Abstract

The attitude of fishermen community’s employers in Bengkulu city toward Institution Number 7 on 2016 about protection and empowerment for fishermen of fish farmers and salt fond farmers, basically was an early image of how process and content of the institution could encourage actively participation on efforts of fishermen community’s protection and empowerment, especially in Bengkulu city. The research with descriptive qualitative approach was conducted by interview and observation toward 15 employer informants in 3 areas, there were in Pantai Jakat, Kampung Bahari and Malabero areas of Bengkulu City. The research result shows that generally the employers in Bengkulu City can be divided into 1) employer of ship owner, consist of employer whose actively and not actively sailing 2) employer as collector of fisherman catch result from sailing, both for sold directly or became processed food. The research result also indicates that although the employers did not know exactly the process of making and content of the Institution of protection and empowerment of fishermen, but they understand the risk and susceptibility life of fishermen community, because basically they are also part and parcel of the fishermen life. This case makes them support and agree the issuance of Institution of protection and empowerment of fishermen. The employers hoped that there is socialization of the institution so they can participate on the implementation of Institution Number 7 on 2016 about protection and empowerment for fishermen of fish farmers and salt fond farmers. Abstract

Abstract : Asean Economic Community (AEC) is a part of social change will be faced by the nation of Indonesia. On a global scale, MEA is began to the development of strategic sectors such as economic development, the application of information technology and the creation of a conducive socio-cultural in masyarakat.In  life, education became the main focus  in producing quality human resources. Thus, intelligently filling of opportunities and face the challenges MEA.Therefore, participatory learning, which is based on the individual's involvement in a whole series of learning becomes important to develop. Teachers as educators function as a facilitator and partner simultaneously. The taps in the expression is opened widely and integrative bagisetiap individuals.In the process of the development of participatory learning, experience and reasoning thinking as bases in sharpening social sensitivity is intended to respond to social change. So that individuals are able to see and understand the social reality as a whole. In addition, individuals should be able to read or potential opportunities in the face of the MEA. Thus, the potential will be able to thrive in both the local and global scale. Through the development of participatory education learning, learners are encouraged to be able to be personally critical, creative and innovative. With so may increase the human resources that are responsive and adaptive to social change.Abstrak : Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) merupakan bagian dari perubahan sosial yang akan segera dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia. Dalam skala global,MEAakanmenitikberatkan pada upaya pengembangan sektor strategis seperti pembangunan ekonomi, penerapan teknologi informasi dan penciptaan sosial budaya yang kondusif dalam kehidupan masyarakat.Untuk itu,pendidikan menjadi lokus utama yang dinilaiberkontribusi dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia berkualitas. Sehingga, mampu secara cerdas mengisi peluang sekaligus menghadapi tantangan MEA.Oleh sebab itu, pembelajaran partisipatif yang bertumpu pada keterlibatan individu dalam seluruh rangkaian pembelajaran menjadi penting untuk dikembangkan. Guru sebagai tenaga pendidik menjalankan fungsi sebagai fasilitator sekaligus patner secara bersamaan. Keran dalam berekspresi dibuka secara luas dan integratif bagisetiap individu. Dalam proses pengembangan pembelajaran partisipatif,pengalaman dan penalaran berpikir menjadi basis dalam mengasah kepekaan sosial yang ditujukan untuk merespon perubahan sosial. Sehingga individu mampu melihat dan memahami realitas sosial secara utuh.Disamping itu, individu diharapkan mampu membaca peluang ataupun potensi diri dalam menghadapi MEA. Dengan demikian, potensi akan dapat berkembang baik dalam skala lokal maupun global. Melalui pengembangan pembelajaran pendidikan partisipatif, peserta didik didorong untuk dapat menjadi pribadi yang kritis, kreatif serta inovatif.Dengan begitu dapat meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang responsif dan adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial.

Abstract

Indonesia has culture diversity considered as national asset. But, if culture diversity is not managed well, it will trigger gap, conflict, disunity and violence. Therefore, the attempt to reconstruct four nationality pillars is essential. The goal is to give concept of be-Indonesian as integrative, comprehensive, and also become the foundation to enhance national unity. Four nationality pillars are: Pancasila as national ideology, basic law of 1945 as national constitution, Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) as the form of the country and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika as the national motto. The target of this program is students in 3 senior high schools and vocational high school in Bengkulu city. The methods in community service activities are workshops through the provision of material which begins with pre-test activities and ends with post test, FGD, and mentoring. After the activity, the knowledge of the students about the four nationality pillars has increased significantly. From the activities conducted in 2 schools, it is found that the average increase of students' knowledge about the four pillars of nationality increased up to 30.8% and 38.7%. Each school always disseminates knowledge about the four nationality pillars through teaching in each school. The distribution of knowledge about the four nationality pillars is not only done among students, but also for the teachers. The goal is to be able to reconstruct and internalize the four nationality pillars as an effort to strengthen the soul of nationalism and minimize acts of violence that can be a potential for radicalism and national division.  Keywords: Four Nationality Pillars, Nationalism, Student

