Abstract

The impact of the perception that mathematics lessons are challenging and tedious is the low motivation of students to solve mathematics problems, which leads to low achievement of learning mastery. The activity focuses on implementing the C3T method and peer tutoring to improve the mastery of mathematics learning for 6th-grade students at SDN Purwomartani. The research method used is qualitative. The activity results show an improvement in the learning mastery of students from 9 students to 27 students, with 1 student receiving remedial action outside of class hours. There is a significant improvement in students’ learning success. It indicates that the C3T method and peer tutoring can enhance students’ learning achievements in mathematics at SDN Purwomartani. The C3T method emphasizes the active role of students, speed, and intelligence in learning, thereby increasing students’ motivation and mastery. Peer tutoring also helps boost the confidence of peer tutors, in addition to providing additional support and guidance to students in overcoming learning difficulties.

Syifa Fikriya Cikande Integrated Elementary School is an exemplary institution dedicated to this goal. Using a systematic and rigorous approach, the institution consistently strives to improve the quality and efficacy of its educational initiatives. This strategic evolution requires a thorough evaluation of the school's flagship program, which includes human resource empowerment, a paradigm shift in learning methodology, data-driven planning strategies, and comprehensive school digitization. As a pioneer in innovative pedagogical approaches, Syifa Fikriya Cikande Integrated Elementary School has systematically implemented a series of programs, each undergoing a careful evaluation process integrating quantitative and qualitative methodologies. It is an essential channel for continuous introspection and refinement in the scientific enterprise. Within the New Paradigm Learning environment, the institution achieved categorical compliance in providing pedagogical materials, reaching a 100% compliance rate. Moreover, adding new pedagogical paradigms, primarily through the judicious application of project-based learning methodologies, showed marked progress, indicating a considerable escalation from 60% to 95%. These developments underscore an unwavering commitment to developing a comprehensive educational environment to enhance the Pancasila Learner Profile.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology necessitates swift adaptation to changing times, especially in the field of education, which is related to learning assessment. Previously, the learning evaluation process used conventional methods such as paper, but now it has evolved with digital-based evaluation media such as Quizizz. Quizizz is designed to help teachers and students conduct learning assessments in elementary schools. This research aims to determine how Quizizz application abilities can be used as a learning evaluation media. The qualitative method is applied in this research, using data collection in the form of literature studies related to relevant journals as the research approach. Articles from journals are dissected and reviewed for data collection, and they are taken from nationally accredited journals from Google Scholar and Sinta. The analysis of related journals found that using Quizizz media can cultivate interest and learning motivation and make learning evaluations more enjoyable with the features available on Quizizz.

Abstract

The application of the differentiated learning strategy is an adaptation effort in the classroom that aims to increase students’ enthusiasm in the learning process and fulfill their varied learning needs. This research focuses on Indonesian language learning for 4th grade students at SDN Kaliajir, Sleman. Implementing differentiated learning involves adapting content, processes, and learning products to individual student differences. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through three main techniques: interviews, observation, and documentation. Research instruments, interview sheets, observation guides and documents, and citation tools supported this data collection. Based on the research data analysis, it can be concluded that several stages must be fulfilled in implementing differentiated Indonesian language learning. These stages include mapping students’ needs through diagnostic assessments, designing differentiated learning plans that suit students’ needs, and evaluating and reflecting on the learning that has been implemented. The application of the differentiated learning model in Indonesian language learning shows a positive impact, reflected in the increase in students’ enthusiasm during the learning process.

Abstract

Learning difficulty means students cannot learn well in an academic field. One of the learning difficulties experienced by students is mathematics, especially the material of small numbers. So, the focus problem of this research is the factors that cause learning difficulties. This research aims to discover the factors of learning difficulties in mathematics in the material of integers in 4th grade students at SD 1 Bakalan Krapyak. This research uses a narrative-oriented qualitative approach. The results prove that the factors that cause student learning difficulties consist of several levels, namely T1 level students with factors that affect learning ability, health, learning environment, and the learning process provided by the teacher. The influencing factors of T2 students are interest in learning, health, classroom environment, and family. The factors that affect S1 students are health and classroom environment. S2 students are interested in learning interest and the classroom environment. R1 students have learning interests, health, classroom environment, and family. R2 students have factors influencing learning difficulties: intelligence, health, classroom environment, and family. So, it is concluded that the factors that cause learning difficulties include internal and external factors. Internal factors are learning ability, interest in learning, health, and individual intelligence. External factors are the classroom environment, including the state of the learning process and the family environment.

Abstract

Family involvement in education plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s character. Children with solid character contribute to preparing the next generation to face the nation’s changes. This research analyzes the relationship between parental support and the disciplined character of 4th grade class B students at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat. The research involved 16 4th grade class B students at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat. This research is a correlational study. The data collection method was a questionnaire, with respondents filling out a checklist and guided by a Likert scale. The data analysis technique employed in this research is the Pearson product-moment correlation analysis by Karl Pearson. The data analysis was conducted to observe the relationship between two variables, using the parametric technique with paired sample t-test, resulting in a significance level of 0.040 and Pearson correlation score of 0.518, indicating a moderate correlation. Therefore, the research findings show a significant relationship between parental support and discipline character. Thus, the conclusion drawn from this research is that higher parental support leads to the formation of stronger discipline character in students. Conversely, lower parental support correlates with lower levels of student discipline.

Abstract

Reconstructionism is a philosophical school that emphasizes change and renewal of the education system. Technological advances influence changes and developments in the education system. English as a second language for students in Indonesia brings challenges in the learning process, as felt by students in 5th grade at SDN Kedaung Wetan 3 who consider English very difficult to learn due to their lack of vocabulary knowledge. The presence of technology as a media is expected to solve the problems the students face. This research aims to describe the implementation of the reconstructionism philosophy in learning English. This research uses a qualitative method using observation, interview, and documentation as research instruments. The subjects of this research are three students from 5th grade and one English teacher, with 4 respondents as the subject research. The observation, interview, and test results show that changes in the education system apply culture to forming student’s character through the Adiwiyata program. Apart from that, this school also experienced changes in the curriculum’s implementation from using the 2013 Curriculum to Kurikulum Merdeka following central government policy. Changes have also occurred in learning English, where teachers and students use textbooks and media such as the Quizizz application and YouTube to deliver the material. It also shows positive findings in achieving their vocabulary.
