Abstract

Small Medium Entreprises (SMEs) have contributed significantly in regional and national economics. Stakeholders in the region have much expected that SMEs should play more important role as solution in decreasing unemployment and developing small scale business. Kelompok Makanan Olahan Darma Karya (Darma Karya Processing Food Business Group) in Harjobinangun Village, Pakem, Sleman, DIY is one of small medium enterprises that has been continuously received supervision from the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Universitas Islam Indonesia (DPPM UII). Over the time, the development of this business group have been much progressive. However, this group still need assistance in developing their business, viewing the fact that the business rivalry has been more competitive. In such, it is expected that the business group can further develop and contribute to the economic development in the region of  Sleman. The decision to have a proper marketing strategy is one of the efforts offered by the management and economic experts from DPPM UII in supervising Darma Karya Business Group. This marketing strategy utilizes Grand Matrix SWOT.

Abstract

Entrepreneurshas a place in society as a professionthatcan not simply be able tomake improvements and changes in the quality of life for themselves and society, butalso entrepreneurs also been shown to play a significant role indelivering the quality ofpeople's self and nation. Business / entrepreneurshipwould require planning for growthoptimism and developments with priorities. The increase in the number ofentrepreneurs is also beingconducted, one that can be use is to provide training relatedto the design of a business plan that is given to housewife in Puluhan village. Theprogram is done in order to motivate the mother/housewifes in Puluhan village tobecome entrepreneurs and maximize the value of which is selling tomatoes Villagecommodity that can be processed into more valuable products such as preserves andketchup.

Abstract

Quality control is important thing to be done by a company to minimize the defective product. Companies can analyze product defects by using six sigma method, by formulating Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) that occurred. The purpose of this study was to determine how the quality control using six sigma method is applied in a manufacturing company. The results showed that company which became the research object has an average of 0.34% product defects, it means that its cost of poor quality is less than 1% of sales. This shows that the company has reached six sigma, which means that the company actually has done a very good quality control. Based on this research, recommendation that can be given are the company needs to put quality control at every stage of the production process, train the workforce, conduct the quality contracts with suppliers so that supplied materials have excellent quality and provide an adequate storage (warehouse) to maintain the material quality.

Abstract

Having a harmonious family is harmonious is the desire of every couple who hasbeen married. But to realize it is not an easy task. Especially in the midst of the timesnow, run to build a harmonious family, can maintain the integrity of the household isalready a remarkable achievement. Marriage is a series of worship to Allah wa Ta'alaSubhaanahu in which there are many virtues and great rewards reaped by the couple.However, we have encountered on our brothers had misjudged a marriage, even amongthose not understand the science though. We chose this program because at thenumber of early marriages that occurred in Hamlet Ngaglik RT / RW 02/04, where it isstill need knowledge to raise a family sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah. The program isselected to provide knowledge to the Hamlet Ngaglik RT / RW 02/04 how to raise afamily sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah. The event begins with a number of people who dothe data collection of early marriage. This was followed by the provision of material firstcounseling given by religious leaders Hamlet Ngaglik RT / RW 02/04, Mr Abdusyakur.The next stage is done by giving the material a second extension to the award of thesecond material which is filled by the head of KUA Mr Siswanto. After giving the laststage of extension materials are questionnaires, in order to assess how the familysituation of Dukuh Ngaglik RT / RW 02/04, where the family will meet the criteriasakinah, mawaddah, warahmah awards. While the result is the public able to understandhow to foster family became a family sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah.

Abstract

At this time the view of development of organic agriculture as one of thealternative technologies for tackling environmental issues is needed. Major problems thatoccur due to soil contamination that causes supply of nutrients in the soil areincreasingly depleted. Moreover, many elements are missing are not returned to theground. If this goes on continuously, it will be increasingly poor soil nutrients. This canbe overcome by the use of fertilizers. However, chemical-based fertilizers when usedcontinuously will make a new problem for the soil. For that counseling manufacture oforganic fertilizer is given in order to become one of the solutions to improve yieldsresidents.