Abstract

Pelaksanaan program puskesmas ramah anak (PRA) yang dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Jalan Gedang,Kota Bengkulu dinilai menjadi salah satu upaya dalam mewujudkan pemenuhan hak dasar padaanak di bidang kesehatan dan kesejahteraan. Kehadiran program ini merupakan upaya pemerintahkota dalam merealisasikan kebijakan kota layak anak di Kota Bengkulu. Sebagaimanapenyelenggaraan sebuah program, maka PRA pun tidak terlepas dari hambatan dalam prosespelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai hambatan yang terjadidalam pelaksanaan program Puskesmas Ramah Anak di Kota Bengkulu. Adapun pendekatanpenelitian yang dipilih ialah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukanmelalui wawancara, diskusi kelompok terpumpun,  observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknikpenentuan informan dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data melaluilangkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian menghasilkankesimpulan bahwa hambatan pelaksanaan puskesmas ramah anak di Puskesmas Jalan Gedangdiantaranya : belum optimalnya pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh gugus tugas puskesmas ramahanak dalam penyelenggaraan PRA, belum tersedianya sumberdaya manusia yang menunjangkeberadaan program yang nantinya diharapkan dapat terintegrasi dalam program PRA, seperti :keberadaan dokter spesialis maupun psikolog, ketidaktersediannya sarana dan prasarana dalammenunjang keberlangsungan PRA seperti alat permainan untuk anak, partisipasi masyarakat dananak di sekitar kawasan yang dinilai masih rendah dalam mendukung program yang ada dipuskesmas, belum adanya tindaklanjut dari hasil kerjasama yang telah dilakukan oleh pihakpuskesmas secara lintas sektoral dengan pihak lain. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many settings, one of which is in the educational process. Through the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Education and Culture Number 4 of 2020, the learning process is carried out with an online learning model. This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning and mastery of online learning techniques by teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic, which previously SMAN 02 Bengkulu City had not implemented online learning but was a cyber school that should have been implemented for a long time. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study were analyzed using functional structural theory proposed by Talcott Persons. The determination of informants was carried out using purposive sampling techniques. The research produced information that the implementation of online learning was carried out using whatsapp groups, google classroom, and several other social media such as Instagram, YouTube. Learning methods from teachers such as making videos, presentations via zoom, and collecting writing assignments through whatsapp groups. Mastery of online learning techniques for teachers does not experience much difficulty because teachers only follow in accordance with learning policies during the Covid-19 pandemic, besides that teachers at SMAN 02 Bengkulu City have high motivation or willingness to face challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract Surau Village is one of the villages in the Central Bengkulu region, which is considered to have potential natural resources in the form of rice fields, a river known as Lubuk Vi, suspension bridges, cliffs, waterfalls, warm springs and lakes. This potential is one of the assets in developing Surau village to become a tourist village area. So later, it is expected to impact improving the socio-economic welfare of the village community. Therefore, a critical aspect in realising this is the need for media as a means of information related to the description and potential of the village so that the area can be known more widely, especially in cyberspace. To support this, community service activities are carried out in the form of website management training and social media for tourism awareness groups (pokdarwis) in Surau Village, Bengkulu Tengah. The method used in this activity is through flexible training through discussions, questions and answers, and direct demonstrations to the tourism awareness group (pokdarwis). The activity results are a Surau village website that displays information about the village profile and village tourism potential that the public can access, as well as website management assistance provided to tourism awareness groups with the aim that the website can be managed sustainably and adequately by tourism awareness groups in the village. Abstrak Desa Surau merupakan salah satu desa di kawasan Bengkulu Tengah yang dinilai memiliki potensi sumberdaya alam berupa : area persawahan, sungai yang dikenal dengan sebutan lubuk Vi, jembatan gantung, tebing, air terjun, sumber mata air hangat dan danau. Pada dasarnya potensi tersebut menjadi salah satu aset dalam mengembangkan desa surau untuk menjadi kawasan desa wisata. Sehingga nantinya diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi bagi masyarakat desa. Oleh karenanya, salah satu aspek yang dinilai cukup penting dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut ialah diperlukan adanya media sebagai sarana informasi terkait dengan gambaran dan potensi desa agar kawasan tersebut dapat dikenal secara lebih luas khususnya di dunia maya. Sebagai upaya dalam mendukung hal tersebut maka kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan pengelolaan website dan media sosial bagi kelompok sadar wisata (pokdarwis) di Desa Surau, Bengkulu Tengah. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini melalui pelatihan secara fleksibel melalui dengan cara diskusi, tanya jawab, dan peragaan secara langsung kepada kelompok sadar wisata (pokdarwis). Adapun hasil kegiatan berupa website desa surau yang menampilkan informasi mengenai profil desa serta potensi wisata desa yang dapat diakses oleh publik secara luas. Serta adanya pendampingan pengelolaan website yang dilakukan kepada kelompok sadar wisata dengan tujuan agar website dapat dikelola dengan baik dan berkelanjutan oleh kelompok sadar wisata yang ada di desa tersebut.

Abstract

This research is based on the issue of child sexual abuse, which is a problem in Indonesia, including in Bengkulu City; in response to this, government and non-government institutions must collaborate in assisting victims of child sexual abuse. This research aims to analyze the collaboration process between the Women and Child Protection Agency and the Women's Crisis Center in helping victims of child sexual abuse in Bengkulu City, analyzed using functional structural theory proposed by Talcott Parsons. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques used were non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results show that the collaborative mentoring process was carried out through several indicators: active online and offline communication and high trust and commitment between the two in solving problems. The deliberation stage is the hallmark of collaboration as community strengthening, which involves the community in preventing and handling cases. In some programs implemented, access to human resources is lacking, so collaboration can be established to achieve a more optimal service assistance process and the availability of financial resources from the central government. This study concludes that in addition to a smooth mentoring process, there are still obstacles, including the lack of evaluation and budget from the local government to support the smooth mentoring process.
