study indicate that the process of developing social entrepreneurship in CSR programs is carried out through several stages, including identification of social problems, allocation of resources, collaboration and partnerships, adaptation of products and processes, and social innovation. The creation of shared values ​​resulting from the CSR program is organizational performance and social performance. Organizational performance can be seen through management support, employee commitment, company reputation, and organizational finance. Social performance can be seen through the role of social entrepreneurship, harmonious relationships between shareholders and stakeholders, social innovation, and community independence. Organizational performance has a reciprocal relationship with social performance, which can produce sustainable growth.https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v8i2.4240

Abstract

Companies that are able to communicate their marketing will have an impact on brand equity improvement. This study aims to examine the influence of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) which consists of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and publicity, direct marketing, instructional materials and corporate design to the brand equity of Gojek Yogyakarta. The sample of this study amounted 150 respondents who are Go-Ride customers who already know IMC Gojek. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that IMC influence brand equity, and partially variable of advertising, sales promotion, and corporate design having significant positive effect to brand equity. Based on the results of this study, Gojek Yogyakarta needs to increase the promotion of ideas to change attitudes and consumer behavior, increase the value of the product so as to achieve certain marketing goals, and strengthen the picture of service outlet or corporate identity for the message received by consumers through effective marketing communication channel mix.

Abstract

The implementation of 'Industry 4.0' brings consequences to industry, market and economy, including Textile and Textile Products which is one of the leading sectors in Indonesian export products. The use of more efficient technologies into alternatives that need to be developed to encourage increased productivity and investment in the TPT industry sector. Sritex as one of the fastest growing textile companies has also implemented Industry 4.0. In this research, will be analyzed about the Sritex value chain, the application of Industry 4.0 on the Sritex value chain, and the impact of the application of the Industry 4.0. The type of this research is qualitative research, where data obtained through secondary data contained in company profile, annual report Sritex, and articles related to Sritex. The result of this research is the application of Industry 4.0 technology in the Sritex value chain affecting products and processes, and enabling increased efficiency and productivity of the company. Application of Industry 4.0 affects 3 (three) interactive components of the organization and is highly interdependent, among them technology, structure, and people along the Sritex value chain.

Social entrepreneurship can be integrated into the realm of corporate social responsibility, resulting in a balance between economic value and social value through cooperation and investment. The purpose of this study was to determine the social entrepreneurship model developed by Sido Muncul as an impact of implementing the partnership program with farmers. The research method used is qualitative in which the validity of the data is tested by the triangulation method. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation to Sido Muncul and Sido Muncul's partners. The results of this study indicate that the social entrepreneurship model produced by Sido Muncul's corporate social responsibility program consists of various driving factors, including: the importance of stakeholders, social proactivity, governance, social intrapreneurs, and local wisdom. Abstract

This research investigates four proxies of competitive ratio that being influence to the company profitability. These proxies are industry profitability, weighted leverage, weighted capital intensiveness, and market share. The sample employed in the present study consist of the 54 firm, which have been listed at Jakarta Stock Exchange since 1999. The annual financial report data employed spans the years 1999-2004. The z test is used to test hypothesis.Research findings show that, first industry profitability, weigted leverage, and capital intensiveness are statistically significant to influence return on asset. Second, industry profitability and weighted capital intensiveness are statistically significant to influence return on equity. Third, regression model of ROA has R2 higher than regression model of ROE. This result indicates that ROA model is more robust than ROE model.Keywords:  Return on asset, return on equity, industry ratio.

This studies actually analyze distributor segmentation in Temanggung district by two types analysis such as Pareto and Supplier Preferences in Pia King Company Temanggung. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of responsibility accounting on trading company and to identify advantages and disadvantages of responsibility accounting in the company. Results of this study will illustrate the performance of the responsibility centers of company as a profit center, cost center, and the center of investment. In addition, this study will analyze the causes and effects of the performance of corporate responsibility centers. This study uses a trading company be located in Kupang as research objects. The data used is quantitative data in the form of financial statements 2010-2014 and qualitative data in the form of an interview to the organization committee of the company.
