Abstract

The main problems in this research was the development of Cooperative goal as the pillar of national economic development or as an institution which a healthy economy just was not happening. Accordingly, The Kepahiang District has developed a cooperative which name is “Satmakura Cooperative” as a ground breaking effort in cooperative development policy. Method and approach of research were conducted by qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of evaluation showed that the development cooperation through strategies and models and approaches that involve elements of community leaders and local government officials led to the development of co-operatives became easier to execute. With intensive involvement of government officials with community leaders, local government officials then initiated and cooperative management,  until slowly a number of important management left to the professionals. And the impact and results of the development has been occurred, visible from a number of changes and the real benefits as seen from the increasing number of cooperative members, the increasing scale of business, the infrastructure is good (complete), an increasingly diversified integrated technical and marketing attainment is getting better and wider. Tangible results and impact show that the development of cooperative organizations are conducted in a relatively successful local government to achieve its objectives.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of promotional activities on student preferences in choosing Dehasen University of Bengkulu on the assumption that a person chooses for their factors of rational choice inside. Variable influence of promotional activities are : X1 (advertising), X2 (personal selling), X3 (Publicity), the control variables are : Z1 (selective buying motives), Z2 (patronage buying motives), Z3 (primary buying motives), and variables affected Y (Student preferences). The sample in this research were 245 peoples who are students at the University of Bengkulu Dehasen force from 2015 to 2016. The results of the study found that the ads are not able to influence the primary buying motives University Students Dehasen Bengkulu for prospective students consider one of the basic needs is education, so basically students who feel that education is a basic requirement will not see advertising as a reference, but the impact of fulfillment the study is due to have a proper education, students will have the ability in a variety of academic fields so that students will get a decent job and of the rewards of decent work in addition to the basic needs of education students will be able to be fulfilled optimum. Variable personal selling and publicity can influence selective buying motives, patronages buying motives, and the primary buying motives, but patronage buying motives has no influence on the preference of the student so that it can be concluded that personal selling and publicity will be able to influence the preferences of students by influencing selective buying motives and Pimary buying motives first. Abstract

Pantai Panjang is one of the best tourism objects of Bengkulu. In the 2007, the government had made the tourism as the foremost sector to enhance the development of Bengkulu Province. Governmental programs to make Bengkulu as one of the tourism destination and PantaiPanjang as International tourism object is one of the governmental policy to vary the public opinion. There are people who accept and the other people who refuse the policy. The main informan of this research is people and seller who selling goods in Pantai Panjang. Pantai Panjang as International tourism destination is supported by society because it will increase the income but also the development of another sectors still will be prioritized. Abstract

This study, entitled The Use of Whatsapp asa CommunicationMedia for studentsthesis guidance. This study aimed to describe the use of whatsapp as a media of communication betweenlecturers with students for thesis guidance. Therefore, it is interesting to examine how students communicate to the supervisor via whatsapp, includingthe consultations about the thesis guidance in performing routine tasks for the students’ final thesis. The subjects were students of communication department who were doing thesis guidance numbered 72 people in 2016. The informants werethe lecturersof 10 peoplewho certainly connected with the researcher’s whatsapp. The researcher used the theory of diffusion of innovation and social penetration theory to analyze the data. While the method used in this research was a field study where the researcher plunged into the field and the data were taken directly from the study sites. Furthermore, the researcherstudied literatures by finding material from books, articles, and scientific journals. With the phenomenological method, the researcher obtained an overview of the entire process experience of using whatsapp as a communication between the lecturers with the students. Through whatsapp interpersonal communication activities will be established as an alternative media when students and lecturers could not hold a thesis counseling process face to face. They will continue discussing without space and time. This is in order to anticipate a very shortthesis guidance schedule and lecturers’ bustle. Students are assisted without waiting to hear from lecturers about guidance schedules, thesis discussion and others. Because the whatsapp discussion group has been formed by lecturers and students for thesis guidance. This is in order to motivate the students, improve academic activities such as paper consultation, and avoid students from stress feeling during thesis guidance. Abstract

