The aim of this study to determine the economics participation and contribution of women farmers households in the Bintarore village Ujung Bulu sub-district Bulukumba regency. The population in this study are 132 people, drawn sample by 20% from a total population so that 26 housewives farmers were obtained. Sampling is done by simple random sampling method. Data analysis that used in this research is qualitative analysis through interpretation and comprehension. Furthermore, the percentage of housewives farmers participation in the pre-production and post-harvest stage of seaweed farming in Bintarore village, Ujung Bulu sub-district, Bulukumba regency, calculates the income of housewives in seaweed production is number of expenses made by housewives Ladder in pre-production activities multiplied by price (Rp / stretch).The results showed that housewives farmers household participated more in pre-production activities compared with post-production activities, the economic impact for housewives provided additional income for the family despite the small nominal value.

The growth of seaweed (Gracilaria verrucosa) is influenced by environmental conditions such as light intensity, temperature, salinity, pH, nitrates, phosphates. This study aims to identify factors that affect water quality seaweed growth, and analyze the relationship between water quality factors with the growth of seaweed. The study was conducted from August to October 2016. The results showed the specific growth of seaweed during the study an average of 3.605 %. Water quality during the study, the average light intensity 2311.5 lux, average temperature 27°C, the average pH 7.92, average salinity 18.85 ppt, nitrate average of 0.2253 mg/L and phosphate average of 0.380 mg/L. Water quality is obtained during the study supports the growth of seaweed.

Increasing aquaculture production is one of the national program one Koi Fish Cyprinus carpio. Koi fish is a freshwater fish that has a high economic value due to have a wide variety of colour patterns beautiful body shape. Intensive farming methods developed at this time and the quality of the environment of diminishing give many implications to the emergence of stress levels in the cultivation of organisms, resulting in a low growth rate, which is not optimal pigmentation process and the quality of health of the fish declined. The skin of the mangosteen fruit contains tannins, saponins, flavonida, pectic substance, and iron. This study aimed to obtain information about the status of physiological stimulation immunostimulant Koi carp C. Carpio and evaluate dose Mangosteen peel flour in feed optimal to support growth Koi carp C. Carpio. Containers of research in the form of a jar size 15 L. Pets test form Koi fish. Test parameters such as the measurement of body weight, hematocrit index and survival rate. The results showed that the treatment of various concentrations of mangosteen peel flour in feed giving different values to growth, hematocrit index and survival rate Koi carp fish.

This study aims to t analyze the influence of the provision of extract the rind Mangosteen of xantone on increased response immun of Tilapia fish. The study is done in vitro and in vivo, The research using random design complete (RAL) with the observation parameters of phagocytosis test activity and survival rate. This research intended to evaluate the response immun non-spesifik on Tilapia (O. niloticus) extracted from mangosteen peel. The results of the analysis variety of ANOVA shows that nila fish given extract xanthones, had have real impact on survival nila fish (P0,05). Test results said W-tukey shows that survival highest nila fish is in the provision of xanthones 2,10 ppm / the tail (Treatment C) and are no different by the provision of xanthones by 2.15 ppm / the tail (Treatment D) but different to the provision of xanthones 2.5 ppm/the tail (Treatment B) and control (Treatment A). The results of the analysis variety of ANOVA shows that activity of phagocytosis also had have real impact (P 0.05) between any treatment, test results said W-tukey treatment control different to treatment B, C and D but also between treatment B and treatment D not different.

Di Indonesia terdapat banyak jenis rumput laut yang bernilai ekonomis cukup tinggi salah satu diantaranya Sargassum sp yang mengandung bahan alginat dan iodin yang digunakan pada industri makanan, farmasi, kosmetik dan tekstil. Selain itu juga Sargassum sp. mengandung senyawa-senyawa aktif steroida, alkaloida, fenol, dan triterpenoid berfungsi sebagai antibakteri, antivirus, dan anti jamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi dan pemanfaatan senyawa aktif yang terkandung dalam alga coklat Sargassum sp dan aplikasinya pada bidang perikanan. Hasil kajian yang diperoleh bahwa Spesies-spesies Sargassum sp. yang dikenal di Indonesia ada sekitar 15 spesies. Sargassum sp. dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai antikolesterol, biofuel, biofertilizer, antibakteri, antitumor, antikanker, antifouling, antivirus dan krim kosmetik . Ekstrak Sargassum sp. juga berpotensi sebagai antioksidan dan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan surfaktan. Aplikasi ekstrak Sargassum pada bidang perikanan dapat digunakan untuk menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Vibrio sp yang merupakan penyebab penyakit kunang kunang yang paling berbahaya bagi udang windu.

Parasit Monogenea adalah umumnya ikan-ikan yang hidup di alam dapat terinfeksi oleh berbagai jenis parasit cacing-cacingan seperti Monogenea, Digenea, Nematoda dan Acanthocepala. Parasit ini perlu pemeriksaan lebih lanjut pemeriksaan karena adanya kerusakan yang diakibatkan oleh infeksi parasit ini pada beberapa lokasi pembudidaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi parasit monogenea ikan giru (Amphiprion sp) adalah Brookynella sp, Chilodonella sp dan Trichodina sp. Prevelensi parasit monogenea pada ikan giru (Amphiprion sp) yaitu tertingggi pada pasar hobbi dan terendah marina aquarium. Intensitas serangan parasit monogenea pada ikan giru (Amphiprion sp) yaitu tertingggi pada pasar hobbi dan terendah di marina aquarium. Perlu selalu memperhatikan dan meningkatkan manajemen kesehatan ikan budidayanya dengan menjaga lingkungannya terutama kualitas air pada budidaya ikan giru

This study aims to determine the income of fish tuna business by the Fishermen Women Group "Fatimah Az-Zahrah" in Kelurahan Pattingalloang Ujung Tanah Subdistrict Makassar City. The type of research used is a case study on the business of the Fishermen Group "Fatimah Az-Zahrah" in Kelurahan Pattingalloang Kecamatan Ujung Tanah Makassar. The research used purposive sampling technique in determining the informant. This research was conducted on May to July 2014 which is in Kelurahan Pattingalloang Subdistrict Ujung Tanah Makassar City. The research location was chosen purposely because the location of this research is one of tuna processing industry centres in Makassar. The results of this study indicate the existence of tuna development efforts by the Fishermen Group "Fatimah Az-Zahrah" in Pattingalloang Urban District Ujung Tanah Makassar City Rp 254.284.600/year and monthly income abon tuna fish an average of Rp 21,190. 383.3.

The study aims to investigate the flow of female workforce in each subsystem of the fish agribusiness. The study was carried out in Lappa Village, North Sinjai District of Sinjai Regency. Thirty (30) family heads were purposively selected as samples out of a population of 298 families. The analysis framework is data analysis procedure including hypothesis testing of studied variable workflow. The study indicates that the contribution of the women workforce in the fish agribusiness economic activities is significant because it is greater than that of men. The income contribution of women workforce to the agribusiness activities significant as reflected by the combination of four types of household economic activities of the sample families; production-marketing, processing-marketing, production-processing-marketing, and marketing.