Abstract

Soko village is a village located 8 km south of the town of Purworejo and in the District Bagelen. Geographically, the village of Soko is a hilly region that consists of 5 Hamlet is Krajan, Mojosongo, Sukolegok, Kebonkuning 1 and Kebonkuning 2.Permasalahan difficulty of clean water when dry and rainy seasons causing these areas clean water crisis. During the dry season the water receded and no resources at all. And when the rainy season the water became dirty due to poor drainage and yard waste from residents who go to the source of clean water.The purpose of the implementation of KKN PPM in the village Soko Bagelen districts are: 1) The creation of a favorable environment infrastructure (water, drainage, and sewage), 2) availability of clean water for 4 hamlets, and the creation of alternative water sources through self mapping.The target to be achieved is the creation of the role of NGOs would be willing to clean water for four hamlets (160kk), the creation of environmentally sustainable infrastructure, 3) The creation of an alternative water source.While the methods to be used in achieving that goal is to provide guidance to communities, training, and implimentasi. This activity is supported by the Agency for Family Planning and Community empowerment purworejo district.

Abstract

The entrepreneurship training program is aims to open the potential of humanresources of Dusun Klakah Nduwur, especially the community of mothers. The benefitsof this training program is the community of mothers in Dusun Klakah Nduwur canspend their spare time in the dry season by creating product that has a sale value,because cintrong (crassocephalum crepidioides leaves) chips that produced by them canbe produced only in rainy season, because the leaves grown in the rainy season only.The method that used in this training program is practicing in making healthy nuggeddirectly together with the mothers. This training program is conducted in one of themothers’ house. The results of this program is the mothers have a new product that hasa sale value and can be marketed and become the family income and also the potentialfrom the community also began to open to bold innovation in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Dusun Kalisat, Selomirah village, District Ngablak, Magelang, Central Java. DusunKalisat community is very open minded  with changes, so the village has experiencedgood progress in the field of livelihood and education. The geographical location ofMagelang district near merbabu mountain and merpapi mountain make the area in thedistrict are vulnerable to natural disasters. Especially landslides and earthquakes. Weneed a building resistant to earthquakes but not spend a lot of costs, sothat the peopleof Dusun Kalisat have guidance on how to build a house to be resistant to earthquakesbut not spend a lot of cost. To resolve this issue held counseling simple housesearthquake resistant.

Abstract

Dalam suatu pemerintahan daerah, penting untuk mengetahui daerah yang memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan pusat pertumbuhan. Karena dengan ditentukannya pusat pertumbuhan, maka akan lebih mudah dalam mempercepat pembangunan daerah. Semakin majunya wilayah pusat pertumbuhan maka wilayah hinterland atau wilayah pendukung juga akan semakin maju. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kabupaten / kota yang menjadi pusat pertumbuhan dan wilayah hinterland di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hal tersebut dapat dianalisis menggunakan analisis konsentrasi daerah, analisis skalogram dan analisis gravitasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2013 didapati Kabupaten Sleman, Kabupaten Bantul, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, dan Kota Yogyakarta sebagai pusat pertumbuhan. Sedangkan pada tahun 2016 yang menjadi pusat pertumbuhan adalah Kabupaten Sleman, kabupaten Bantul dan Kota Yogyakarta. Dalam analisis konsentrasi geografi diketahui bahwa fasilitas-fasilitas telah terdistribusi secara merata di kabupaten / kota Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian telah sesuai dengan RTRW (Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah) Provinsi Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) is one technique of alternativemedicine that have been old enough known. This technique is a development of othertechniques introduced by the nation's children. SEFT including relaxation techniques, isone form of alternative medicine that is easier and safer than acupuncture andacupressure. Because it is easier and cheaper then the dissemination of this technique iseasier to do, one of them on the people of Dusun Babadan. Babadan dusun who haveobtained the information about this method can be used as an alternative medicine andfitness in their homes.