The attitude of fishermen community’s employers in Bengkulu city toward Institution Number 7 on 2016 about protection and empowerment for fishermen of fish farmers and salt fond farmers, basically was an early image of how process and content of the institution could encourage actively participation on efforts of fishermen community’s protection and empowerment, especially in Bengkulu city. The research with descriptive qualitative approach was conducted by interview and observation toward 15 employer informants in 3 areas, there were in Pantai Jakat, Kampung Bahari and Malabero areas of Bengkulu City. The research result shows that generally the employers in Bengkulu City can be divided into 1) employer of ship owner, consist of employer whose actively and not actively sailing 2) employer as collector of fisherman catch result from sailing, both for sold directly or became processed food. The research result also indicates that although the employers did not know exactly the process of making and content of the Institution of protection and empowerment of fishermen, but they understand the risk and susceptibility life of fishermen community, because basically they are also part and parcel of the fishermen life. This case makes them support and agree the issuance of Institution of protection and empowerment of fishermen. The employers hoped that there is socialization of the institution so they can participate on the implementation of Institution Number 7 on 2016 about protection and empowerment for fishermen of fish farmers and salt fond farmers. Abstract

Social media nowadays is able to be a new media phenomenon which close to the Indonesian society, especially for the adolescents and adults. With the social media power as a cyber characteristic frequently produce the phenomena which have been booming for the social media users themselves. In this research, researchers are interested to review the meme phenomena in Instagram as social media. The type of this research is qualitative research. The informants of this research is public employees (PNS) Bappeda Bengkulu Province as Instagram users which regularly active to post memes using meme pictures on their Instagram accounts. Females are considered to be more expressive in front of people. The results of this research showed that there were three motives behind the memes posting activities by Instagram users, which are for entertaining, love, and soul expression. Moreover, in order to interpret the activities of memes posting which have done by Instagram users, researcher figured two main points which are Instagram users feel observed by followers and give the informations for the intagram followers. Therefore, it can be concluded that the meme phenomena is one of the phenomena which the social media users delivering the messages in the new forms by combining the verbal languages with nonverbal communication (expression). Abstract

This study shows that in the implementation of Government Regulation No. 33 Year 2012, the Department of Health always educate health workers in health centers especially midwives about exclusive breastfeeding. This information is passed through the village midwife to the community outreach exclusive breastfeeding and pregnant women. In implementing the Government Regulation No. 33 of 2012 the Department of Health do not have sufficient human and financial resources, while for facilities and material information is already available. Midwives in health centers and village midwives have to implement the commitments well in delivering the program to the public especially exclusive breastfeeding mothers with babies. PHC Arga Makmur already cooperating across sectors and programs to support exclusive breastfeeding programs in Arga Makmur subdistrict. Mothers already know and understand about exclusive breastfeeding and its benefits after being given counseling by midwives Conclusion of research is the implementation of Government Regulation No. 33 Year 2012 on Provision of BMS Exclusive in District Arga Makmur review of aspects of communication, resources, implementing and bureaucracy already done PHC Arga Makmur and mothers already understand about exclusive breastfeeding and its benefits after being given counseling by midwives about exclusive breastfeeding. Abstract

This research is motivated by the E-KTP corruptionnewscases reported by Liputan6.com, in reporting cases of corruption E-ID card is a case that has since 3 (three) years ago investigated by the Commission and has not been resolved until today and had 2 (two ) the person determined to be a suspect and many witnesses who have been examined by the Commission graft procurement project E-KTP. This study aims to determine Domain Discourse, Subject Discourse and Tools Discourse in reporting corruption cases E-KTP in Liputan6.com site. The method used is a qualitative research MAK Halliday social semiotic approach in defining the text of a news and review thesystem in the form of sign language generated by humans. The results of this study indicate that there are three different contexts, namely the Domain Discourse, Subject Discourse and Tools Discourse. In the Domain Discourse that made Nazaruddin words that reveal there is a flow of funds E-ID card project to a certain political parties who sit in the House. The immediate goal is that people or readers know that this case is a big and difficult cases handled by KPK today. Long-term goal is this news or placed on online media sites so that people can read anytime and anywhere. Subject Discourse in this newsthat is quoted were Nazaruddin, Novanto, Febri Diansyah, Sugiharto, Ganjar Pranowo, Markus Nari, Chairuman Harahap, Junaidi, Elza Syarif, Basaria Panjaitan, and Irman. Their role there is a witness, a suspect, spokesman and lawyers. Some social distance among them which has a distance and tone; others have a relationship like Nazaruddin, Novanto, Ganjar Pranowo, Chairuman Harahap, and Markus Nari had worked a member of DPR Commission II. Irman, Sugiharto, and Junaidi both working at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Febri Diansyah and Basaria Panjaitan was KPK spokesman. Elza syarif was attorney Nazaruddin. Furthermore tools discourse in this news style of language used is Eufisme, Aptronim, Apofasis, Majas Tautology, Contradiction Minus And Ellipsis. What type of interaction is dialogical. The medium used is writing. Channels visual form because this story was written, and only can be seen.
